There are examples, albeit very rare, of people who claim to have visited the past. Not at will, as mentioned here, but by accident. A famous example would be the Moberly and Jourdain case of 1901. Several others cases exist and are sometimes centred on certain places like Bold Street in Liverpool where a few people have claimed independently to have found themselves projected back in time. I don't know whether they're true but they're known as 'time slips' and the witnesses sound quite convincing. Claiming that 'no one has ever gone back in time' would not be true if these cases have any validity.

QUESTION!!🍀🍀 QUESTION!! "First of all, thank you for this wonderful video. It has really made me think. I understand that there is no past and also no future. I also understand that the present is not between the future and the past. But when I look back at a video I made earlier in the day on my phone, what am I looking at? Isn't that the past? I am looking for people to discuss this with, so anyone reading this who wants to talk to me and teach me more about it, please send me a message. Thanks in advance for the responses I will receive!"

The video has always been there as a probable possible outcome, and you have just focussed your awareness on it, which brings it into your 3D reality. Everything exists now, where you put your awareness in the now will create the now reality. I hope that helps? 🙏 Monika

No darling! It is this instant immediacy appearing as an activity the body apparently did earlier. Again, the body, which is not even real neither! You, have never been once anywhere. Just in the opinions of others based on severe misinterpretation of what apparently happens.

    Video Tutor/ChatGPT 4o, 2024-07-08:
    Philosophical Perspective in the Video
The protagonist's argument is rooted in a non-dualistic philosophy, which posits that the only true reality is the present moment, or the "eternal now." They suggest that our perception of time-past, present, and future-is a construct of the mind. According to this view:
The Eternal Now: The protagonist asserts that the present moment is the only reality. Terms like "eternal" are used to emphasize that this now is ever-present and unchanging.
Illusory Time: The concepts of past and future are seen as mental projections. Memories of past events and expectations of future events occur in the present moment. This view challenges the conventional understanding that past events have an independent existence outside of our current experience.
Mind's Filter: Time is described as a filter through which we experience reality. When the mind is inactive, as in deep sleep, the perception of time disappears, highlighting its illusory nature.
    Critique and Counterpoints
Reality of Past Events: The protagonist's view can be critiqued for denying the objective reality of past events. Historical knowledge and memories are based on events that did indeed happen, even if we only recall them in the present. This perspective risks trivializing significant historical events and the experiences of individuals, especially victims of historical injustices.
Logical Flaws: The concept of the "eternal now" seems to contradict itself when it denies the reality of the past. Our understanding of "now" is inherently tied to our experiences of time, including past and future. The protagonist's dismissal of this temporal context undermines the coherence of their argument. (You wouldn't be able to understand a single sentence or recognize a single melody if past events weren't real events.)
Practical Implications: Reducing all experiences to the present moment can lead to solipsism, where only one's mind and experiences are considered real. This perspective can be seen as narcissistic and dismissive of the objective reality shared by others.
    Importance of Historical Reality
Verification of Memories: Forensic examination and historical analysis rely on the reality of past events. Distinguishing between accurate and false memories is crucial for justice and understanding.
Victims' Perspective: Recognizing the reality of past events is essential for acknowledging and addressing historical injustices. Denying this reality can be harmful and cynical.
    Conclusion
While the protagonist's perspective on the "eternal now" offers an interesting philosophical exploration, it is essential to balance such ideas with a recognition of the objective reality of past events. Acknowledging the importance of historical accuracy and the lived experiences of individuals ensures that philosophical inquiries do not lead to cynicism or denial of reality.

That is why ppl age and things decay to give the illusion of time passing. We have agreements on what the things should look like after a certain time has passed, so that we share the same reality. Otherwise we would all be living in different realities.

@@chenath9582 Absolute twaddle. This is nothing but solipsism, and I'm surprised people swallow it, though I suppose I shouldn't be, as I used to be mesmerised by this kind of claptrap before I did a bit of study in the right areas. You also can't step into other people's minds, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. What we generally call people who act as if other people don't exist is psychopaths. If you want to know what 'living in the now' really looks like, watch the documentary The Man With the Seven Second Memory, about Clive Wearing.

It's disturbing that he is talking to a child. Is this some kind of sect? It's a logical fallacy to say the past doesn't exist just because we can't go back to the past. How come there is a time when your mind exists and there is a time when it doesn't but there is no time? Seriously, his manipulation is disturbing.

What do you mean by existence?? You're very much stuck in the materialist sense of the world. It needs a different outlook which is hard to understand for you who doesn't know Hinduism. Anywhich way at the end he was literally explaining Immanuel Kant bruh
