    I have a question why is length of the ships limited to 399.50 mtr is there any specific reason for that can you explain
    Thanks

      @marineinsight  Год назад +9

      The Major reason is port infrastructure around the world(difficult to entertain bigger vessels) and Panama and Suez Canal restrictions.

    24 knots doesn't equal 44 miles an hour. Think you might have confused miles with kilometers

    Bro, can you imagine part of a new Metal Gear Solid game taking place on this ship? Harken back to the amazing tanker segment of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty! 💯👏👍💪😃

    70-80 rpm is very slow rotational speed. How can it reach 24knots with such a slow propeller rotational speed?

    • @zachmoyer1849
      @zachmoyer1849 4 месяца назад

      by spinning a massive propeller nearly 30ft in diameter weighing over 100 tons.

      "twenty foot equivalency units" the equivalent of 24,000 pcs, 20 foot containers. 12,000 if 40 ft. not sure 53' footers convert so easily.

    • @alexanderivkin7086
      @alexanderivkin7086 Год назад

      @@CuriousEarthMan 53 feet containers don't convert, because this is a North America land freight measure of lenght only. But yes 24000 TEU is 12000 FEU. You will not believe it, but it's real.
