I was in your country many years ago, 1965 - '66, on Con Son Island. I met many of the prisoners from the prison camp there, and we loved them all. It is wonderous seeing Vietnam being so prosperous and industrious. God bless you all!! 👍❤🇺🇸🇻🇳
I left VN in '75 a young kid and still remember the island was called Con Son. However, since the commies took over they changed to a different name and i have no clue what's presently being called. Doctor meets pharmacist. How appropriate.
@@tdeaux I was 21 years old when I was there. It was terrible how the prison guards treated their own people. Most were Communist from the North, but they were still Vietnamese. We gave them our cigarettes that came in our meals, and treated them as fellow humans. We were treated to a banquet when we were done. It was terrific! And we were "enemies"! Actually, we are all family!

I did some checking and you’re right. Diesel is US$3.80 a gallon and gasoline is US$2.60 a gallon. Figure the pumps alone probably us approximately 3 gallons per hour and the boat power uses about 5 gph you’re looking at fuel cost of about US$30 per hour. The margins are thin. My biggest concern is the young man wetting the sand to be pumped. If that load shifted, like the mound falls down, he could be seriously injured if just his legs were to be covered in the sand. That stuff compresses tissue and kills it which starts the kidneys failing even if only buried for a short time.

@@blauer2551 it’s not a load bearing foundation it’s a self levelling free draining mechanically setting floor. It is certainly effective on any firm surface such as a clay pan, and this kind of surfacing is common in traditional buildings all over the world. I made one in my barn, and embedded round river stones in it to make a durable cobbled surface.

Please show the video of the three small wooden tugboats going up the river next to the houses, going past a big barge, the popular blue one, the light colored one with the red railings and the brown one. It ends with the brown tug towing a large fishing boat- I love your videos. I like watching the very simply built wooden tugs with the large hole in the inside with the Cummons diesel installed- somtimes they help the heavy boats through the dam under the bridge-

A solid surface under the floor, no concrete needed the sharp sand will go solid by itself. Very impressive system
