Thanks so much for documenting a wonderful adventure. We're off to the C2C in 3 weeks (9/24) and watched all of your vids to see the terrain and buildings and, of course, your travels. Gave us a good primer. Feel more prepared now.

Congratulations and jolly well done. It’s been a beautiful walk. PS. I’d be sharing the olive loaf and prosciutto with Pablo.

I had been wanting to try the bakewell tart since I saw it on the British Bake Off, so I was happy to try it. I gave if a 7 out of 10.

Congratulations! And you might be surprised to find out how lucky you were at the end. It looked like high tide when you arrived. We arrived at low tide and ended up walking several hundred extra meters out to the sea and back!

Yeah. We were lucky, because my feet were hurting pretty bad and I was glad I didn't need any extra steps.

If I had it to do over again, I would do it in one more day. The combo of days 3 and 4 was too long.

That was a great walk! Tough on the feet, but worth it. It felt like an accomplishment to reach the North Sea. If you plan to do it, definitely pack a phone and GPS tracks, and be ready to improvise.

In reality, that was one of many places on the entire trek, but it was the most confusing on the last day.

_"so we're walking through the Moors __1:42__ here we can see the ocean over there __1:45__ we're kind of walking South"_
Technically, sorry to be Eustace Clarence nearly deserving to be called Scrubb, technically, an Ocean is a sea between continents.
The North Sea is a sea between Norway / Sweden / Denmark / Germany / BeNeLux / France and UK, all of which are mainland, peninsula or islands of Europe. I e one and the same continent.
Even the Mediterranean is not an Ocean, though it touches three continents, because it doesn't touch their outer corners, but rather their inner rendez-vous ... its a landlocked sea, with Suez, Dardanelles and Gibraltar leading to other seas, if which only the Atlantic is directly an Ocean.

@@staceyandmollypilgrims True, and I had already commented.
Plus I was even wrong, the North Sea isn't landbound either, it's a marginal sea ...
