- JR and I had been wanting to meet up and shoot together for quite some time, and we decided Hong Kong City would be the perfect place to create some awesome videos! As the date got closer to leave for Hong Kong, we became anxious and cautious about the protesting that seemed to be getting worse. But took the plunge and decided to still go and pursue our journey. We had no trouble once we were there and fell in love with the Dense concrete jungle like buildings and were amazing to find so much nature surrounding Hong Kong. This was our journey to the beautiful Hong Kong City and what went down, we hope you enjoy 🙂

I just don't know what to say!!!!! been a while that even VIMEO staff picks couldn't satisfy my eyes, but this!!!! this is amazing!!!! this man is so talented!

Couldn't agree with that statement any more. I got lost in the mindset of needing better and better gear when in reality its the person behind the camera!!
Definitely true; however he's using pretty solid gear here to get these low light shots + probably the A7sIII on a drone (and not just a DJI drone)
The genius of Ben mixing in 3D elements, Fast-paced Cinematics, Vlog, Sound, Story I don't even know how he does it mind blown!!
In an Instagram story he actually stated he never uses 3d element or 4d cinema. Which makes it even more impressive

This is the most incredible travel film i have ever seen!
After all that’s happened the past week, we seriously need to appreciate and take care of what we have or else we’ll lose. Rewatching and listening to message in the end just makes this film more meaningful, especially with everything going on.
The story telling alone had my jaw dropped for 7 minutes and 47 seconds.

I'm from Glasgow but I grew up in Hong Kong, we left just after the umbrella movement but I was in HK for the summer of 2019. I live in Edinburgh now and 6:38 is something that I don't think enough people in the west truly understand. I am honestly surprised after my few years in Scotland at just how restrictive some laws in HK really are, and how bad the censorship has become. I am grateful to be able to criticise the government of the UK and Scotland and say with my friends "this person is a so and so" because these are freedoms you simply don't have anymore in this once beautiful city. Hong Kong will always have a special place in my heart but the city it has become is not the city I remember.
