Which movie has the best Wolverine Costume?
Deadpool 3
Why you guys watch this movie first in x men franchise?
This is the wrong order to watch X-Men movies you should watch first X-Men movie which was released in 2000 and you have skip all X-Men movie before this that is a big mess I don't understand why you guys don't watch any x men movie before this movie🤦🤦🤦
They have a cheat sheet.
@@aadilshekhi6049 were not gonna watch any other ones. This is the only good one
@@Diegesisstrongly disagree. Last Stand is mediocre, Apacalpyse isn't good, and Dark Pnoenix is bad. Origins is terrible. But the rest range from good to excellent.
The fact that Wolverine is getting drunk already shows that something is wrong with his healing factor.
Usually he can't reach the alcohol-altered state because his healing factor prevents it.
Though to be fair, his rapid healing never stopped him from knocking back a couple beers before.
@glennwelsh9784 yeah but he never really got drunk off any of those, he may as well have been drinking water with his healing factor.
Just a reminder that this takes place in 2028, and Logan was born in 1832 and fought in every major American war since the Civil War. So yeah, he's very old and very haggard.
Isn't it set in 2029?
That's not the reason he's old and haggard. he would still be young looking and strong if Stryker didn't put adamantium in his body. That is what is making his healing factor dwindle making him age and very sick.
@@extremepower5765 Does a single year matter that much? You got the gist.
@@SatchelKill It's not just the adamantium. They say later on in the movie that they have put a cure to the X gene in all different kinds of foods and sweeteners. That cure is wearing away at his healing factor as well as the adamantium poisoning he's dealing with.
@@SatchelKill
No they things they put into food that damaged the mutant genes is what is killing him. His healing ability isn’t working like it did anymore, and that’s why the adamantium poisoning is killing him. If his mutant ability was working properly, then he would still be fine.
The irony of Charles yelling at Logan "you're waiting for me to die" when it's Logan himself waiting to die.
Just a little factoid: in the comics, mutants that possess an enhanced healing factor are typically more resistant to telepathy. Hence why Logan and Laura weren’t completely paralyzed like everyone else during Charle’s seizure.
This film hits a bit different if you’ve seen the others movies prior because Wolverine was so strong and damn near indestructible…. then you see him in his fragile state for LOGAN and it’s heartbreaking, which also adds weight to the end when he takes the serum and is “The Wolverine” for a good few minutes, seeing him in his full glory for just a moment before it fades to dust again.
The best under the radar joke in this movie is all the guys that watched the kid are missing limbs.

It's hinted that Xavier killed the other X-Men while having one of his dementia episodes similar to what happened in the casino.
Logan feels obligated to care for him because he's the only one capable of stopping him.
In the comics, it's Logan that kills the other xmen during an attack that Xavier is having.
@@os1r1s_210I thought it was an attack orchestrated by Mysterio?
@@leonel8831 i could be wrong. It's been a while
@@os1r1s_210 I have the comic, but it's been awhile for me as well. Mysterio tricks Logan into thinking the X-Men are enemies. Even made them smell different. Jubilee was the last X-Men to break Logan out of the trance as she died. The fact she fought wolverine for over 2 hours shows her grit.
yep all the marvel villains basically realize hey we should stop fighitng the same guy's over and over again and fight each other's nemesis's, mysterio makes wolverine believe the mansion is getting attacked only to realize he killed all the xmen, and then it's a slow end of the world type scenario@@leonel8831
The 'Two Broke Girls' look is working for Maple. Arianna, your reactions are delightful as usual.

