The needlepoint picture is wonderful.
Blue is the color of the day!!!
I sold on eBay for years from day one . I came so obsessed with going to thrift stores I spent money on a lot of junk that never sold . If a day went by I didn’t go I would actually have a panic attack. It almost ruined my life and my family hardly spoke to me . Make sure you don’t get hung up in things to much 😮
I've been watching Karen for a while and don't think she's going to get hung up- she has no "death pile", everything is cleaned, listed and organized. I'd like to be her when I grow up except that I'm already older than she.
That's great advice for new resellers...I like watching Karen because she's been doing it for 10+ years and can teach us so much.
Hippie Girl, I am the same way. If I don't make a sale each day I panic. I also get really anxious if I can't get out to source frequently. I hope you made more money than you spent and didn't get burned overall.
I can relate Hippie Girl. When I first started reselling ten years ago I became too consumed with it. I even gave up my three mile a day walk because I was too busy. I’m no longer like that even though I still enjoy it very much, I’ve learned to keep it in balance. Fortunately my husband and I aren’t dependent on my income even though it can be profitable.
Take what you like and leave, heave, toss the rest:
A competitive, go-getter, type A personality would do well in reselling and enjoy the chase. Over time, as habits form, thrifting can become therapy. My late dear friend used thrift shopping (not a reseller) as affordable therapy. She was a therapist and was well aware of her choice and actions.
The “Ka-ching” cash register sound is highly addictive! I read an article about it last year. Probably releases endorphins. I noticed the thrill of that sound and the slight let-down when it didn’t happen. Noticing how it made me feel was important. I’m a laid back person and enjoying the process of whatever I do is a requirement.
I do love leisurely hours of enjoyable thrifting. Especially without the pressure of needing rent money.
Not everyone needs to be warned off a pastime or career they enjoy - if they are healthy in body, mind and spirit (it’s pretty obvious Karen is in that category).
I’m amazed with what you found! Great taste
I LOVE THE SURPRISE JEWLERY HAUL!!! almost an hour of Karen's magic YES PLEASE!!! 🎩 ✨️ ❤️❤️
Oh those VINTAGE filas are worth money GF!!! Highly sought after at least in Canada where I am! ! Those were in great shape too!!
The needlepoint is the best 🎉

The black beaded necklace…try using the word “jets” in your research. My mom has several strands from the 50’s/60’s…Happy New Year, Karen!
Happy New Year Karen! Starting my New Year out right with Karen Lavender Clothesline & Coffee!
It could be a Club! Lol!
What a great little Thrift Store!
I can't get over their general pricing = jewelry & belts! So fun!
Wishing 2023 is full of Joy, Good Health & Success!

I have a ball like the one you just picked up, and it is an oil light with a wick witch that one did not have. I love that lady with the flower for her hair on your table.
The elephant has his trunk down
LOVE going along, thrifting with you!! Happy 2023! May the new year bring many great sales your way!💕
I was in my local Goodwill the other day. A man and a woman were hovering near the door to the back. A woman wheels a cart out and says "here you are" to the female customer who proceeds to grab, grab, grab every new in bubble package toy on the cart. The man, who had done his own grabbing and who she didn't appear to be with, then started giving her advice on what the selling price for these items would be. It was a real turnoff to see the Goodwill employee obviously working with a reseller like that. This was in Hazlet NJ.
The pink ceramic rose pin set might be 1928 jewelry. If there is swirling on back, that is a tell tale sign
Happy New Year Karen! Happy and blessed to start the year with you. 🙂Happy, healthy, and prosperous new year to you and everyone else watching.
God bless! ❤️
Fin, Fur and Feather trading post used to sell those beaded belts in the 1970's. Used to get one every summer when we visited relatives in Pennsylvania.
Happy New Year! That gold tone, chunky, lightweight necklace is vintage. My aunt had the necklace and bracelet set. I chose them from her estate and I have had them for over twenty years.
