Braunton Heads The Final Charters Of 2020

Hello & Welcome to Harnetty Railways
In this last brand new content of 2020 we see Jeremy Hosking's West Country bulleid pacific 34046 Braunton working the final 2 steam hauled charter trips of the year.
These 2 trips were planned to be hauled by fellow Hosking machine 46100 Royal Scot however that was changed to 34046 Braunton instead much to my delight as I didn't have a decent filmings of 34046 all year.
We start with Thursday's Saphos Train's The Pennine Moors Christmas Explorer on a circular trip from Crewe outward via the WCML & back over Copy Pit.
We 1st see 34046 passing through Winwick Junction while accelerating away from Warrington Bank Quay after a passenger pick up.
We head off to Copy Pit to see Braunton despite being diesel assisted climb to the summit from the eastern side of Copy Pit which rounds off Thursday's outing.
The final trip of the year once again with Saphos Trains this time The Chrisrmas White Rose from Crewe to York & return.
We 1st see Braunton in fine fettle through Hartford after taking over from Diesel haulage at Crewe which a pair of 47's top & tailed the train from Telford Central that morning via Shrewsbury.
Originally planned to get 34046 Braunton on Platform 1 but was changed last minute & a gd job as 4 seconds after Braunton's train cleared the platform the heavily delayed Caledonian Sleeper train bound for Euston passed by.
My final daytime shot of 2020 was in the Peak District with less diesel assistance this time 34046 Braunton climbing to Cowburn Tunnel.
We finish this content at Newton-Le-Willows in darkness as we see 34046 Braunton arrive to drop off passengers before departing back to Crewe were diesel haulage would take over for the run back to Telford Central.