Damn I'm seeing two beautiful mountains 🌄😊
"Sorry, dementia is really sad to me"
Might take the cake for most unneeded sorry in history Arianna^^ No one should have to experience that, not as patient nor as a family member.
Lost my mom to dementia. This movie hit me hard.
Regarding the incident in Westchester. Charles had a seizure and killed the other Xmen.
Whenever Maple does the intro it always sounds like she says welcome to DIET JESUS 🤣
R rated Logan, you get to see what he really can do (not holding back the gore).
They won't know because they never watched any X-Men movies.
I really hope the Insomniac Wolverine game gets an M rating.
Two years before we cried for Tony, we cried for Logan. Other reactors who have gotten into the X-Men movies over the last 2-3 years have felt the same way. Laila Naema, Sebscreen, Natalie Gold, Mary Cherry, VKunia, and Addie Counts - none of them had a dry eye by the end of the film.
Ashleigh Burton and Alex Hefner are working their way up the ladder. They’re about halfway done, and I can’t wait for them to get to this film.
In Days of Future Past, the X-Men were able to avert total disaster in their original timeline and prevent the sentinels from being created. However, in this new timeline, mutants are still going extinct. This time it’s not because of the sentinels. Rather it’s Canewood corn syrup.
There have been hints shown throughout the entire movie, but it wasn’t confirmed until Zander Rice brought it up. Any food that contained Canewood corn syrup such as the drinks and cereals he brought up would reverse the mutagen.
To add to that, Charles started losing control of his powers in 2028. He accidentally killed some of the X-Men.
Some behind the scenes trivia: Hugh Jackman accepted a pay reduction in order to give this film an R-rating since he didn't wanna hold back on the violence this time around.
As for X-24, Hugh would have two stunt doubles - one for Logan and one for his clone. When Hugh would portray one of the two, the corresponding stunt double to the other character would step in.
The comics used in this movie were drawn by Joe Quesada and Dan Panosian. Director James Mangold was allowed to embed comics into the movie as long as they weren’t actual issues that Marvel published.
(For me, this is also the first time I see comics in a comic book movie. The second time would be Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.)
And finally, Dafne Keen herself pitched in the idea to have Laura speak Spanish, and they gave her the green light. In real life, her father is British and her mother is Spanish. As someone who grew up in a Spanish speaking household, I felt that was a nice touch to her character.
Following her debut, she would go on to star in a BBC/HBO series titled His Dark Materials which is based on the Scholastic book series of the same name.
More recently, she got to join the cast of an upcoming Star Wars series called The Acolyte. Dafne portrays one of the main characters of the show. At the moment we don’t know what her character’s name is, but she’s a young Jedi.
I totally agree with you and this was a wonderfully crafted comment! But… I don’t think these reactors or the person that runs this channel really care about any of the meaningful backstory of these characters or this franchise. Otherwise, they would have reacted to the films leading up to this one… it’s really disappointing.
Lmao, you’re actually jobless

