I was hoping you were going to go into detail on the science behind what a regular versus a charcoal filter can do but that was never mentioned. Also I was hoping you were going to share the pros and cons of each. Other then that, I appreciate what you shared.
Hi and thanks for watching. I have always used the regular filters in my 2006 Toyota Corolla. I think the next time I change it though I am going to use the Charcoal.
ive tried the charcoal and the pm2.5 type and honestly, the pm2.5 one does affect ur aircond air flow, meaning u need to turn ur ac harder to make the cabin more comfortable..i can feel the difference between the charcoal and the pm2.5 one namely that the 2.5 one is thicker/dense...i honestly prefer to use tge standard one and replace them often rather than using all these marketing gimmicks to rip consumer off...
I agree, replaced my OEM filter with a carbon filter and it cut the airflow almost in half with a substantial reduction in cooling. Will be going back to a standard filter asap!

I was hoping you'd test whether the carbon filter restricted air flow like the HEPA filters do
I have a 2016 Corolla got the carbon filter since I live near farmland hope it helps reduces the poop smell
Which do u prefer?
