This is my third time watching this and while scrolling down the search I made a shocking discovery about the Stunticons' names. Deadend, a term used to name an ending road/end of the line, Deadend knows death is coming and wants to look his best. Breakdown, is scared of death and panics at the mention of it, Breakdown is named after his one flaw, panicking. Dragstrip takes it too fast and isn't good at support (mentally/spiritually that is) and isn't sure what to do for his team mates. Wildrider is having fun in the fast lane and looking for a good time, why? What is their leader's name, Motormaster/ MASTER that drives the others too hard like slaves. The other four hate him and they don't get along. When they combine into Menasor/menace/menace to himself from the conflict of his components. (Either that or my headcannon's firing shots in the dark again)
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Terrell Layne i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Technically ALL the Gestalts, and Duacons and Masters are parts forming to some degree or other.... Just saying Transformers has lots of parts forming in it's history.
Hi emgo, I just wanted to say thank you for making these vids. I just recently purchased the not-stunticons and your vids on them made it so much easier to transform and combine them (especially Diesel and M3) Thanks again Dude! :D
considering the weight and poseability; i think the rachet joints were a great choice! especially for longevity. for a toy of this size complexity it needs rachet joints bc ball joints will loosen in time and everyone dosent know tricks to tighten ball and rachet joints. NOTE: buy pledge floor care finish; its great for tightning joints!
What I think Emgo fails to mention is that all of the limb bots can either be used as an arm or a leg. Because the leg bots just plug on to the already existing legs of Not- Motormaster's assemblage of parts, You technically only need three robot of this entire set: Not-Motormaster, and Two random limb bots of your choosing. So if you wanted to save some money, that's an option.
Great review as usual. Surprised i reviewed him before you as you seem to get stuff before me.The extra handle was meant as a replacement for the other as it the groove for the combined mode hand was too small. Also surprised you didn't compare him to his arch rival Superion (Uranos) . I compared him to the Maketoys Giant type 61 9 Devastator and the FansProject upgraded Superion. He's really short and they made an upgrade kit to make him taller ( i haven't got it yet as its in my BBTS POL and i'm waiting for the Echo Platinum FOC Bruticus kit). Keep up the great work Looking forward to the rest of your Feral Rex reviews.
many you could flip the arms so that both are filled in but when you make the elbow flip it the other way so it still has an elbow but the elbow is filled in instead
I found a way to fill in the arm gap and having a slim combine gun. you take the piece that connects the 2 shotguns and place it with the spare hilt in the arm. combine a shotgun with the other hilt and place the 2nd shotgun on the back for storage
The Crew is all here (inspite of all the unnecessary ratchet joints, bad posts, a Hallow Forearm, and the over all fact it was Way over Priced) Yup the Crew is all here.... (kinda)
The smartest limb pegs I've ever done seen. :) Ordinarily, I would be annoyed so much of the combiner is in the central guy, but for M3 it thematically makes sense. Diesel brought them in to because they were easily manipulated, not brothers in arms.
+emgo316 why don't you use that extra one part with the handle for the sniper and use a shotgun and connect them to make a combine mode shotgun so its still usefull
Once again, the leg cars are just decoration. Blows my mind that that's what they came up with on two different versions. Yeah, that hollow left arm looks really wonky. They could have just made a molded piece that looks like the gun piece to plug into the arm.
Hopefully the next to try these guys. Make the cab mode to look like the G1 Motormaster. The trailer to split open like Mp10 and all the combiner bits stored in the trailer. Like that you can remove the combiner bits and roll in a car or 2. If you like that mp10 gimmick. I won't mind having the trailer be an extra piece.
Are you going to get that add-on kit that echotransformer, who made the boosticus set, when it comes out? I think it will help fill in arm gap. It also converts dragstrip into more g1 style as well as a rear spoiler for breakdown. It's worth looking at IMHO. Good review. Diesel seems overly complex and makes me nervous transforming.
I love the look on these 3rd party combiners! Their proportions are amazing and the robots still look awesome separately, and visually speaking they look way better than Hasbro's combiner wars. The only thing I'm worried about is the plastic and sturdiness. How tough are these 3rd party collectibles? Are they sturdy? Obviously I don't bang my transformers around, but I realized that 3rd party transformers have really thin plastic pieces and tight as hell joints and moving pieces/panels. Just wanted to know before I decide to drop 200+ dollars...These things are damn expensive.
