Lechonk is the new wooloo, everyone fell in love instantly. Evolution for the little dude has big shoes to fill (I personally support the name Lechonky lol). Also definitely Violet first so far.

Kinda just further confirms the games are conflicting with each other via Past and Future. Hence Scarlet's renaissance style font, while Violet has that more sterilized sci-fi font.
As well as the Legends being closer to a Primal Dinos in Scarlet, and a High-tech Bioweapon like Genesect

They are indeed lizards, as the neck puffs they have is something lizards do when territorial or aggressive, and with the past vs future theme, they are probably rivaled against eachother over the region, since traditional vs modernization is basically a territory battle

I like purple so I was gonna pick Violet from the moment they were announced, now seeing the Legendaries my pick is solidified although the Scarlet legendary is extremely cool as well. I think they’re a extremely solid duo and I kinda am excited to see what a third member to turn it into a trio will be like.
Fair pick, honestly when I saw the first trailer I was totally gonna pick violet cause, purple, but the first thing that got me is that I preferred the stripe on the pants of the scarlet clothes. Idk why the violet are just plain with no stripes or anything, but I was still teetering on choosing violet..but the legends? I'm 100% getting scarlet, that legendary is so cool!

My mind when I saw the new poke stops: Periptido. It’s a news/snack/street shop thing that is ALL over Greece. They have similar stands in Europe cities. If they are basing this on France or Spain, it makes sense to have the poke stops be the street stands. Quick stop, get some healing, balls, and water, and keep running.

The Scarlet Legendary is absolutely one of the best we have seen in a while. It's just insane how the violet legendary still tops it.

The game is based in past and future. Sada is for pasado (past) and Turo is for futuro (future). The Scarlett legendary means it will be based in the past and the Violet one will be based in the future.
And also Sada is dressed like a cavewoman and Turo is dressed in sci-fi armor

Morbid fact, Lechon is what those full body cooked pigs you see in media are called so Lechonk is kinda dark of a name…while being adorably goofy at the same time.

I think the design for professor sada and legendary pokemon of scarlet are based on the era when the world wasn't much advanced and people weard clothes made out animal leather and fur and also necklaces made out of fangs while the design for professor turo and the legendary pokemon of violet could just be based on the more advanced and modern era with greater science and technology. It could just be true because professor sada is wearing a necklace made out of fang and koraidon also has some resemblance to that and if we look closely we can see that professor turo is wearing a sleek body suit underneath his lab coat and miraidon looks some what robotic itself. Well it's just what I think..
Pretty sure everyone is aware seeing as both the professors and the legendaries names mean in some way Past and Future.

So from what I’ve seen, the legendaries are representative of the polar opposites like they’ve done in the past, Scarlet’s represents Culture whereas Violet represents Technology, I AM SO HYPED

So it seems the theme with Scarlet/Violet is past and future, since the Scarlet legendary (Koraidon) has Korai (古来) on it's name, which is old, and the Violet Legendary (Miraidon) has Mirai (未来) which is future
Ok. so youre telling me that Pokemon Violet has:
-an actual Gigachad for a professor
-a futuristic theme
-a sickass hoverbike looking legendary that's an electric type, my favorite type
-and it's purple

In the trailer the rival asks "are you these THREE'S trainer?" Then instead of using a different starter than you do in the show off battle she has a different pokemon and the trainer cycles through the three starters. Is this to mean you can either choose or get all 3 in one playthrough without trading
Honestly violet Legendary looks like something you would find in Dragon Mania Legends and honestly it looks so over the top yet somehow still bland but the scarlet one looks like a tribal legendary and its colour combo smacks.

@@ultmewtwo depends on if each one includes different pokemon and variants (also maybe gyms like in sw and sh) so I can't be sure yet. For example, if they add Mudkip in Scarlet and Treeko in Violet then every1 gunna b buying Scarlet.

The red-panda thing is Pawmi,an Electric-Type and considering the type and its category as the mouse Pokemon,it's the new Pika-Clone.
The Budew-Knockoff is Smoliv,a Grass/Normal-Type
Lechonk is a Normal-Type and the legendaries are Koraidon for Scarlet and Miraidon for Violet

I'm hoping Violet becomes the more popular one, because I'm going Scarlet. And the less popular one usually drops in price more quickly.
I usually always pick the less popular game, I picked white 2 over black 2, y over x, and shield over sword. So I’m definitely picking scarlet cause it’s undoubtedly less popular than violet.

