HAIR COLOUR:
I dye my own hair at home using L'oreal casting creme gloss 360 (black cherry). Please bear in mind that this is a semi permanent dye and I don't use it regularly, when freshly applied it is BLACK!! If my hair is lighter it is extremely faded and i'm probably due a colour so what you're then seeing is mainly my natural hair colour which is a reddish medium brown.
SKIN TYPE/COLOUR
I'm 36 and my skin is normal with a slightly oily t zone and early signs of aging like fine lines as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I DO NOT use fake tan, I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have olive skin. My face is often a LOT lighter than my body because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!
My Necklace:
I get sooooo many questions about it, I'm so sorry it's not a happy answer! Its actually 2 necklaces together, and both were gifts so I don't have much detail, here is everything my hubby can remember! The larger disc and the chain were from Azendi, it has a picture of the moon and reads "The same moon around the world" (which is something that meant a lot to us when we first met and he was travelling with work A LOT). The smaller discs were from www.notonthehighstreet.com and they have my daughter's fingerprints and name and date of birth and they were a present when she was born. They don't seem to be available anymore I'm sorry!!

Yes! Perfect video! I saw this launch and the very close similarities, the Estée Lauder foundation is sublime so I’m intrigued by this, my only issue is that Revolution chuck out so many new things almost daily, the quality isn’t always there. I’d rather have a smaller selection but amazing high quality, they just have a lot of fingers in a lot of pies jumping on what everyone else is doing.

I'd kill for the Revolution to be amazing 😂 I'm cruelty free, so the Estee Lauder is out of the question for me, but honestly the EL looks better!! I've heard absolutely amazing things about the EL, but I guess this just isn't in the cards for me!

Considering how windy it has been in the UK the past few days and you had been on a “blustery” walk, your makeup held up well! And...AND what a glam look to of had for a walk! 👏🏻👏🏻 I went full face, new top & clean converse trainers for a big shop (I hadn’t been out for 7 days, so no makeup was needed & the cupboards were low), it seems to be the way to go for us makeup lovers for the foreseeable future....🤷♀️👍🏻

I think the Makeup Revolution shade suits you better. I love the sweater!
😂😂 it categorically does not I promise, its about 6 shades lighter than my neck! My husband laughed out loud when I showed him 🙈🙈 it looks less alarming as it's only on one side and i wore a high neck to disguise my darker body. I've posted a natural daylight picture to my community page, hope that's more helpful to show the shade! X

Brilliant video Charlotte. That Estée Lauder foundation looks loads better on you. You defo suit dewy foundations. I was considering getting that Revolution foundation as I saw the claims and the packaging lol but it’s not dewy enough for me too and the settling into lines reminded me how the conceal and hydrate foundation works on me. We must have similar skin types cos every time I try out a foundation you recommend it woks similar on my skin. Thanks for making this video. The shade 8.5 would work perfectly for your winter skin tone. Love that lipstick it’s gorgeous on you 💖💖💖

Hiya! I've heard the No. 7 Perfect and Protect Foundation is a dupe for the Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation as well. Personally, I'm so in love with the Estee Lauder foundation that it would be really really hard for me to find a dupe I love more. I don't mind paying the $45 for a high quality, beautifully formulated product, ya know? Most of my other makeup is drugstore but it's taken me so long to find the perfect foundation (for my skin). Sometimes cheaper isn't always better but I do love a good dupe!! I'll certainly give this a go. Thanks!

Estée Lauder is only not considered cruelty free because they sell in China and China sometimes requires by law.

It does have spf but it’s very gentle maybe when the stores are open again you can go to any EL counter and request a sample they will gladly give you one, that way you can try it.

The "Creme" bb cream seem identical to the EL futurist, in my opinion. Really enjoy both🥰
Extra plus the Creme is made in Korea, not China.
I loved the revolution side it looks like you wear the cc cream of Chanel it’s beautiful it’s like lifting your face I think it’s a question of priming your face or maybe your skin is too oily but it really looked lifted 💕❤️

I'm kind of surprised that it sat so thickly and problematic applied with a sponge (I say that because I always use a brush) I would have thought a sponge would thin out the foundation? I could definitely see the spots you pointed out. I have to say the estee lauder side looks beautiful ❤😍❤ also I really love your top🤩🤗🤩

Have you tried the tatcha silk canvas liquid primer? I was watching Theresa is dead talking about it and said the liquid is more hydrating than the balm

I have really bad forehead wrinkles I use dewy foundations they are my favorite. It seems though i haven't found one to smooth them out like you have said you have found. Can you please recommend me a couple that you love that makes your lines smoother. Thanks so much!!!

I think they tried to copy the it cosmetic cc cream..
I like the makeup revolution side better the color is more of a match IMO.
Its obviously an issue with translation through the screen in that case as it was WILDLY off in real life...at least 3 or 4 shades too light for me. I've posted a pic in natural lighting on my community page that shows how light it is, hope that helps! X
Revolution is highly "inspired" by other products brands. 😁 💜 If we want to be PC. Very informative, but I would always buy the original. How the heck did you make your face even without setting your whole face?

I was hoping w this review, the cc cream texture would be a lot like the old school Korean bb creams I used to use and it definitely does look and perform like it. However, deal breaker would be the foundation settling into my lines because I have very obvious smile lines and my expression lines are starting to get more obvious (I'm only 24, lord help me T-T). I wouldn't want my foundation to emphasise my already obvious expression lines.
Also, would you do a dedicated video to the whole Revolution duping and imitating higher end products? I personally feel that perhaps at the start, they did blatant dupe A LOT of popular high-end products. But nowadays, they still dupe high-end products but not as blatantly? And on top of that, expand the concept with their own flair? But that's just my opinion.
Does the Makeup Revolution one compare to IT CC cream.
No the IT CC is more similar to the Estee Lauder, so the Maybelline is a better dupe to that one also x

@@CharlotteHoldcroft honestly....the rose metal is better than modern renaissance. I cant recomend enough, the quality is so so high end. Please have a look! Honestly I wouldn't reccomend if I didnt believe in it!!!

If you can with all of the animal abuse in China / deadly viruses . Please mention which product is cruelty free .
Real beauty should Not come from Animal Abuse ..
MR are very adept at recreating packaging but the product inside is generally trash. Their concealer isn't bad but it's nothing groundbreaking. They annoy me greatly, it may be cheap but it's still a waste of money especially considering the volumes of stuff they bring out.
