Thanks for the ship review. We usually look for longer cruises so we probably won’t be on these large ships anytime soon but it’s good to know what’s out there. Thanks.
The short itinerary on Utopia is the worst part. It’s the strategy that Royal is using to get new cruisers. We also prefer longer cruises and we’re apprehensive about booking Utopia in the beginning because of that. 4 days just isn’t enough.
@@letsgetwanderlost Yup. We book cruises based on the itinerary and the ship is a secondary concern. We’ve sailed the Allure and are on Odyssey in a couple weeks. That’ll be as close to Utopia that we’ll get for a while 😁
@scottandtracytraveling we sort of do the same thing. We will find the ports we want to go to and then see if the ship we want to sail on will go there and adjust our plans accordingly. There are some itineraries where the ship absolutely doesn’t matter but for the Caribbean it’s usually a big factor if we’re gonna book or not.
@@letsgetwanderlost I can definitely understand it for the Caribbean because of the many options. However, our most recent Caribbean Cruise was on the Norwegian Jade because it was a somewhat unique 14 night that included a lot of the Southern islands that we hadn’t been to. It’s the most recent cruise video on our channel.
Thanks for the review. My husband and i are booked on utopia of the Seas, in April 2026. Very informative. Thanks.
Thank you for watching! Utopia was a great time, did yall select the 3 or 4 night itinerary?
4 day
@lauribennett3063 that’s exactly what we did. Should be a great time.