At 4:52 that glass bulb is an oil lamp, might be from Czechoslovakia. There is a glass piece that holds the long wick. You can still buy the wick holder. It's a glass tube the flares out a bit to hold it from falling in the container. The reason is suggest this country because I have a couple of these types and there was a sticker on the bottom so this one could have lost it sticker.
We moved up to this little town in central Florida almost two years ago. It is a treasure trove of thrift shops! Thanks for your videos. Would love advice on shipping.
Happy New Year Karen
Great finds, interesting EBay sales.
Happy New Year Karen! Your business success is so inspiring...keep taking what is yours!
@Messa_me_lavender_clothesline
Hello Karen!
I just saw your latest video...excellent as always! Hope you have a great time in Florida! I am a Floridian too...but I now live in Maryland... Thanks to you ....I started reselling on eBay in Oct as a part-timer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and story...truly inspiring!
What a beautiful piece of art by your daughter. I’m in awe!
I am glad you mentioned the fact how Goodwill is separating matching items and selling them separately. I noticed that as well. Their prices are also slowly rising higher and higher. I am rather disappointed in that fact. I often wonder if their profits really go to the good causes they claim to support or rather to the executes themselves?
That store has some nice stuff. ☺
Wow! You got some fantastic deals! I enjoyed the trunk and jewelry hauls too. I especially liked the part at the end showing pieces that made allot of money!
Happy new year!
Oh that Hutch style cabinet! Gorgeous!
Love the jewelry wow
Karen, the jewelry items you found are wonderful. I hope you sell it all!

Awesome sales, Miss Karen! You motivate me to do more listing!😊
Happy New Year Karen to you and your family. Love the high dollar show and tell.
Karen, what a great video, so well done. Happy New Year.
I was in Mount Joy for Christmas and shopped in Mount Joy Thrift and Gift. Nice store. They had a number of things that were silent auction. I’ve never seen that in a store before. While I was not there the day Karen was, I did meet her in Goodwill, (I think I was in Lancaster). It was so nice to meet you Karen! Cathy
Great video Karen. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have that pair of shoes/boots. The cheetah and black. I bought mine at TJ Maxx . Can't remember what I paid, but I wear them all the time. I love them.

Lovely video again Karen💜 such a sweet little shop with great bargains you honed in on! Loved the truck haul and the jewelry “show” and that gorgeous tablescape you put together! Have a most wonderful time off, hug to you and Mellissa🌴🌊❤
Oh my,such treasures, what great jewelry finds, love the Lilly of the Valley, love the ending, such fun, thank you,God Bless your New Year.
That round fish plate was carved from soapstone and made in Africa. I bought a similar one years ago at a church fundraiser. They were working with a particular village, I think probably in Kenya but I could be wrong. It’s kisii soapstone. I think you did good to leave it for 12 bucks but if I had seen it for under five or six I probably would’ve bought it. I paid $20 retail for mine probably 10 years ago.
I love your thumb ring beautiful! What awesome pieces of jewelry you have a great eye for jewelry! Hope you and Roger had a wonderful Christmas and hope "Santa spoiled you" although you have Girl power and can spoiled yourself! Hope 2023 is awesome for you and your family including Roger!
Great local business for you to support! For the most part their prices seem more reasonable than the Goodwill's you frequent! Thanks for taking us shopping and for the entire video!!
Hello 🤗.. thank you for this video
Love Love jewelry. Yard sales are my favorite.
Your idea to buy all the jewelry at 75% off was good. Stocking stuffers! 🎉 might have gotten another 10% off.
I’m not an expert and I would take hours researching those at home.
Happy New Year and thank you for entertaining as well as educating us for the last several years! You have been an inspiration and just adorable!!
Agree,she is so adorable.
From pictures of my sisters in the 40's they wear litte coat sets like the pink one you picked up. Nice find.
Love, Love the butterfly and flower ring! 🌼
P.S. in Florida!
