Ok, a bit of a different video today. Sorry there's no evolution video as there usually is on a Thursday. I'm going through some personal stuff right now, and am taking time to be with my family. I just happened to remember I recorded this video a few weeks ago, so I uploaded it today. Thanks for your patience!
And I thought only the Subaru Impreza LM (now known as Super) touring car in this case can be used a rally car but nope. 0:16 LOL that thing wanted to go over and the amount sparks after that is crazy
Clio Sport Race Car and VW Cup Cars actually make sense as those were used as rally cars. When it comes to DTM, Falcon V8 or GT Dream Cars, I bet it was a funny detail, just like in GT4 Prologue when we could test out Ford GT Concept, Honda NSX or Mazda Miata... Or they didn't properly check out all cars and changed all the stuff they made. Those tuning parts were programmed for all cars just few months before the game was finished
YES! I remember using the Clio Race Car and Beetle Race Car with Dirt Tires, and actually those tires fit them really well! Great and Interesting video, Solstice Team!
@@mrspandel5737 It was Beetle RSI in CMR 2005. Beetle Cup Car in GT3 was actually a version with different engine (2.8L instead of 3.2L) and front wheel drivetrain instead of AWD. But everything else almost looks the same
@@El_Transportacoches_33 I think sadly GT4 cut most of the race cars from rally, but there are some road cars that I know can race on rally that can't in GT5! I'll investigate!
@@solsticecity I asked because it was reminiscent of what they did in Gran Turismo 3: the Subaru Super Touring Car could also be driven on dirt tracks. But without any tricks, mods or hacks.

It's weird to see race cars in rally tracks, but as Gran Turismo players, we love it
Way back in 1980 and 2010 era, race cars were actually brought to severe rally courses to compete in Group B, R-GT Rally stages
Apparently the Toyota 7 is undriveable on GT4 in dirt / snow races, despite being selectable.

Yeah, they do fit the Clio and Beelte - Clio especially since its power level is close to the rally cars.
And thank you :)
@@solsticecity I also remember the Beetle and Clio being available to drive in Colin McRae Rally 2005, but the Beetle might have been the AWD RSi.

The hallmark of being a Gran Turismo player is trying to use a weird/wrong of a car to win the event.
As weird I meant, autocorrect changed as to a.
my gaming life since senior high for real, first time knew this.
Evolution Studios in the making of Motorstorm:WRITE THAT DOWN! WRITE THAT DOWN!
Hacked game? Or directly from factory?
No hacks! This is something you can do in the game!
@@solsticecity Try investigating the same thing, but with Gran Turismo 4.
