I have so many fond memories of the original Klonoa on PS1. I would always fill up my diapey while throwing my head back and letting out a triumphant "WAHOO!" for good measure.

I had just recently played through these games. I think they're both decent but way too short
Gotta disagree. They're short, sure, but they are also pefectly paced. Barring two remixed levels in the second game, no idea outstays its welcome.
@@lordshemp3324 I agree that the pacing is good, but it doesn't change the fact that you're paying 40 dollars for 2 very short experiences. The average time to get the platinum trophy for this collection is 10 hours. They're not bad games by any means, but after seeing how many people spoke positively of this series, the gameplay length left me a bit unsatisfied

This years boneyplays has been severly zlacking
Klonoa was the first game I ever bought with my own money.. right from FuncoLand..no jewel case, just a bright orange disposable paper CD pouch 😭
Considering that that the third season of digimon is easily the one that has made the most furries, even though is the best one story wise, if it failed to turn Chris into a furry I don't think anything that came after would had work on him.

I think I was 10-11 and I was sleeping over at my best friend's (of years) house when she showed me the new game her older brother got = GTA Vice City.
It blew my mind. I'd never played anything like it, and back then it looked so real to me.
I sat and played it for hours, at some point my friend just disappeared but I didn't notice until she came back with dinner.
I wasn't invited back over for months afterwards.
I remember going home and telling my big sister all about this amazing game, and we convinced our mum to get it for us soon after.

That last part of the video really makes me want to show them that Game Freak's been recycling the same Pokemon models and animations for a decade now, and on top of that they don't even do the modeling to begin with, it's outsourced to another company. It's that bad.

I actually still enjoy Pokémon even though I'm an old man on my 30's, the main campaign of the game is indeed simple in its challenge, but I like it as online game for the battles and the coop modest they added since sword and shield have been fun, I like tera raids specially the 7 star ones because figuring how to beat is like a pulse and you can't beat the high level ones with just the rock paper season mechanic, the combat system is more complex than just knowing type advantages, it requires knowledge of stats and mechanics well know by the community but that the game never teaches directly to the player.
As for the single player campaign, I guess the writings in the last generation has improve considerably and the games have very superficially touch in themes like dysfunctional families, but I think what mostly what makes me enjoy it is getting to catch, see and experiment with new pokemon.
About most of the community complaining, well most the community agree the games have issues and need longer development cicles, not necessarily to have high end graphic but at least not come out as a functional broken mess like SV did (the game still has performance issues but a lot of bug have already been fixed since the release), the complainer may seem like the majority but in reality they are a loud minority, that happens because even the people that genuinely like the games will barely enjoy the games cant comfortably defend them (unless the critique is made up like has happen in the past), when since the last 2 gen a lot of those complain have been valid.