I'm guessing Miraidon (the cyborg) might either be Dragon/Steel, Dragon/Psychic, or Steel/Psychic.
Koraidon (the other one) might be either Dragon/Fairy, Dragon/Fighting, Dragon/Dark (coz it sounds like "kurai" which means "dark/gloomy") or Fairy/Fighting.
It just looks Fairy to me, with those antennae and pink/blue details.
The cyborg could be anything, really. Out of Dragon, Steel, Psychic or Electric, I mean.
The ancient one could be Dragon, Fairy, Fighting or Dark, though I actually don't think it will be Dark, so scratch that one.

Just one little detail. The dark part is unlikely, since it's a pun on 古来, which means ancient. And the dark type is more close to 'evil' type, so I say it's a leap.

If this has overworld multiplayer that will be awesome! Would love to see you do collabs with others like PointCrow et al. Actual overworld encounters + Pokemon in the overworld like Legends Arceus = VERY COOL!

@@eliasaittola6678 how about flying fire and electric steel? they make more sense. koraidon flying type because it has feathers and it looks like it can breathe fire (its also inspired by the quetzalcoatl which is a feathered serpent) and miraidon is electric steel because its literally electric and made out of steel. theses typings would make them weak to each other, which could balance things out (lets hope ones not faster than the other). by the way, both of the dragons are based on time travel, and the TRAVEL part is shown alot on their bodies, like the wheel, the rocket booster things, the handles, etc. (they both are vehicles)

The legendaries are astoundingly close to what Subjectively had proposed for concepts. The scarlet mascot looks like it represents traditionalism looking like an Aztec God, while the other represents modernism, looking and sounding like a machine

I hesitate so much between the two versions now. At first I was 100% Violet because I prefer this color much more compared to orange. And that's all we had to make our choice before this trailer . And I do prefer the Violet legendary, but between the past and future themes, I think I prefer past, and I totally prefer the Scarlet professor. So I dunno. If I can, I might get both.

For me it’s Scarlet, I was originally going too pick Scarlet anyway as Red is my favourite colour but now seeing the Legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Professor Sada hot damm it has fully convinced me too get Scarlet. I liked Miraidon too when I saw it but honestly I’m red bias plus that I do prefer more historical looks over futuristic looks (maybe if Miraidon was red and not including possible shiny here then maybe I could’ve been swayed but unfortunately for you Violet fans I can’t join, at least unless somehow the game is literally given too me or I somehow come up with the money too get both)

Those legendaries look like they told the artists from How to Train Your Dragon to design new yokai for Yokai Watch.
I always buy both versions and play the "blue" version first, so I'll be starting with Violet.
I like the way Sword and Shield handled non-legendary version exclusives best to be honest. They were still there to promote trading, but they were also in Max Raids so if you were patient enough you could join a raid hosted by the other game to catch them yourself. The Urshifu and Regi/Calyrex horse method of letting you chose which legend you want would be nice for them to make standard too, but I doubt they're going to do that.
The pokemon violet legendary is probably steel/ghost or steel/electric or steel/poison for me i hope its steel/poison with levitate

The Legendary's designs are based on bikes scarlet's legendary are those old long handlebars bikes while violet's is a hoverbike. both representing past and future.

According to the Pokemon official website the three route 1 pokemon shown are Pawmi the electric type pikaclone, Lachonk the normal type route 1 critter, and Smoliv a grass/normal olive pokemon. All of these are new pokemon. The Legendaries are Koraidon and Miraidon. Korai means past and Mirai means future. According to certain sources they are most likely Fighting Dragon and Electric Dragon. Though this hasn't been confirmed by the official website as of yet.

I honestly think Miraidon (violet legend) looks more aesthetically pleasing then Koraidon (scarlet legend) HOWEVER, Koraidon is beautiful is a abstract way, and I honestly love it’s prehistoric, dragon/dino-like appearance.

It feels like the voilet mascot legend is a sound type pokemon.
You CAN encounter other players in the Wild Area (and the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra if you have access to them) if you're connected to the internet. The rendering of it is kinda weird though (I've had player avatars disappear when I approached people as well as having people bike right through me). You can talk to people and they'll usually greet you and then give you some item, typically a curry ingredient. The greeting changes language depending on where the person is from though, as well as probably changing for time of day. (I know this cause I've often played late at night, and the only people I'll encounter are largely from Asia, due to the time difference).
I looked on the website you got scarlet correct with dragon fighting but violet is dragon electric. And there were no regional forms all are new Pokemon