Great review and great looking combiner. the only thing that bugs me is the gap between the chest piece and crotch it has some tabs that make it look unfinished.
In my opinion size comparison biggest to smallest 1. devestator 2. Bruticus (tied with #3) 3.*Predaking?? (On tv visually grows every time he combines) 4. Menasor 5. Abominus And they should all be smaller then omega supreme and metroplex etc..
Again the tolerances and plain Over-engineering of these figures is a major minus. They look cool, but man it could have been done better with less complexity and "Oh Crap is that Breaking!!!" Moments.
I will defend Motormaster's ankle joint as a ratchet, he's carrying a ton of s#$% in "Intimidator Mode" (which is what Hasbro calls an "Attack Mode"). He reminds me of this guy in USMC School of Infantry who forced marched a M1 .50 Cal receiver for 27 miles. They gave him a meritorious rank of Lance Corporal for that - it was INSANE! In short, with a ball joint the toy would topple because he's so top heavy! Now, that might be the over-engineering...like why not leave the hands out in a zip bag where you can't lose them in Intimidator Mode?
You missed the point of the comment, the over engineering I was talking about was the whole design of the transformation from truck to robot for Motormaster and the the cars to robot for the limbs. Not the joints. The whole unit's tolerances are minimal at best and the strain of moving parts past each other to shift forms leaves weakening on the plastic. The number of times I've had a fans project figure and be worried that doing the prescribed motion to shift them will break the plastic or leave stress fractures in it.. MotorMaster has already lost three tabs because you have to grind the parts past each other to get them into the right position, and I'm not a clumsy or hashy with them. Not only the tolerances but the as I said the actual form shift itself, it's OVERLY complex, it's engineering as an intellectual exercise over practical considerations much in the way the Movie figures were (Leader Jetfire, Prime from TF2 to name two).
I got it, I was saying one part was [at least] justified. You make a good point, they were trying to impress & [probably] went too far. Now I feel even better about have three of each figure. Maybe they will get you replacement parts?
I am sorry to hear yours is breaking through regular usage. To me, that would be a major reason to add all the ratcheting and it seems to have had the opposite effect. :-(
The one complaint I don't have with the engineering is the joints themselves, they do keep him standing sturdy and in position once transformed and combined into Gestalt mode. The panel movement and interlocking and tolerances are the issue. For now Menasor stands on the shelf and threatens people as they come in. The tabs are mostly where the panels lock together, so they aren't impacting two much on the robot mode, but it gives me third or fourth thoughts about transforming him. Knowing what I know now, I may purchases another and use that one as static display, one transformed to keep it good, and use the other for other things.
Though the Gestalt mode looks GREAT, but MAN! The amt of parts forming that I have to do for a $400+ to $500 aud combiner. It sucks Bull's balls. AM going for PE+CW Menasor.
I must give credit where it is due. See Transformer Wiki - G1 Menasor (tfwiki.net/wiki/Menasor_(G1)), go half way down and the caption created by a fellow user under the image where he has the gold sword is where I got it.
Well, Menasor, you'll be happy to know you're in Transformers: Devastation. Menasor: Really?! Yeah... but you'll be teaming with Devastator. Menasor: ......better than nothing, I guess.
yeah I hate to break the news to you but if you Mensor gets beaten first you go down and explode Mensor: WHAT! yeah I know I know but hey Devastator blows up to so he was a little longer or you do but hey I guess it will be a good day to die? Mensor: NO! hey at least you blow up with your big friend
Great review man. Sucks how they did the gun/arm thing tho. Personally, I don't mind him not having a gun coz Menasor was always about his big ass sword. Too bad about the height tho, I would have liked him being closer to hercules' size, as I don't like how short Hercules is either.
This set is the closest to the original than all the other Menasor sets. I like that the cab is part of the feet of Motormaster instead of the cab BEING Motormaster unlike Combiner Wars. In The TransMission Menasor, The cab gets pulled off and gets put back on the legs which makes it more partsformery than this set. At least the parts get stored and forms the back half of the trailer. I will be choosing this set as my Menasor in my collection.
