Whenever I see Burton live I feel like shaking him and telling him ''PLEASE SING IN KEY!!!!!'' Its amazing how much work must go into their studio work.
There are heaps of live shows of him singing in key. With the way he sings with so much distortion the vocal chords take a lot of damage so he is going to have some off nights at times cause his voice is probably not recovered from the previous show. Just enjoy the show mate and give Burton some praise for putting his chords under heaps of stress to give us a great show
They played pretty much the same set with Saliva opening for them in the middle of MSU campus in Springfield, MO. It was a free show, and these were my two favorite bands at the time when I was 18. Best concert ever!
Digimortal, Invisible Wounds, and No One ruled live! Why don't they play those 3 songs live anymore? Also this concert was very enjoyable to watch from start to finish. All 10 songs were preformed quite well. Of course Burton struggles with high cleans, he should stick to low/normal pitches. I really like how the full original band is in this performance. It sounds much better than their live performances nowadays.
One of the best things about FF is their raw, sloppy and polished performances at same time, I can't get enought of this band !! And waiting for Disrupt in 3 days 🔥🔥🔥🤘
Best vocalist ever!! Of course his vocals got worse by the years, he started in 1989 what do you expect. Wish I got this performance on cd or at least with better sound.
Thats not the reason, he literally says he getting drunk after the show in this very video, you do know that drinking after singing is like pouring rubbing alcohol on a wound right? Crusties it tf up
Goddamn, I absolutely love fear factory. They are one of my favorite bands of all time and I will always love them, but honestly these live clean vocals are so brutally out of key I wonder if they watched this after and were like "dude....what the fuck?" Its especially obvious on digimortal. I feel like Fear Factory would be much stronger with out Burton now a days, with the old line up at least. There are so many stronger vocalists out there that could deliver in the studio and live. Burtons voice will always be one of my favorites as far as on the albums go, but fucking christ he cant sing live to save his life.
lol no, he sucks more than burton. After Vol 3 he had a crash but was still doing his shit. You can hear his bad vox on the fourth Slipknot album and the second Stone sour. Damn that shit was terrible, if i would sound like this i would take a break to heal it
Andrew Shives, but he got kicked out for some reasons still unknown. He plays in a band called Paper Street I think, he never ever got into the spotlight again and to this day he's not really in the picture. You can't really compare him with the 1993 lineup after he got kicked out, he was in the band for a very short time. He never played any bass on the album itself, but he's listes on the liner notes.
Is that Ray drumming? Why does he have a problem keeping a consistent tempo at some points? I do admire the lack of a click track, but not when you clearly could benefit from it.
@@higler. coz he always messes up the demanufacture intro every live I've watched and recovers when the opening riff is played, pretty fucking weird if u ask me
***** eh, it's kind of hit and miss. There are plenty of times where he sounds great, other times not so much. I for one think his clean vocals are good here, even if they aren't actually very good by musician standards. He was never a particularly good singer... he just has a nice sounding voice... like Chino from Deftones. Not a traditionally good singer, but has a lovely voice.
How can any human maintain a voice like he has when recording a record during a live performance (and tour) when the bulk of their songs are a 1000% gutteral. You really can not. Burton is just unique in that he can do both...sing like a beast and then sing almost angelic....impossible to do both on a long tour and all the more over the years as he ages, the angelic tones are not going to be able to be sustained on a tour. As Bruno said, they should (and likely do now) use samplers, and as far as i am concerned that would not be cheating...because you can not expect human vocal cords to do what he does. Burton is awesome...FF is amazing. Hope he can keep performing for years to come. But it's got to be incredibly challenging when they go out on the road to tour.
i never said metal is a GIFT FROM A GOD, i just said that metal is better in europe well except for this band which is from California and there are other good bands from America aswell
i fucking LOVE fear factory and when demanufacture came out in the mid 90s i listen to it all the fucking time ... BUT OMFG burtons clean vocals live, the high notes are so so so awful !!
@@Casketkrusher_ A LOT of that album is Nu Metal dude. Linchpin pretty much has rapping in it too. Just look a Burton perform it here. But it's whatever. Obsolete already had strong elements of it, and Fear Factory were one of the grand daddies of the genre anyway.
love fear factory but burts voice has been fucked up from incorrect singing techniques for sooo long, mofucker damaged vocal chords. also dinos hitting some real bum notes or is major out of tune xDD
Would be the best still if Gene stayed with them full time. instead of playing for strapping Y. lad and Dethklock. Hoglan #1 .Followed by Dave Lombardo.
He's a real "hit or miss" live singer. Depending on the song and the day I find. I think the 2 best songs he did here were Invisible Wounds and Demanufacture. Other than them this was an okay concert. Digimortal was the weakest point for sure.
Burton, Dino, Christian, and Ray. The true Fear Factory line up 🤘🤘
i guess Im kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to watch new movies online?

@Emilio Lucca Thanks, I went there and it seems to work :D Appreciate it!

Banda foda demais!!! Cadê os fãs do Fear Factory do Brasil????
DemorÔ!!!
I cried to this live version of Invisible Wounds... always felt an absolute connection to that song. Thanks for the upload.
First FF song that started my adventure with them. It was Suture mix.
And the album version mix is awful, so this is a nice treat!
I will always credit Burton for the vocal blending, that helped me a lot when I was practicing
Burton is greatness!!! And it is awesome he help ya with that. He would be very proud.
+RAMARIO LAD yes :)
Demanufacture is just classic,... fucking crushing!
Yeah man I heard that!
Burton, Dino, Christian, Raymond are/were the TRUE Fear Factory!
burton/dino are the true FF, but demanufacture and soul of a new machine was their best era
Dino, Burton and Herrera, the best line up ever of factory. Greatness
Man, that double kick in What Will Become is so fast. FF has always had some insanely fast parts. So sick.
Solid lineup, best FF era, good memories 🤘🤘🤘
their nu metal era was their worst
FEAR FACTORY, with Burton and Dino... these guys are f*****c*kn great ... Great bad ass band... Awesome performance..
Awesome, I miss this Fear Factory. Such a great band with their original lineup.

It being at a festival doesn’t help. Sounds like there’s probably monitor issues, or no good sound onstage at all
Grande show, muito bom mesmo.
Obrigado pela postagem.
Saw them back in the day in Cincinnati at a small club. Still one of the best shows I've seen.
Thumbs up if anyone wanna see Christian olde Wolders back with fear factory !
resurrection was incredible
Invisible Wounds was also incredible
matt deathrage nice gains bruh
Dark Bodies is such a great tune, it's down the list when you think of FF songs but it's a fucking anthem.

A super heavy metal concert. Too bad Dino didn't like Raymond and said it was either him or Raymond. Raymond left and formed his own group.
Which ended up being subpar. :(

The best line up. The height of their career was 1995/2000. Bechdel and Fulber on keys
PPl need to realize rough vocals wear out ur voice. Burton does all the clean singing in the studio FIRST for that very reason.