@@MrGeoff-iv6rethe other xmen movies aren't really needed to appreciate this film
I've been waiting SO long for this reaction! Thank you for doing this, especially in two parts!I am so happy you finally did this ❤
Yes, this channel is about movies AND only movies!
So I remember reading an article about this movie and it calls out one scene in particular; where Laura and Logan are yelling at each other like animals in the jeep. Apparently after the scene (according to this article) Hugh Jackman walked over to the girl's mother and deeply apologized for REALLY yelling at her daughter that intensely.
The mom told Hugh that she called him a cunt during the scene.
The thumbnail brought me to this video immediately
laura is stinkin adorable and terrifying at the same time
TOTALLY agree. Dafne Keen was literally perfectly cast. She is adorable kicking ass, not speaking, being a smartass, and grieving. She is a huge reason I love this film so much.
The albino is Calaban. He's actually in X-Men Apocalypse too. He helps find mutants.
Which they would know if they watched the entire franchise instead of jumping to the finale for views
This was primarily adapted from the Old Man Logan series of comics. Hugh Jackman took a big pay cut to ensure this could get an R rating. The villain with the cybernetic hand, played by Boyd Holbrook, is also in Narcos, The Predator, The Sandman and the new Indiana Jones
Lol. In name only. Absolutely nothing is the same.
Boyd is also in next chapter of Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) of Justified called Justified: City Primeval. Boyd plays Clement Mansell aka "The Oklahoma Wildman"
well sure, are you really upset they didn't include mysterio or hulks inbred family ranch? lmfao@@chand911
"If that's just the start of it I feel like something worse is coming."
Hoooo boy.
For anyone who doesn't know about the character "Wolverine".
He was born James Howlett, also known as Logan or The Wolverine. Canadian born in the late 19th century (1800s). His mutant ability is the ability to heal any wound, enhanced senses (sight, smell, hearing), enhanced strength, and bone claws. He was recruited into a special experiment by the Canadian government during WW2 to make him "Canada's Captain America", which is how his skeletal structure was fused with Adamantium, making him nigh indestructible, and also turned his bone claws into his famous adamantium claws. Even if you shot him in the heart with a shotgun, his heart would heal, and if he "died" from the wound, his heart would just restart itself. He's practically immortal.
In this movie, the adamantium in his body has poisoned him so much that his healing factor can no longer keep up with the damage to his body, which is also why Logan looks so old. Logan is over 200 years old, and if his healing factor worked properly, he would only look like he was 40.
The mutant cure was also distributed throughout the world via corn products. Stopped mutants being born, but also weakened Logan's healing factor.
It was the terrigan mist they mixed into the corn syrup its toxic too mutants. Not the adamantium.
I’m convinced that Maple has started saying “diet Jesus”
You are telling me there was logan in this vid
Otimo react pessoal...🌹🤗
At first, they teased Old Man Logan, in which Mysterio had mindfrelled him into slaughtering the X-Men. Turned out they went with the one where senile Xavier killed the X-Men (I never remember which story that happened in).
Logan lived a long time, and fathered several chidren he never knew about. He also killed a lot of people. Their families pooled their resources and hired several mutants to try and kill him, knowing they would never succeed. Once he'd killed them all, the families told him who they were: his children. The only son he *did* know about had helped organise it, so Logan ended up killing him too.
When I first saw the beginning in theaters I knew what I was getting into.
Also just for reference, Black Panther opens its movie by calling Vibranium "The most powerful metal in the universe." Which depends on your definition of "most powerful." Because there are definitely metals infinitely more durable But Vibranium seems to have the most versatility and practical applications across the board. But adamantium once processed and hardened is utterly indestructible. Even Uru (the metal used to forge Mjolnir and Stormbreaker) aren't as durable as Adamantium.
The opening of Black Panther calling vibranium "the strongest substance the universe" was just the perspective of the ancient Wakandans. Vibranium was the strongest metal ever encountered on Earth, but they'd never traveled to other planets to find out what existed there. And of course adamantium wouldn't be invented until much later (it still hasn't been discovered yet in the MCU, as far as we know)
In the comics, enchanted uru and adamantium are equally durable. Vibranium is very strong, but isn't as tough as those two. But as you pointed out, vibranium is by far the most versatile of Marvel's fictional metals- it has the widest range of applications. And there are a few metals even more indestructible than uru & adamantium, but those haven't been introduced in the movies yet.
@@neospock5034 It's also called that in other movies as well. So it's not JUST Wakandan perspective.
@@patrickcromwell7554other movies that have yet to discover the other metals. In black panther 2 they were just finding out vibrainium exist outside of wakanda so there's tons of room to introduce and amantium as being stronger
@@patrickcromwell7554 yes that IS just the Wakandan perspective. They believed it was the strongest substance in existence but having never left Earth, their knowledge was limited. It was definitely the strongest stuff to have appeared on their own planet.
In the comics. vibranium isn't even in the top 5 of Marvel's strongest/most durable fictional metals. But vibranium IS the most versatile and valuable metal. It's very tough, stronger than real-world metals like steel and titanium but not the toughest. It's also extremely ;lightweight and flexible. As Howard Stark said in Captain America the First Avenger, "it's stronger than steel, a third of the weight, and completely vibration absorbent".
In both the comics and MCU, vibranium's claim to fame was never being totally indestructible but its ability to absorb all vibrations, including kinetic energy. That's what makes it so special, and why it has that name.
As we saw in Endgame, stronger sustances tham vibranium can be found on other worlds. Thanos had a sword composed of one.
@@neospock5034 So why would Howard Stark call it the most powerful metal on Earth?? Granted he said "on Earth" but the concept is the same. MCU at that point was legally NOT ALLOWED to reference Adamntium, because it was linked to X Men which they still yet didn't own. No; It was an MCU opinion NOT just Wakandans.