I have thrown this figure in the recycle bin. The transformation is that complex that it is not a fun figure anymore. I took Diesel and broke it in half. Best thing i ever did with it.
hey emgo, did you know that there where some problems with this vid such as it is not in hd and there where no anotations on the vid... greetings from holland. p.s. does other people have the same problem with this vid(just checking that it is not a problem with my laptop..).
If Superion gets more attention, then Menasor should have just as much. If Menasor gets little-to-no attention, Superion shouldn’t get that much attention either. Watching the G1 Cartoon, it’s obvious that they’re rivals; the Stunticon were born so that the Decepticons can gain control of the roads, and then the Autobots countered that with the birth of the Aerialbots. Menasor is the one who is Superion’s rival, not say, Bruticus (pretty sure he’s paired against Defensor).
I’ve watched this many times and I don’t know why I keep on watching it, i think why is because I want the god damn figure but I can find it any were in sar
I do like the rubber traction on the bottom of the feet, a definite plus! Did anyone else get an extra piece for the gap? I didn't with all three of my Diesel figures.
this is kind of like the toy from the new Transformers game called transformers devastation and fear is what Menasor says. Menasor: you beat motormaster... Now Let's see if you can B ME!
I want to like this I really do. I just can't get past the leg bots feeling more like shin guards than actual legs. I assure you that I don't mind certain liberties taken to improve the finished product but I feel this is an instance were Fansproject may have taken it a lil to far. Awesome review though. Don't buy without seeing it on your channel first.
Frank Marzegliano Agreed it is accurate in its look. I just don't like how it was accomplished. For the most part the original combiner legs were from the knee down. My issue is that these aren't really the "legs" more just things that plug into the legs as shin guards. Deisel provides the actual legs. But of course if it works for ya that's great. Just doesn't really for me. There is no right or wrong opinion.
hey, back again, started getting the combiner wars figures, and was wondering if you'd suggest this guy over them, taking into account things like price appearance, as i'm subscirbed to a few different reviewers, but i find your reviews to be above the rest. Also, Masterming Feral rex, worth getting or not? And do you know of a good Bruticus to get, as not overly keen on the FOC one )even with upgrade kit) but dont know if theres any others. (know im asking a lot, but you a good reviewer, so please help me. Also, MORE MASCOT, had to be said :P)
Mastermind feral is totally worth getting. The cleanest kibble free transformarion of any combiner. Everything has its place and everything locks in. Even the extras! Watch emgos feral rex review again then go watch a review of any other predaking third party combiner. You will see the difference!
Anf as far as bruticus. Definately go with the warbotron. Hes huge. Hes badass. Yes he has issues but hes solid and menacing. Check emgos reviews on those five figures too. He explains any issues. If you want a great decepticon centerpiece warbotron is your man.
thanks for the reply mate. I've been looking at warbortron, and would really like to get him and feral rex, but sadly no job means no money :( but hopefully soon i'll start getting enough to get them both.
if hasbro have a figure with this much part forming, the fans will skin them alive.. but apparently not a problem when overpriced, unlicensed toy do it.. i dont understand transformer fans...
yeah even though im a fan of both hasbro and 3rd party and a aboslutely huge transformer fan in general i sitll find the complaining fans a bit annoying
OMG! Not only does Menasor look badass, but he is ANATOMICALLY CORRECT! He doesn't have a tiny torso with huge limbs like most other combos, and he actually has forward-bending ELBOWS! UBER FANGIRL
Looks way better than the G1 Menasor, but way too fiddly! I don't mind parts-forming, but that is just ridiculous! The individual guys are pretty cool, though.
Hey Emgo, this is also a scramble city style, you can swap around the limbs, carcrash and t-bone have flip up chests for the shoulder connection.
This is my third time watching this and while scrolling down the search I made a shocking discovery about the Stunticons' names. Wait, it took you that long to figure that out?
Bryan Evan
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Richard Achilles instablaster =)
@Terrell Layne i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Poor Menasor, has the least love out of the Season 1/2 G1 Combiners.
Right?? Bruticus and superion get way more pub
I get Devy being the “postercombiner” being the OG and I’m good w that but Menasor is my next fave
This playlist was so helpful. Thanks Emgo!
I can't believe this came out 4 years ago it look so awesome.
