"decade old game" Toontown Rewritten was released in 2017 lmao. You're confusing it with Toontown Online, which was a different game.

If a game asks you for your pronouns that is a indicator that it will either suck ass through a straw or the people playing are the spurgiest spastics and should be given a wide birth. Or both like this game.@@montelblair7273

i’ve never played toontown but i get the feeling those cat players in the central hub named stuff like Avalon and Apathy are the sorts you find on mmos who stand in a line wearing matching expensive/rare cosmetics and just idle for hours

43:50 one of the funniest things most people who didn't play this game won't pick up on here is that only ONE PLAYER CAN TALK TO AN NPC AT A TIME, this dialogue you see here between the dog and the monkey is being shown to everyone else, there aren't separate instances with every player simultaneously talking to this NPC - hence why there are like three people running around the desk losing their shit at this monkey who is holding up the line - the same thing happens in gag shops and with other NPCs like you're in an actual queue at a store and its such a funny design choice

So I played this back when it first came out and I was 8 at the time.
I met another toon on there named Chester Whiskerbocker and we instantly became friends through the speed chat system (at the time you couldn’t text chat) so a few years later when I’m about 13 or a little younger I go on again and we meet again but sadly I never got his info. CHESTER WHISKERBOCKER YOU WERE A BROWN BUNNY AND I WAS A GREEN BUNNY NAMED LOONY ELECTROGADGET. HELP ME DISCOVER WHO THIS PERSON IS I FEEL LIKE I MISSED OUT ON A BEST FRIEND!!

Sometimes I just sit outside and look at the stars until the sun comes up. There, in their scintillating beauty, I get to thinking just how small we are in the face of such cold, unchanging universal agents. Agents like oneyplays. That’s why I still watch. It makes me feel like I’m worth something. Like I’m a part of something that matters. Of course, I always run out of stuff to watch and I’m left with the grim reality that I am a supplicant, a thrall to these great beings whom operate on levels I can’t imagine. Time is a flat circle, I’ll be there again, in that cold place. Until then I’m going to watch some grown men play toontown

He climbed out of the screen and fell onto the ground, he laid there for a moment face down, the drool pouring from his mouth became hyper realistic and pooled around him. In both of his hands were already fully peeled bananas, who peels a banana and holds it like that, let alone two?
Anyways it's there being held tightly in his hands with a firm grip, bits of mushed banana can be seen oozing through his fingers. A moment passes and his head moves, he looks towards me with ill intent in his eyes and says "Dees bananas are mine and I don't want to share them!" then he gets up and runs out the door, he slips on one of the bananas as he dropped it while running away and lays there for a moment, more realistic drool pours from his mouth onto the floor. Then continues to run, off he goes back into the forest. I sat there stunned, wondering if what I just witnessed even happened before my very eyes or if I'd just imagined the whole thing. Like seriously who holds a banana like that, that's really fucking weird.

It's likely inspired since it first came out in 2008. Also when TTO closed players were offered a month of membership I believe but I could be wrong. I joined W101 in 2011.
I’ve actually recently been playing this game after not having touched Toontown since I was a kid. Had no idea that Oney and the gang had played this at all
This and Lispeak’s video on it. Convinced me to give it a shot and I’m now kinda addicted.

Are you referring to videos like Chocolate Jelly River, or are you mistyping his tutorial videos he released for Blender? Either way he's not interested in putting forth that kind of effort right now, we don't even get oneyplays re-released compilations but a few times a week, and both of their active series right now are games that Chris has played on the channel before. Hell, Dark Souls was played twice before the current run.

I would make fun of Corey for not knowing how to use the map, but I’m in the exact same boat as him. I never played this as a kid and when I finally did recently, it took me about a week to realize I could fast travel lol. I didn’t even know there were multiple areas to explore, I thought it was just the one street full of cogs

Probably. They don't seem to enjoy the gameplay or combat. It also took them until the last couple minutes of their second episode of this game to reach even the first stage of the gag training task, so maybe it's just too difficult for them.
Even the editor doesnt know that Cory's name doesnt have an E in it.
