Capturing cool bits & pieces as I transfer my 70s&80s+ VHS collection from tape to Mac. Enjoy! (All rights respected. Sharing for pleasure and not for any financial gain. Happy to remove if requested)
I had never seen this live. It's fantastic.
I was 6.
English poeple have a definitivly special relationship with music.
I'am happy to finally see the famous Art of noise.
Everyone have at least one track who's transported him to special place.
The left singer looks like a young Roisin Murphy, and thinking about it, she would fit perfectly there and in this kind of music.
Loved Art of Noise, didnt know they even played live. This is great, but I'm glad I didn't know anything at all about them apart from just the music. The mystery was a part of the experience.
My god. I was 14. And now... approaching 50. Still got all their albums, just now in mp3.
Opus 4 and Paranoimia
No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day -
No sky - no earthly view -
November!
😁
1985, Look at the green computer's screen, that was ART !
I totally agree
A P1 Phosphor CRT.
@@AudioFreqx Fairlight CMI
That’s the Fairlight CMI sampler
Who were the female singers, two look familiar?
I think the singer on the far right was a backing singer with ‘Go West’. Would love to know who they all were as they were fantastic in this live performance.
tessa niles far left - most prolific backing vocalist of the 80s!
@@beng1lh00ly Indeed. And rightmost might be Tracy Ackerman.
Not near as good without Max!
David Palmer of ABC is on drums! Too cool.
This somg is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 THE LEGENDARY ART OF NOISE PARANOMIA aint nothing like oldschool music
Brilliant - thanks for uploading.
F... I missed them on stage/live. Amazing, what a beat.
This is ART! ;-) Gesamtkunstwerk
Thank you so much! Awesome!

Tessa Niles far left"
I never thought AoN was a live act! But why are they mourning? :-)
They are just sad because Max isn’t with them
Saw 'em in Salt Lake City back in the day
Brilliant
Yep great rendition
The only song by the Art of Noise that interests me is "Paranoimia".
Do not pass go, do not collect 200 pounds, I love it.
Pity there's not an album with this version.
Did the theme tune to The Krypton Factor.
Great Performance 2022. Like if you know Great sounds when you hear them 🥰🔥
First time that I see four Fairlights on stage. Whoah !!
I noticed that as well. Most electronic bands of the era had one, maybe two, but four!? Those things we're hell expensive. I'm surprised I can't see an Emulator II among them.
@@LifeAquaticSteveZissou Adjusted for inflation, one cost between €85 000 and €170 000, depending on the model. So yeah, that's a small fortune.