My first experience with James Mangold(Director) was the small but truly great Cop Land, one of Stallone's best straight up dramatic roles. Really enjoyed the Wolverine solo flick, the 2013 one set in Japan, even if it had the most ridiculous final boss villain...Identity was a lot of fun, Girl, Interrupted holds up pretty well, and his remake of 3;10 to Yuma was solid.
He can stay.
Cop Land is a phenomenal flick
@@bryanmurphy276 Right? A reaction to that might get a few more eyeballs to an overlooked gem of a film.
Ah lol man their hands shaking had my losing it
In the comics, Logan is decimated by a nuclear explosion. Only his skeleton and one cell survive. And he regenerated from that. He was ripped in half by the hulk only to come back and cut hulks head off. In another version, he and hulk are the last two mortals left in the universe and are fighting gods. OK, just one god who had captured them. He was also very brutal in the comics. He is the best at what he does. But what he does is not very nice. He loved Silver Fox, one of his fellow agents when they were both with the Weapon X program. In the movies, Jean Grey is the one he loves next and she does self destruct using the Phoenix's powers to protect Scott and Logan.
I think they let Dafne Keen/Laura do most of her own stunts up to a degree. Amazing performance.
“She’s sassy!”
Oh, you have no idea 😂
You should look up footage of the table read between Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen when she first speaks in the script. She surprised everyone and improvised.
I laughed at the first person I've heard pleading for logan not to get shot lol
The thing that’s killing him the most is the metal that’s on his bones. For a regular person, it’s like having a foreign (excuse me) object in your body that’s reacting negatively.
Adamantium is a radically toxic carcinogen. Any normal person would die in months, most likely. Logan could've lived for centuries more, or a thousand or so more years even with the stuff in him, but what really nailed it down was the modified "cure" in the genetically engineered corn (and therefore everything made out of that corn). That combination is what shortened his life from probably many thousands of years, down to a few extra decades past what he'd already lived, at most.
Watching character's I've loved my whole life grow old and fall apart is even less fun than seeing it in real life :( but each time watching it never seems too hurt enough to stop me from tuning in :)
"Logan" is a masterpiece :) 💘🥰💔😭😭😭
Laura or X23 its like picking up a feral kitten. It's cute, but if there scared enough they will go beast mode, and that cute little bastard will tear your hands to shreds.
Logan has had MANY love interests over the decades across all versions of the Marvel Multiverse. Jean Grey wasn't one that I ever remember being serious. His most notorious love was a woman named Yuriko (who is played by Kelly Hu in X Men 2) The comic book story is that she was the daughter of one of the lead scientists working on the weapon X Project and when Logan escaped he was among those Wolverine slaughtered. So she vowed to get revenge and turned herself into a cyborg with HUGE ASS hands with claws; and called herself Lady Deatrhstrike. Her look is similar to Rebecca from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners except Yuriko has deadly claws
I had to laugh at the reaction to the first scene limo fight. I didn’t take long to realize this was no PG13 movie.
So you have not watched any of the previous films? Wow...

seeing him stumbling out of the taxi shocked everyone in the theaters when i watched cause this man has always been drinking and for him to be drunk we all knew something was up with our boy.
Laura in this movie is like Diddy Kong with claws.
I was in 12th grade when the movie came and just like deadpool it stirred a storm. Its a great homage to wolverine and hugh Jackman

