- Can we take a rosette making die and turn it into a album spine??? Can we call it a rosette binding?
~~Measurements~~
**Using the die: spine
(1) 3.50" x 8.50" piece of cardstock
see the video on how to cut with die
score in half on the 3.50" side @ 1.75"
now fold at every .50" all the way across the length
make sure the ends are folding facing up
**No die method: spine
(1) 3" x 7" piece of cardstock
score @ every .50" across the length
make sure the ends are folding facing up
**Signatures:
we are using #10 slimline policy envelopes that are 9.50" long
if using the same size score in half at 4.75" ... if you are using a different size you may not need to fold them
see the video for adding them to the album spine
** Chipboard covers:
our covers are 4.25" x 5.25" your covers will vary depending on the envelopes used and how much overhang you want to have
** Pages:
our pages are 4" x 4" .... you will need to measure to get the correct size for your envelopes

I love this idea. My brain is going overtime thinking about the envelopes that I have, and how I could adapt them for Mother's Day. I made 16 altered mini composition books for Easter, but they're too cute to sell so I think I"ll give them out perhaps randomly or to workers somewhere or a nursing home. I better decide soon, but I've been too sick to do anything. I'm getting better. Thanks for being an awesome crafter and person!

MayMay, I have some Gugenhein scissors that cut through thick layers of jean material like butter, look into getting some for your crafting and you wont regret it but also anyone you know who sews, they will love it if you told them about them too. ❤

I love this so much. But, how did you open the opposite end of the envelope to create the open pocket and keep both po keys the same size?
HI, she added a "flip" with another envelope to make the pocket, but you can certainly cut a sliver off the end to make a pocket, thanks
