Wow. I never thought of it that way. If “God” is truly infinite (which I believe), then how could “I” be separate from “God”? The “Infinite” must include everything, including “me”
When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. Their human Spirit died.Now it must be born again through the joining of God's Holy Spirit thus becoming one with God.
The best example is your human spirit is like the ovum of a woman and the Holy Spirit is like the sperm of a man when the sperm joints with the ovum that creates new life and that new life grows and matures within the womb of our hearts and gives birth through our expression which the Bible refers to as Christ in you, the hope of Glory. Anyway, under the Christian religion Salvation faith comes from God, we are chosen, 2 Peter 1:1, Hebrews 12:2, by hearing the word of God Roman's 10:17. So it all comes from God. And John 10:34, Psalm 82:6 explicitly states, we are gods.

True, I am aware of my thoughts and feelings in my mind, sensations of the body, and perceptions of the world around. After repeated practice, perhaps, Awareness feels the real me. (I identify myself as Awareness.)
But it is still My thoughts, My feelings/perceptions/sensations that I am aware of. It is still very much localised.
When and how does Awareness begin to feel infinite and eternal?
Can you help me with this?
@SuperstarSridhar The "my" gives each of those things, perceptions, thoughts, feelings, a lot of weight, seemingly. Think of money, now my money. I'm happy for you to have all the money you want but don't even think about taking any of my money! That "my" is rooted in identification with the bundle of the idea of self, which is what needs to be negated, because it's not actually real. All I can say is to encourage you to persist with seeing that when this identification arises recognize you are not that, only awareness.
Growth is rarely seen except in hindsight. We need to recondition and realign with the Truth and stay away from fiction. Desire and fear are the biggest indications that one has fallen back into old behaviours.

“I AM GOD” is the WORD OF GOD spoken directly by GOD
not by a “person”! This TRUTH is REALIZED only when this WORD OF GOD is heard directly in the heart as the still small voice of GOD. A spiritual teacher can lead you to the door of this Realization but then you must listen to hear the Word of God directly in your own heart. So I am sitting still with myself (well before and after I I type this) and I am trying to feel this presence of God, too. I thiiink I may have came really close to embodying that feeling, but I am not quite sure, as my ego seems to keep getting too excited and in the way of my simple Beingness. Hmmm. I tried again and I did start to tingle and a tear out of my right eye fell out of nowhere, does that mean anything?
I do understand what this questioner is feeling like though, as I have been feeling pretty much the exact same way. Just... too personified basically???
I hope to come to this realization of my God presence asap! I feel so ready. Or.. my ego does?? Blah. Will it more so just happen naturally?

These philosophical speculations of Rupert and otherts are well constructed sophisms to fit the philosophical-religious doctrines of Rupert and others. The reality is that no one knows who and what God is. To say that He is Being, Consciousness, and we are one with Him would mean that we know from birth, as a pre-programmed instinct, who we are, what mitochondria or DNA is and how it works, and so on. But the Hindu religion, like other religions, has found "excuses": God sleeps through us and dreams, DNA or mitocondria is a dreamed illusion :) until God / we wake up and become aware and enlightened in/from this dream, etc. Let us ask the great and enlightened gurus who have attained Cosmic Consciousness how many planets the real or illusory solar system has or how an anti-covid vaccine is made through genetic engineering which is in fact God's engineering. Remember, Sars-Cov-2 virus is a dreamed object by God and/or us or it is the real Infinite "I Am" manifested into a limited form of a virus, or it is etc. :)
Rupert said that a stone, a tree, a cat, etc. are "I Am" = God manifested limited in forms (stones, trees, etc.). So, according to Rupert and other followers of this dogma, the bacterium Borrelia, which is a spirochete bacterium that causes Lyme disease (a torturous and long-lasting disease that destroys the social, mental and material life of the infected person bitten by a tick), before being qualified as a destructive bacterium, it is in its essence "I Am "= a "isness" which is God's being, and this manifestation of God in a finite form of microscopic and toxic spirochete bacteria is cleverly programmed to attack and relentlessly destroy another finite form of the same "I am", but manifested as an conscious, intelligent, spiritual, rational, sentimental man, which is the culminating work on earth of the same Conscious Being "I Am".
I sincerely appreciate awakened people like Mr. Rupert Spira and others, but I agree with them to the point where a "prostitution" of reason begins to appear just to agree with a religious-spiritual-philosophical doctrine that anesthetizes the reason.

We are aware and also aware that we are. This is the essence of self-consciousness. Our mistake is that we identify our self as the "self" of self-consciousness. When we clearly observe how this works, the separate identity collapses. And in the transparency that results we become conscious that our lives are guided from a deeper, seemingly infinite source. Some call it God. Some don't. Beware of getting hung up on words, unless your desire is to be deceived by phantoms. When we focus exclusively on our "self" as the figure, we forget how we emerge from the ground. The ground of our being is God.

