Some clarifications as to WHY these weapons are bad + misc stuff Blobblober - It's bad because it's inconsistent and its kit sucks, but IMO it's not the worst, maybe low C tier or high/mid D tier. The blobs are SLOW and never one shot, but it can be a "nuisance at times" (spoiler alert: it sucks at doing this as well lmao). Also sprinkler is hot ass though rain isn't TERRIBLE for it (at least to my knowledge) Bamboozler: Ok this is the only weapon here that I can objectively say is NOT bad, just really hard to use. The think that's unique about it is that it's a support charger - it doesn't kill, its sub and special are both kitted towards snuffing out enemies, etc. Also remember that this is a midliner, not a skirmisher - it doesn't run in, it hangs back, sort of how a Pro would play. Minor thing that I also want to add - when MPU was added in Splatoon 2 bamboo actually became insanely terrifying and the best charger because it could oneshot lol Brush nouveau: To understand why this is considered bad, let's take a trip back to early Splatoon 2 meta. Back then, brush nouveau had ink mines and baller - a similar enough kit, but why was it so dominant then? Simple - run in, skirmish, spam mines, get out with baller. Nowadays's brush nouveau has mines, yes, but it has a special that can't get it out - stamp. If it had kraken or something I could see it becoming a strong niche pick but since it can't run in and minespam... it just sucks now lol Side tangent, run speed does not affect brush movement speed :) Reeflux: Main weapon is shit lmao. It isn't even the best at preforming its niche - if you really want a missile spammer, pick flingza or something idk. Even still, missiles were gutted bc of the cooldown and crab reigns supreme (although the recent patch kinda changed that so...?) Speaking of the recent patch, I honestly don't really know if it helped reeflux since I haven't had the time to play with it but from what I've read it seems to have made the main weapon ok to at least some degree? Idk. Also curling does nothing for it lmao Clash neo: second worst killtime in the game compounding the already bad issue of no range, horrid paint, laughable kit synergy... yeah. Clash needs a poking bomb, not curling, and Chump works for weapons that can ACTUALLY CAPITALIZE ON THE DISTRACTION. I don't have anything else to say, if you want an actually good blaster play range or rapid deco idk Dapple nouveau: You know that one song, "Anything you can do I can do better?" yeah imagine that but it's dapple nouveau and tetras. Seriously, identical kits + tetras is just singly better in every way - range, mobility, general POTENTIAL... Dapple nouveau isn't bad, it's just outclassed Undercover: yeah no explanation here lmao Honorable mentions as to what I feel are the worst - Vanilla carbon roller - literally what makes the carbon good is burst bomb combos. Without it, the weapon is shit lmao Vanilla sploosh AND sploosh neo - sploosh has pissy range and a complete inability to challenge literally any weapon that walks away from it. Both have terrible specials, and their only niche of stupid object damage is entirely outclassed by the splatanas H3 - The only reason H3 was good in Splat 2 was because of armor. Without that, AND with a useless kit, it just sucks lmao Snipewriter - why use when are can use Z+F/Elitre. Also it's object damage is ass even with the buffs, it can't store a charge, its kit is AWFUL... Aerospray MG - The entire point of the aero is to spam specials. Why put a special that not only is bad but can't be spammed on it? Ask Nintendo, not me Gloogas - Parroting what I've heard comp dualie players say, most of them find it inconsistent and weird. 52 gal outclasses it in almost every way.
