  • The German capital dates back 775 years. We take a look at the famous landmarks, including Potsdamer Platz, the Nicolai quarter, the famous Ku-Damm promenade and Unter den Linden, the central boulevard which leads to the Brandenburg Gate.

I thought so, too. Potsdamer Platz didn't disappear because of the wall, it had been bombed heavily like most of the city and whatever remained of it fell out of grace due to increased tensions near the border.

Of course they didn’t. If they would mention everything that happened to Berlin , this video would be very long. Berlin is an old city.

Eastern Germany (including Berlin) was originally slavic. Köpenick (now it is Berlin district) was slavic settlement until XIII century. Now many eastern germans dont know about their slavic blood. Read please about Polabian Slavs. It is sad how world and especially germans forgot about their heritage.

That's the truth, there's nothing funny here. Only ignorants and Nazis will deny it. But all you have to do is look for information and get knowledge instead of laughing and denying the facts. That's what Germany is like, they think that they are the core of a nation, but their genes are a mixture of M & M's.

@Berliner Stadtschloss Michallo50 was right. The name "Berlin" is based in an old slavic language. The syllable "brl" means "wet, marsh ..." The old slavic roots you can also see in names like Pankow, Köpenick and so on. Only an idiot negates historical evidences.

Stop claiming ! The few sorbeans are Germans minorities..means they are considered as Germans Nationals like the Tatars in Russia or Poland. They dont even want to be associated with slavs..they want to be called Germans and not Slavs ! Bloody slavs are known to claim what itsnt theirs no wonder ur histories are fake indeed !
