Well just noticed this was from 4 years ago but I was just sent this link from your email. I tried it tonight and WOW, this is sooo tasty! The only thing I changed was I used spicy Italian instead of the sweet and it was amazing! I love my soups with a bit of spice, so I opt for it. I didn't even put any salt or pepper on it, just the spice from the sausage was good enough. Thanks for the great recipe!
Hiya! New subscriber here. Oh how I miss my Chi ❤ but not the winters, thus my sojourn to So Cal 🌞.. I digress... love this recipe and will try for this flavour profile as it looks fabulous! Thank you!! ( jeeminy, holy big garlic cloves!) 😁
Just one thing did you sort the lentils off camera but I really think you should mention that to people because I have found a bunch of different things in almost any legumes you can get at the store and in lentils I have found tiny rocks that definitely would break a tooth So please sort all your legumes you will be safer sorry for nit picking but you really need to be careful Thank you for the video I definitely will try it out
Should this be made with a ham that's already cooked/cured? Could you make it with an uncooked ham and if so would you need to cook the ham first? It seems like the only cooked hams at the store are boneless and I'd like that flavor from the bone. I'm not very clear about what constitutes a "ham" either - does it have be precooked to be a ham? Thanks to anyone who can answer!

Another "touch down" recipe Billy - looks jam packed with flavor!
Right back at you bro!
Made this last year, and I’m making it again. I think this will be a winter staple for me.
I love lentil soup. I make some Crostini to go with mine and it’s great for dipping!

Might not be vegetarian but I'm sure if I leave the meat out it'll be just as nice, and it'll help expand my lentil recipe pool