Happy New Year! I’ve learned so much from watching your videos this year. Enjoy Florida 🌞
Love your jewelry haul, Karen, but my faves are the blush/taupe pearl necklace and earrings, garnet-colored necklace and the blue/white teardrop glass necklace! Amazing sales as well! Happy New Year to you and everyone!
Your hair looks fabulous!
Happy New Year, Karen. Thanks for including the high thrift finds. I don't look at Instagram.
I don't think we have ever seen you buy so many small items, fewelry, belts. Very interesting....you usually go for larger items. Hope everything sells well for you. Happy New Year!
Just subscribed! Love the way you share your knowledge. I also love when you show what you paid for something and what you sold it for! Thanks! Oh, also your voice is pleasant and soothing!! Great job!
Great finds...particularly with the jewelry.
I think so too! 💜💜😘
I’m at that same store a couple of times a month. I’m not a reseller. Because of the holiday
I missed that jewelry sale. You got a lot of great pieces. Happy New Years 👍💜
You have such a soothing, melodious voice! I would love to find a video where you talk about how you sell your finds!
Fabulous 👌 👏 👍
Love your videos happy new years beautiful jewelery .
Happy New Year to you, Roger and your family. I wish great health and prosperity in 2023!!!🎉
I loved all of the jewelry but was really hoping to see what was in the bags!
Hi Karen! Happy New Year! I really loved this video because it was a mix of shopping, haul and big profit what solds.....I really learn from the What Sold videos - I never heard of that Rail brand, but now will research it and be on the lookout! Thanks for all of your tips....
Cc is charming Charlie on the necklace
You have such exquisite taste I love watching your videos. I wish I could remember everything you share as you have so much knowledge. Thanks for all you do:)
Happy New Year! You are an inspiration to so many!! I have learned so much from you over the past two years that I’ve been reselling!! 🎉🎉
Thank you so much! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Karen! Love seeing your thrift hauls. I wish we had such nice things in my area. I could be wrong, but am wondering if the pretty butterfly and flower ring is actually an ornament to dress up a ponytail? Something to cover up the ponytail elastic? You always find so many pretty things.
Happy new year, and thank you for all the good content. Your videos are worthwhile, with great content, and a pleasant "host".
No Boundaries is a Walmart brand. A very trendy and it sells well for me as long as I don't pay too much for it.
Your New England sure comes out, when you say words like: Lobster Claw. 🙂
great crafted video karen...plz motivate melisa to keep hers coming when shes able!!!
Boot wear: Sometimes you can “read” the wearer’s activity when you look at a boot, like the wear from saddle stirrups. When I was a teen, back in the 70s, I used to get a wear spot to the top of my left boot, back a bit from the toe because the shifter on my dirt bike motorcycle was on that side and it shifted both up and down. To shift up, you put your toe under the lever and pivoted it up. Over time it left it’s mark.
What a nice shop. Lots of good quality things reasonably priced. Happy New year Karen. "Go out and get what used to be in my home" lol
Lol
I have had so many yards sales after I stopped doing markets. I always say , "Please pick up what is yours.". Most people laugh or chuckle, but they start picking out stuff. They constantly ask me where my shop is. They always say what nice stuff I have. I have been a thrifter since I was 16 and got my license. I have always had a good eye for stuff.
@@donnasellers4273 lol funny. Nice to get rid of things you don't need anymore.
Seed bead belts are tiny, because beading takes days to complete one belt.
Walmart I think makes no boundaries
I am on saxenda at $400 a month (Australia) I can only afford this by reselling. My self rule is I must make at least 40$ profit. It keeps the watch real the junk low and the challenge real. My best go to items are leather vintage belts, the odd book set, and cast iron cookware. I use fb market place as well .
What a great little shop! Wish I had one of those near me! I think the flower and butterfly "ring" is actually for scarves. But why not wear it as a ring - its so pretty!
