It's not often that the Sea Wall features two steam tours on the same day, but when they do it's always a treat to see!
1. Seen making a spectacular second run on the 'Torbay Express' is rebuilt Southern Railway West Country Pacific number 34046 'Braunton', seen skimming along the Sea Wall at Dawlish with the down service from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear.
2. 25 minutes after Braunton, London, Midland & Scottish Stanier Black 5 number 44932 is seen powering away from the stop at Dawlish Warren through Dawlish station with the southbound Royal Duchy from Bristol Temple Meads to Par.

Magic shot of Braunton through the tunnel. Lovely to see the two loco's but what a difference between them. Great stuff Rory . All the best...Tim.
Superb action from the sea wall Rory. Very well produced. Jeff.
Thank you very much, Braunton was certainly making some noise! :D
Thank you very much Tim! :D
Thank you! :D
Two tours in one! Great work! Love the new camera location at the end!
Thank you once again sir, yes poor old 44932 was certainly sounding asthmatic today :)
Thank you very much! :D
Thanks very much! :D
Thanks! :D
Very nice Rory...cheers Steve..
Thanks :D
Excellent shots. Like that dawlish viewpoint looks good disappearing into the tunnel. Hearing 44932 was in trouble a bit on return
Thank you very much, apparently they left the Class 47 behind at Newton Abbot, it's still sitting in Hackney Yard as of 07:45am :P
Your shots excel as usual mate. I was intending to head for Newton myself but got up too late cos I was out filming the night trains returning from the Dartmouth Regatta and didn't get in til gone 11. I did manage to get up for Braunton though!
Thanks again Mark! :D
Lovely vid mate :P
A very long overdue like! Just can't beat that location, can you?
. . . and I was expecting a literal collapse of Infrastrucutre.
Hey all of you who thought 44932 wasn't to good when she passed was because steam out of somewhere at the front was coming out with a funny noise so it wasn't ill
Is it train sim or real life
The second one sounded like my wheezy chest.
Why the misleading title? Click bait?
Poetic licence?
