A short trip back to the recent past, for a round-up on what's been covered this year. The year in statistics; 42 Visits to railways and tramways, 19 railtours, 10 Galas, 6 Then & Nows, 85+ Level crossings, 2 Footplate rides and much more. I’ve also gone through 2 tripods! It’s been a fantastic first year. My favourite shot of the year is 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley leaving Kingswear on June 3rd (the thumbnail). That shot is in my favourite film of the year ‘Too Much Pressure’. Another of my favourites to film was 45569 Galatea - someone joined me on the right day for that - as well as ‘Cornish China clay - end of an era’ & the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. It's not over yet, there is still the South Devon Railways Winter Steam Gala next weekend, but it's Christmas and time to put something out to finish the year off with.
I’m probably going to soft-pedal it at the start of next year. I’ve made 73 films this year, and whilst I can do another 73 next year, I’m going to put a bit less emphasis on putting a film out because it has been a week, and more on what I want to make. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if I did more, there's a lot to look forward to, and a lot in ‘le plan’. Anyways, starting in February 2023, and in chronological order, shots were taken at:

Well what a cracking video so much happening in 2023 not all of it I saw but loved the last shots of the train of lights on Pdsr but all of it was good,thanks for showing us this.

Totally riveting, hope your stunning work goes around the globe, showing how the UK has improved everybody's lives, no transport system will ever improve on steam trains, hopefully one day we will invent automatically mined clean coal, then we can two-finger oil!
Just as an aside, where be 'Sea Lane level crossing'? Even google is beat!
