Finally: US Tests the NEW Super B-1 Lancer After Getting An Upgrade

The B-1 Lancer, affectionately known as the Bone to Air Force personnel, is arguably the most versatile bomber in US service. With the ability to carry a mind-boggling amount of ordnance, the Bone can level essentially any target anywhere in the world. But that is not all it can do. Thanks to some very interesting design features, the B-1 is the only bomber that can also serve alongside fighter aircraft. And if that were not enough, its use in Syria this year demonstrates that the Air Force's upgrades will make the aircraft relevant for years to come.
