  • SCT's Melbourne to Perth freight trains usually pass well after dark so this sighting of a late running service passing by slowly in daylight was a pleasant surprise.
    The train consists of four modern diesel locomotives hauling a mixture of boxcars, louvre vans, refrigerated wagons, shipping containers and steel wagons.
    Location: Gheringhap Loop (Victoria, Geelong region), 29/2/2024 3:20pm
    Locomotives: CSR012 + CF4410 + CSR013 + CSR001, 86 wagons.
