When we did it, it was so busy! And this climb is very deceptive as the top keeps moving further away as you climb more. What a nice vlog.

Thank you. Yes, those false summits were heartbreakers. However, the view from the top was definitely worth it.

Well done! This looked like so much fun. I didn't catch when you did this climb. June? July? We usually do our trips to the UK in April when it is not so crowded, but the wonderful weather you had makes me rethink that. I can't wait for your coast to Coast videos. I am researching our next trek and trying to decide between the Coast to Coast and the South Downs Way. Thank you for all the hard work you put in making these videos!

We did this in early June. We had great weather for the Coast to Coast in the first half of June. We had worse luck in later June on the West Highland Way. Our first Coast to Coast video will be next Monday.

10:08 As you mentioned Waswater again, here is sth I looked up:
// The valley was colonised by Norse farmers in the 9th and 10th century. At the Wasdale Head end of the lake is St. Olaf’s Church, one of the smallest in the country. //
St. Olaf descended from Odin but certainly didn't worship him. He's pre-congregation. A martyr.

Another awesome video! What program do you use to create and edit your videos? Thanks

13:11 Cocker Spaniel, but when I first saw it, I wondered if it was a teckel. That's myopia for you.

It’s a Sprocker Spaniel - a cross between a cocker and springer spaniel.

@@staceyandmollypilgrims Didn't know Springer Spaniels or Sprocker Spaniels even existed.
My level in dog breeds is apparently sub par.

16:15 On two occasions, the wind blew very heavily in the microphone.
I read in a library in Germany how to avoid that (it was a children's book about film making), namely put a sock around the mike.

The mike is just built into the GoPro, but, yea, the wind was loud.

2:15 Sth, but Molly's not attending to the weather, she's attending to some sheep wool.

And that continued for days…. She has a giant pile of wool in her room!
