Pro tip: Before you use the UV light, the screen protector can still be moved. Take a second and line up the hole punch so that's its centered to your liking and then use the UV light to cure the adhesive and secure it all in place.
My hole punch is slightly off center and when the face id light is on around the camera, it's noticeable and looks off.

If the jig was made properly and held the protector in place - the hole punch wouldn't need to be centered.

Just make sure to clean the front facing camera really well before the second cure so it’s easier to get any stray adhesive off

I've watched and heard about it so many times. Without exception, everyone in the Android forum recommended this glass. All RUclipsrs agree, bring a new video every year, swear by it and I thought it can't be. Everyone agrees, nobody says anything against it and when it comes to curved Displays, then Whitestone. So I bought it, although I had already gone through everything on curved glass and none of them, regardless of whether they were 10 or 40€, served their purpose. But Whitestone does his job damn well. Sticks perfectly, feels perfect, fingerprint works. I am just so excited about the product and would invariably recommend this one for Curved Displays👍❤️

I watched your video and I managed to install it on the first attempt .
I prepared everything, before starting and i had a desk lamp so i can spot any dust particles.
There was no glue on the phone's frame and nothing in the camera cutout.
I had a bit of glue overhang around the edges of the glass protector, but it rubbed off.
It works perfectly fine with Mous case.
I bought it from Amazon UK for £35, usually this brand would sell for £50, I'm glad it is cheaper now.
Piece of advice (from previous experience),if you noticed any bubbles or dust or any imperfections after the glass was installed and you aren't happy,do not remove the glass before cured it with uv light, otherwise it is a nightmare to clean the phone. UV light will harden the glue and it can easily rub off

I just followed this video and it worked great! I messed up the first time, but that was my own fault. The one thing I noticed you didn't mention was the little pads on either side that stop the glue from dripping. It didn't cause me any problems, but I had a little extra cleanup to do.
    Thanks for the great tutorial!

Ok. So I've been using this screen protector for 5 days now so here's a little review. For some reason this screen protector feels even better than the bare screen. It's so smooth and your finger literally glides across it. It's actually very surprising. Also, there were two different occasions where I was showing someone my new phone and they told me I should get a screen protector for it not knowing it already had one installed. The fit is that good and it doesn't look like a thick piece of glass on top of the screen like some other screen protectors look. You only notice it if you look by the camera. The one thing I don't really like about the protector is that I wish the sides extended slightly more. They barely just make it over the sides of the display to imo makes the screen seem less curved. However. I guess it needs to be that way to be case friendly but I just wish the protector was slightly wider. My second critique is about the little camera bar protector. No matter how careful you are, there will be bubbles. However, they disappear on their own over time. You cant even tell it's on there now.

I get what you mean. I'll tell you why with my feedback & tell me if you concur. The reason the tempered glass feels better than the actual screen is cuz the screen protector is liquid tempered glass (when dried). Even though the Pixel 7 Pro screen is gorilla glass from the factory, it doesn't really feel like glass.....it feels & sounds like plastic. I had to do research on it to make sure the Pixel 7 Pro screen was actually glass cuz as we all know, it just doesn't feel like it. But it is! The reason it doesn't feel like glass is cuz the screen on the Pixel 7 Pro is edge bonded (bonded/glued to the phone on the edges as to make new screen installation easier when the techs are working on replacing the screen) I had a Pixel 3 XL prior to this & the screen actually did feel like glass & that's cuz that phone (and most phones) is middle bonded which means it's bonded/glued at the middle of the phone. By middle bonding it, it gives the phone that more solid sounding reaction when tapping the screen as that's where most taps on a phone take place. With the edge mounted glass on the Pixel 7 Pro it gives it that hollow plasticky sound when tapping the screen. I personally don't like the feel of this new age gorilla glass on the 7 Pro but Google opted to go this route for easier uninstalling/reinstalling of a new screen if it's broken & needs replaced. Plus, it actually is more durable than say previous screens (ie: Pixel 3 XL) & will take more of a beating. It just doesn't feel solid or durable. By putting on this Whitestone tempered glass protector, a user gets that solid glass feel back. The iPhone 13 is like this too if you know of someone who has that phone....go ahead & touch their screen & it'll feel/sound just like the Pixel 7 Pro. Make sense?

Patience is the key to this one. Perfect fit if you follow instructions. Don’t forget to install the white foam bits on the side of the frame which this video misses out (but shows them already installed). The camera cut out is more fiddly to install than the screen protector though 😂

This was absolutely horrible for me... The first time I messed it up myself by managing to forget to add the rounded plastic part you added at 03:45. This caused a bubble to appear in the middle of the glue after dropping the glass on it, which apparently means you're instantly and definitively screwed, first 20 bucks down the drain. Burned through 6 alcohol wipes trying to get all of the adhesive goo off the phone - seemed impossible at first because it kept leaving ugly smears behind on the brand new 900 dollar phone - scary experience.
Went OK the second time and was actually 100% satisfied/happy with it. But one day later, with daylight I noticed some kind of white dust-like stuff on the top edge of the protector, I think it was stuck there due to some adhesive remnants. When trying to scrape it off with a fingernail, apparently the protector got lifted up a little bit and once again ugly bubbles/wrinkles were visible underneath the protector. Second protector ruined less than a day later, gone are the 40 bucks. Because apparently, with this expensive and overly complicated model, you actually can't rub bubbles out the way you can even with the cheapest AliExpress screen protectors.
Extremely tedious, frustrating and ultimately fruitless experience and all for nothing + 40 bucks down the drain. The edges aren't even rounded that much, why does this have to be so complicated instead of coming with pre-attached adhesive like any other screen protector? Man I wish there was a solid alternative for the Pixel 7 Pro. As someone mentioned, these screen protectors sure did come a long way, but I damn well hope they will go a lot further if this is the current way of installing them. Hate this freaking product.
Thanks for this video though, it was the only well-made thing about it.

I just installed this screen protector on my Pixel 7 Pro and it's amazing. It's virtually invisible on the phone and it doesn't impede the sensitivity of the screen. For me the adhesive did not go all the way to the bottom, so I tried again and with a new bottle of adhesive since they give you 3 and it did the same thing. What I did was apply pressure with my fingers for about 60 seconds to the glass screen protector at the bottom to squeeze out the air. The bubbles would then slowly start to reform, so I applied the pressure with 1 finger to keep it from coming back while hitting it with the UV, which cured to adhesive to the screen (did it twice on 15 second mode with my finger coming form different angles each time). The bubble did not come back after this!

I bought a "Coliary Premium" 9H tempered 3D glass screen protector for my Pixel 7 Pro and it doesn't come with all the bs like this one! Just clean the screen, peal the backing off the new glass and lay it on the existing screen. The rounded edges on screen allow the new glass to fall in place perfectly!

Its so annoying because I can see its off and because of that I can see a white line on the side of my phone from the screen protector being over the edge of the actual screen. Not to mention the fact that the stupid sticker to cover the speaker at the top broke and I had to use the second one so now I can't even use the second screen protector. I am so damn pissed off.

This is beyond stupid for something that is designed to take a hit. I can install a $5 glass screen protector in 20 seconds and it has ZERO risk of hurting my $900 device. What a joke.