this movie is soo good, that I couldn't concentrate on the things for which I click on this video in the firstplace
In my opinion its one of the best superhero movies ever made, and its the Wolverine movie i have waited for since he first appeared in X Men. The sad, angry, broken, violent asshole of a hero. And Jackman is doing such a good job in this.
damn thx for the 2 part long reaction.
I love how Logan became more human in these movies best hero ever
Hes suffering from his Adamantium poisoning. Its continually seeping into him killing his mutant abilities
Damn, those are nice!
So happy you did logan
Man the violence doesn't bother me at all. Man I am so numb lol
Not sure if it's been said or not in the comments or in the movie since I haven't seen it in a bit, but in this movie when Professor Xavier has his spasms it's what had ended up wiping out most of the mutants and only a few had survived
When both of them started crying when the children were being put to "sleep", I knew that when Charles and Logan both went that it was going to shatter these 2 ladies. This is the best Marvel movie not just the best X-Men movie. Yes, Deadpool 3 will bring Logan back as part of a multiverse theme but nothing will touch this. LOGAN has everything in a movie, great characters, violence, family, revenge, a decent villain and a child superhero that is more feral than Wolverine. I especially like the fact that everyone got there time on screen and nothing was wasted at all. Great reaction!!
If I'm not mistaken, he also took a paycut so this movie could be rated R
@2:58 I vaguely recall a comic where Wolverine's son suggested that his dad was vulnerable to drowning. Especially so with his dense skeletal grafts; he likely wouldn't be very buoyant.
I don't remember the exact series, but yeah he's been drowned before and it worked pretty well. He regenerated once rescued but couldn't get himself out of it.
@@JBWinterhe drowned in days of future past
@@kanefears4245 I was thinking of a time it's used against him in the comics; I'd forgotten that part of DoFP
A hard R rating is the only way Wolverine can be done justice.
Aaaaayyyy, not gonna lie, took me a minute to lock into the movie with the...umm...very nice display before the movie. Another great reaction vid! Do The Usual Suspects next please!!!
It takes a lot of alcohol to get Logan drunk because of his healing factor.
I clapped, I saw things I know!!!! VERY COOL
18:21 yes she is Weapon X-23, Logan is Weapon X
Here’s the thing: Now that Logan’s healing is fucked up, his wounds heal as scar tissue. For flesh wounds, that’s fine, whatever, but imagine scar tissue on your LUNGS.
THIS is the Wolverine people wanted from the get-go except we wanted him Prime, rather than dying. That said, still one of the best comic book films ever.
That gas station is a place called Speedys outside of Albuquerque NM. Best burgers in the state lol
The great thing about this movie is the way they completely stripped back the Hollywood “ popcorn” feeling of the original movies and replaced it with a gritty, uncomfortable no bullshit story. The violence as far as comic book violence goes isn’t over the top or even gratuitous.
You know from the beginning that Logan’s time is running out, you just don’t know why or how.
This movie in my opinion is the best X-Man movie.
Why?
It has an unflinching atmosphere to it and it feels completely believable. 16:38
So Maple's role here in this video was to show off so the video can get more views.
Just realized: the limo was a lease... so how did he sell it?!?
"So unrealistic."
lol
This is arguably the best Marvel related film that's come out. It's even better in the black and white mode.
I have a feeling that not only did Charles un alive the xmen with his first seizure but Logan survived because he healed so quickly. And i think it was so bad, that it over taxed a healing factor that was already overtaxed from the amount of toxic AF Adamantium in his body. Because this movie is set sort of near the same parallel timeframe of the Sentinel future from DOFP and that Logan wasn't as burnt out. The Adamantium would catch up to him one day regardless. Laura is lucky that she only has her claws done, not just the toxicity but that fact that she's young and still growing, what kind of constriction would a full metal skeleton do to her bone growth. painful is one word

I recommend watching The Wolverine. Logan is the follow up. It will answer the healing question and why he has aged
Remember when Logan was told that he dies with his heart in his hand?
To put it in perspective...Logan is in the service industry. He's got a regular job. And he's struggling financially.
Like I said...if ya'll don't let that child eat her cornflakes in peace! LOL
Only 2 ways to get passed the metal (adamantium) covering Logan's skeleton. One is adamantium bullet or blade which is a very rare metal that came from space comet. Goodluck finding that. The other is super heating it over 1,500 degrees to melt down to its liquid form
8:23 i recommended this to my father 😂
This is based on the graphic novel “Old Man Logan” which is more graphic where Logan is dying from old age & adamantium poisoning & Laura is Native American.
Absolutely wrong on all accounts, so much that I have to question whether you've ever read that comic. This was only loosely inspired by 'Old Man Logan', which has a very different story. In that comic Logan isn't dying from anything and Laura doesn't even feature in the story. And in the comics where she does appear she is Caucasian like Logan, not Native, not Asian, she's a white woman.
@@lucidiously I did read it but may be mixing it up with another comic. Was a long time ago. I do recall a girl with wolverine claws & a mohawk. Something made me assume she was Native.
@@takeoutartist Daken/Akihiro, Wolverine's son has a mohawk and is half asian, maybe you're thinking of him.
No native female character with a mohawk and claws comes to my mind, though Marvel does have a ton of characters so it could be possible.

Back when Logan was healthy and still the Wolverine he was basically indestructible. He could heal back as long as there was something left almost. But now his healing can't keep up with his decay from the metal poisoning.
At least that's the easiest answer I can come up with

As both of you know that Hugh Jackman is returning as Wolverine for Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 3. Director of Logan is okay with Jackman returning in 3quel. Storyline for DP3 is set many years before Logan's time of 2028.
