Beautifully photographed with wonderful story telling from best voice in golf...another excellent video that makes me want to visit Utrecht Golf Club as soon as possible! Well done!!
Thank you chaps for opening my eyes to some of the delights to be found in the Netherlands, I’m relocating back to Europe in spring and a visit will be planned.
Nice! I used to live about 3 miles away from this one… it really is a beautiful course and one of the finest in NL and one of 3 wonderful courses on the west(ish) aide of Utrecht, the other two being De Lage Vuursche and, obviously, Hilversum. Another one worth a visit near Utrecht is De Hoge Kleij in Amersfoort. All in all Utrecht is a great place to golf…. By the way I hope you’re going to visit the other courses of the ‘Oude Negen’ (the old nine)…. De Haagsche must not be missed, and the Noordwijksche and the Kennemer - all within 15km of me. A personal favourite of mine in NL is de Nunspeetse on the Veluwe
Wow - lots I hadn’t heard of in here. Hilversum is one we didn’t have enough time to see, however we have films from Kennemer / Haagsche and Noordwijkse all in the coming weeks! Podcasts also to accompany them talking about the courses and pictures all on our social media pages! Thanks again and I’m glad you like the films 👍👍
@@CookieJarGolf nice, I look forward to watching the other videos. Nice too that someone on youtube is giving a bit of love to courses in NL… it’s a bit of a hidden gem for golf really. Very interested to know what you thought of de haagsche, I think it’s still one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. Btw the Rosendaelsche is also a must play course.
@@CookieJarGolf the only criticism i would have of the video is your shots of Utrecht…. It’s such a beautiful city and you only managed to show a few crappy looking streets 😂
All accept visitors. Obviously need to contact the club, and some may limit number of visiting rounds per day or week I believe, but accessible - highly recommend for a trip
Some of them can be a bit pricey as well…. 150 euros a round, ish. Ok it’s not in the price league of the likes of RSG or Sunningdale but still not cheap for a round. Most of the ‘old 9’ in NL are worth paying for though, especially on a lovely sunny day
Magical looking place. First thing I thought of when I saw the land and the understated nature of the club was Swinley Forest. If you've played both, is that a fair comparison? Another gem from you guys! 🇳🇱
I think people talk of it like that yeah, personally I haven’t, but it’s up there with the best of the Surrey / Berkshire heathlands without doubt, and very intimate

Looks mega. How are these courses in terms of visitor (not guest) accessibility? Green fees/able to get on I mean.