Technically ALL the Gestalts, and Duacons and Masters are parts forming to some degree or other.... Just saying Transformers has lots of parts forming in it's history.
Yes finally someone who makes the nascar reference
Thanks EmGo couldn’t have gotten this one completed without ya…looks beyond badass too
Hi emgo, I just wanted to say thank you for making these vids. I just recently purchased the not-stunticons and your vids on them made it so much easier to transform and combine them (especially Diesel and M3) Thanks again Dude! :D
I agreeeee
"You know he could kill you. Easily". " yeah and that makes me even madder" 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Awesome figure a lot of work but worth it .. I dig it
2:48 "Where's our love?"
Well, hasbro just announced a new toy for you at comic con so...
Love the combiners for transformers, especially the decepticon ones
Yeah, they always seem to be better than the Autobot ones!
Konstantin Ivanov That's because the Autobots get Omega Supreme & Metroplex.
You have a point there... but I was talking about combiners, but you're right! Metroplex is a beast!!! And Omega Supreme too!
I meant it was to balance it out, D-cons get cool combiners & A-bots get big 'uns. :-)
Hell Yeah!

Turn the hand over, turn Last Chance's waist around, and use his hips as an Elbow

Yeah, that hollow left arm looks really wonky. They could have just made a molded piece that looks like the gun piece to plug into the arm.
Rock on man
The extra gun piece is a replacement piece the hole on the handle didn't fit right so they included a piece with a correctly place hole
So u dont need Car Crash or T-Bone cause not-Motormaster already has his own legs?
Hopefully the next to try these guys. Make the cab mode to look like the G1 Motormaster. The trailer to split open like Mp10 and all the combiner bits stored in the trailer. Any figure looks better then the combiner wars honestly
I love it but its kinda annoying to me how the a huge yellow arm. It doesnt really fit the dark red, gray and black style in my opinion
Leon Grosso it fits in perfectly its just Li ke he original cartoon and toy
G R E A T *G R A M M A R*
Great review and great looking combiner. the only thing that bugs me is the gap between the chest piece and crotch it has some tabs that make it look unfinished.
What about moving the arms to their opposing sides? are the hands interchangeable?
emgo were you planning on getting the FOC not voyager onslaught figure by Microblaze?
In my opinion size comparison biggest to smallest
1. devestator
2. Bruticus (tied with #3)
3.*Predaking?? (On tv visually grows every time he combines)
4. Menasor
5. Abominus
And they should all be smaller then omega supreme and metroplex etc..
Leg transformations on combiners typically are lower effort than the arms but Stunticons really take the cake.
Problems i see with menasor is his are awkwardly colored two blocks prevent him from seeing left and right other than that he looks badass
It's strange that he could be a no-handed, giant robot, without the others O_o
.(☆♧
Excuse me?
They were going off the G1 cartoon - Motormaster w/new head and cars attached to arms and legs! :-P
LOL!
I must give credit where it is due. See Transformer Wiki - G1 Menasor (tfwiki.net/wiki/Menasor_(G1)), go half way down and the caption created by a fellow user under the image where he has the gold sword is where I got it.
as always fansproject never fails
Hey emgo. The extra piece is the piece you need because the original one that came with diesel doesn't fit the hand properly.
Bruticus sounds a bit like bane from batman dark night rises. 😂😂😂
Or turn the arm the other way so the back is facing towards the front instead and the empty forearm is Ford's the back
I'm just gonna get diesel first and might buy the other ones if I can find them for a good price
What the heck
your also in a tv show
it bothers me that the bottom cars (legs) don't transform as part of the legs, they just TAB on.
Are you gonna buy masquerade version of Menasor?
Very nice review dude.... hope I can have all set of them someday.... :-(
I was going to ask who is taller M3, or Combiner wars Menasor.
big daddy cool? DIESEL! I love it.
+Aleshov Best watch his quads, or whatever the robot equivalent of one is.
Can the cars go in any position, seems like that would with the holes they all have.