Truth, Ground, Reality, Self never arises nor sets. The feeler, thinker of THAT GROUND doesn't have an existence, consciousness at all. The waking, dreaming states of a separate individual's consciousness is illusory, insubstantial, that is why there is a word for this state of ignorance is termed in Sanskrit as "Anirvachaneeyam" - meaning unspeakable.
what if i feel i lost connection to my consciousness or awareness. I feel back to duality now. After many years of my spiritual journey now i feel i lost my connection, i am even numb. :(

I love this as it really hits the nail on the head. Jesus never said, "I am God." Jesus said, "The Father and I are one." Meaning the Father is the one infinite being out of which I, as an individualized expression of my Father, arise out of and move, live and have my being in God (pure awareness of being that is infinite). I love how you express the Divine Intelligence through your form.
@Boss Interepid Yes but you missed my point. God is un-manifested pure awareness of being (energy) while we human being are the manifested forms of that same energy. Consciousness (pure awareness) is one and indivisible. Hence Jesus also saying, "When you see me, you see the Father." It is like Rupert is saying - we don't go around saying we are God even though we are...we are the unlimited children or expressions of God. There is a distinction and that is what I was pointing out. Most people are manifested into forms that don't reflect the pure light of awareness that God is so the goal of life is to first recognize that you are one with God and then purify your Consciousness as Jesus did. Hope that makes sense to you. Explaining Unity Consciousness in duality terminology doesn't always allow people to see or know the meaning that is being conveyed. In other words, words can divide people because words can have different meanings depending upon context and how different people interpret words through their own unique perception. I know that the Father and I are one because the Father is pure infinite faceless, formless, unlimited, un-named awareness of being while I am that same awareness with a face, a form, a name expressing the content of my consciousness...my current state of being. Again, this is why Jesus never said, "I am God" but rather said, "The Father and I are One." Can you now see the distinction? You can choose to believe whatever you desire and see the world as you wish so I am not trying to argue with you or make you see my perception. I am simply expanding on what I shared in my first post so that you can now see my FULL meaning and the state of being it was expressing from. Have a blessed Day!
@Boss Interepid We are saying the same thing. It is so funny how people always love to express through their unique expression using their own words which is what we are both doing here - fun!. Jesus had the same problem. When Jesus spoke he was speaking from the Universal "I" of God and not the personal "I" of Jesus. Like I said, speaking Unity within a dualistic world confuses people. We are good. I have only watched two of Rupert's videos but I like him. I have been receiving my own downloads lately and am understanding how life (light in form expressing) expresses through the seven chakras. It is fascinating!

Here is where I am at in my awareness: I am not even a "person" as that would imply separation. I am a Unity consciousness...a stream of awareness beginning with I AM running through the seven energy centers and culminating in the illusionary physical being you see and know as Patty. You and I are literally the same being too. You are the I AM expressing through your illusionary mind-body unit. I truly GET IT. I say the Father and I are one because the Father (Source Consciousness) always remains a pure, faceless, formless, un-named, unlimited, unborn immaculate awareness of being. I AM God expressing in form as Patty. I just don't go around saying I am God because it is arrogant and people will assume I am crazy because MOST people are not at my same level of awareness. @Boss Interepid Yes you are correct and I run into the same problem...how to explain this world of form to my Spiritual siblings (me in another seemingly separate form)...it is not easy. Now about the last part...yes I agree AND again I am straddling two worlds here - unity and duality...I am in this world but not of it. AND language is a huge barrier to truly expressing myself here in this world of form because language is mostly dualistic. We do have to separate things and concepts to explain them to our un-awakened siblings and children (wild how that is!) but in Truth everything is one. Nice conversation...it is unusual to find another being at my same level of awareness. Very refreshing, indeed!
@Boss Interepid I have some Osho books that I read many years ago, but was not at this same level of awareness. My biggest mentor was/is Neville Goddard followed by Dr. Joe Dispenza who is actually the science behind Neville so they really compliment each other very well. I also love Aaron Abke as it was his Masterclass called Master Your Mind that got me to realize that there is no "separate person". His teachings are big on the Law of One and A Course in Miracles. Lately, I have just been receiving my own "Divine Downloads" which is just Me (I AM) flowing information to myself in physical form. Life is truly amazing. I love to learn so I can easily sit and read or watch videos on Spirituality but nothing beats experience. So, now I am typing up my Divine Downloads and experiencing the wisdom they reveal. Happy Holidays to you too, my friend, and good luck with the in-laws! I find it humorous to witness, myself, expressing in, as and through all of these unique physical forms. LOL

A simple work-around for the 'I am God' dilemma could be this: I am NOT God, but GOD is ME. We just have to put it in the right order. I am an extension of God, he is not an extension of me. Even if this is not true, if there is no differentiation, it does take the personal self out of it. God expresses himself as Being through me and because I am an extension of him, I also experience God's Beingness. God 'caused' me. I did not 'cause' god. Because God caused me, I can not be apart from him. To think otherwise is blasphemy. Loved this.

When I passed through death and was in the spirit my life flashed before me and I saw the Light at the end of the tunnel. When I reached the end of the tunnel, I was in front of this Bright Light and this Bright Light is God. God then told me I can heal people but not charge them. God then told me He was sending back to earth on a mission.
I have also felt the Fire of the Holy Spiritvon my hands on tge day of Pentecost of 2008.

That was the first time that I felt a slight elevation from the couch I was sitting on. Such a precious moment, thank you.
That is the seeking -- for God to awaken in us. God must take that final step. It is the whole entire movement. We search and God unfolds when the time comes. We can only do our studies, practices. God chooses when we are ready. We can only prepare the altar, and then we wait. A bit disconcerting. I understand her issue. I appreciate his enfolding of our minute point to infinity; we need to experience, to feel that connection, however. Why have a body? The body makes the entire awakening such the grand event that folks talk about.
BTW: I remember waking up at around 4 years old. I was in the backyard in Miami making mud pies and I suddenly became conscious. That was amazing to me because I was this baby girl, and I remember nothing before this. Yet, here I was playing with tin baking dishes imaging baking something. The continuity is forward; nothing is behind that moment.
Hinduism 🕉️ always teaches you what Rupert is saying, and when a Hindu clasp their hand and bows to you , they say that they are bowing to the god in you.
Rupert continually blows me away🤯. Only he could capture the essence of God and our Beingness in a 30 minute video.
