I do think it makes those gaps look better but I am really actually thinking of selling my FP Menasor - I think he looks good but I would never want to transform him again (still get nightmares from Diesel) and I really like the look of Hasbro's "WITH" the two Perfect Effect upgrades.
I need to start collecting some more 3rd party Gestalts. I only have Herc (which is awesome) but it's a pricey business especially here in the UK. I did see the new KO Chinese version of Herc though....made me throw up in my a little. Aside from that your videos and skits are awesome and please keep on truckin'.
i know in the grand scheme of things, this add-on is a drop in the bucket, but i think it's yet another example of the problems the big-ticket, third-party combiners have: they're never really finished products. if i'm dropping between $400 and $600 dollars on these things, i want them to be complete, but there always seems to be something missing that you end up having to shell out more cash for. it can be something as inoffensive as a small company making this set, or worse, a company like TFC making you give them another $50 to complete their own sets properly. it becomes a seemingly endless cycle: you pay the high initial fee, then, an add-on becomes available to make it look better. you pay for that upgrade because you've already invested so much money in the initial set, you don't see a problem with shelling out a smaller amount to make it look better. then ANOTHER upgrade comes out, you might not want to buy it, but you feel if you don't then you've wasted all the money you already put into the set because it's not perfect yet. and on-and-on it goes.
Fair point. And I don't think this is a necessity at all. Fp menasor looks just fine without it. I was just curious to take a look and since it was only 10$ I figured it was worth a shot
