I’m more or less doing that. I have gamepass on PC which has come with 2042 and it’s been how I’ve played the game for the past 2yrs. Last EA game I bought was Jedi Survivor which was WELL worth the $$. Other than that I don’t engage with any of their live services and I have no interest in their newer games

they also added new and exciting bugs. For example, if your entire squad is dead in TDM the random spawn option sometimes doesn't work and you can't spawn. You have to press ESC and go back to the spawn screen and just then are you able to select the random spawn. Also navigating your respawn options with W and S sometimes doesn't work at all. There are also now certain spots in maps that cause FPS drops the first time you walk through them in a match for no reason at all. Not the biggest issues of all time, but it makes me wonder what kind of gigantic mess the code of this game must be.

Thank God you can pierce Dozer’s shield with small arms now. But if you shoot it with a vehicle weapon, the shield is made out of vibranium. DICE can implement nukes into this game, you would need *2 of them to kill 1 infantry and 3 of them to kill 1 Dozer* .

I feel like at the absolute best this game would only be as good as BF3-4, and I mean at it's absolute best in every single way. I think that will be a major problem, is that even if it somehow pulls a miracle and makes a completely solid game, it still will only be something we've already seen before with a fancy new skin. Even if the graphics looked better than the older BF games they'd probably only look as good as any current game, whereas BF3 blew every other game out of the water with how good it looked. Every other aspect of the game like map design, gunplay, destruction, and movement will probably feel a bit mid, as even if they're well made are they really going to raise the bar? Or just barely reach it...? The developers who worked on the older titles were focused on innovation and improvements, I feel like the developers now would only just be able to copy and paste what's already been done at best, but to be honest I don't even think they could do that either seeing how their last two games went lmao...and especially with how they handled them.

Regarding Delta Force, I think it's too early to draw conclusions, I'll wait for them to start vomiting to really see what's inside their stomachs. Can't blame you for feeling that way, Team Jade wasn't in the limelight until Delta Force got shown a year ago, plus they're under Tencent, ,which has a bad reputation in the gaming world. Though credits should be given to the dev team there for making a decent fps game, it doesn't look like it has it's own style and soul yet, and looks too similar to Battlefield. Only time will show how far the game can go
Those Dozer changes as SOOOO OVERDUE. Another thing reminding me how little they cared about the player base that was asking for something like that for 3 YEARS now. They even mocking us by acknowledging this by stating "...over the years with BF2042, have consistently seen players raise concerns about Dozer's efficiency...". They should have added ... "and so far, we chose to completely ignore them"... This honestly makes me really angry. And I think this anger is justified.

What killed them is that they weren't great games, lol. Did you play either of them? Bad maps, shipping without staple features, bugs, a lack of content, balance issues - these are all game design choices, not 'DEI initiatives', combine that with poor PR and you get the mess that was 2042.

the thing is, even if the new BF will be good, will it be enough for people to bother paying 70$ when they can play a game like delta force for free? It's not 2011 where people saw destruction and were like wow. They really have to step up their game
I feel like at the absolute best this game would only be as good as BF3-4, and I mean at it's absolute best in every single way. I think that will be a major problem, is that even if it somehow pulls a miracle and makes a completely solid game, it still will only be something we've already seen before with a fancy new skin. Even if the graphics looked better than the older BF games they'd probably only look as good as any current game, whereas BF3 blew every other game out of the water with how good it looked. Every other aspect of the game like map design, gunplay, destruction, and movement will probably feel a bit mid, as even if they're well made are they really going to raise the bar? Or just barely reach it...?
The developers who worked on the older titles were focused on innovation and improvements, I feel like the developers now would only just be able to copy and paste what's already been done at best, but to be honest I don't even think they could do that either seeing how their last two games went lmao...and especially with how they handled them.

I have been playing battlefield since 2013 and when I hear things such as empowerment, diversity and innovation it really turns me off. Yeah if they were saying those things after the back to back bangers that were battlefield 3 and 4 I would be excited but every time they said words like those we have gotten mid game. If EA and DICE want to print all they have to do is re make battlefield 4 with modern movement and new maps.