THAT YAY SOUND DID NOT SOUND LIKE YOU WHEN U TOOK THE HAND OUT FROM DEISEL
Great review man. Sucks how they did the gun/arm thing tho. Personally, I don't mind him not having a gun coz Menasor was always about his big ass sword. Too bad about the height tho, I would have liked him being closer to hercules' size, as I don't like how short Hercules is either.
fresh transformer not menasor but cool interesting to see what they are making, i think warbotron and computron looks more accurate than this
I see an armless powermaster instead of menasor's torso
This set is the closest to the original than all the other Menasor sets. I like that the cab is part of the feet of Motormaster instead of the cab BEING Motormaster unlike Combiner Wars. In The TransMission Menasor, The cab gets pulled off and gets put back on the legs which makes it more partsformery than this set. At least the parts get stored and forms the back half of the trailer. I will be choosing this set as my Menasor in my collection.
Hey how does he scale with the masterpiece transformers?
I have thrown this figure in the recycle bin. The transformation is that complex that it is not a fun figure anymore. I took Diesel and broke it in half. Best thing i ever did with it.
Also, does the left arm not spin 180 and work that way, would stop the noting ness
Well which do you like the least no combined mode gun or a flat forearm
RUN!!! DASHIEXP IS PISSED!!!!!
Why is Bruticus indian?
Lol
Hey Emgo, for your arm problem, us the half piece and then deal with the other half being the arm.
are those energon ports?
Congrats you only got deisl yesterday and you know how to combined them all
Cool figure, but I think that they should have made a bigger head for the combine mode :)
When will they make the protectobots?
TFC Toys Are Making Them
is a beast and a biggest combiner
menasor looks so cool man!
Hey friend !!
What version is better!? This version of menasor or the TFM !?
chestplate=blackjack
hey emgo,
did you know that there where some problems with this vid such as it is not in hd and there where no anotations on the vid...
greetings from holland.
p.s.
does other people have the same problem with this vid(just checking that it is not a problem with my laptop..).
oke
stijnVDA1994 it's just you
but stunticons were featured in BOTCON 2011
+Nick Arriaga Where he was voiced by DACHIE!!!!
A question, Emgo: Could the arms be reversed to solve the hollow forearm problem? Or do the waistes rotate 180? Just wondering. Great vid!
He scrambles like the G1 version you could make the other guys arms instead of legs but they don't hold as well.

I’ve watched this many times and I don’t know why I keep on watching it, i think why is because I want the god damn figure but I can find it any were in sar
Super awesome review, just gotta ask do you have the airialbots ? Their my fav combines and team from the old G1
Stunticons was in tv show
I want to like this I really do. I just can't get past the leg bots feeling more like shin guards than actual legs. I assure you that I don't mind certain liberties taken to improve the finished product but I feel this is an instance were Fansproject may have taken it a lil to far. Awesome review though. i was watching transformers episode with the stunticons and this toy is accurate to the show. the cars were basically arm and shin guards.
If it wasn't so expensive I would buy all of the combiners they look really cool I at least want hurcules or menasor or not bruticus
couldn't you just but the extra piece in to fill half the gap and then fold in one of the wheels?
Great Vid though
Did Bruticus say that he was on a video game?!
foc and wfc
We really need a bruticus to fit with the size of m3 and Hercules, or in this case minasor and devestator
hey, back again, started getting the combiner wars figures, and was wondering if you'd suggest this guy over them, taking into account things like price appearance, as i'm subscirbed to a few different reviewers, but i find your reviews to be above the rest.
Thankyou thankyou thankyou!!! You saw it to:)
Lol nice one DetctiveBarricade ;)
yeah even though im a fan of both hasbro and 3rd party and a aboslutely huge transformer fan in general i sitll find the complaining fans a bit annoying
oh gods, please tell me you can get this in the UK. PLEASE TELL ME ITS POSSIBLE!!!
You can only get these online, so almost anyone with Internet can buy it
OMG! Not only does Menasor look badass, but he is ANATOMICALLY CORRECT! He doesn't have a tiny torso with huge limbs like most other combos, and he actually has forward-bending ELBOWS! UBER FANGIRL
I like bruitcus more
Menasor you were basically transformers devastation.
Looks way better than the G1 Menasor, but way too fiddly! I don't mind parts-forming, but that is just ridiculous! The individual guys are pretty cool, though.
EmGo, you are too funny!
XXX A fan!
i thought the stuntacons where dragstrip breakdown deadend motarmaster and wildrider
Third party companies can't use the official names or they might get sued by Hasbro / Takara.
