A few companies make a speed loader holster that puts your belt in between the bullets, 3 bullets on one side and 3 on the other (or a 3/2 split for 5 rounders like my M69 Combat Magnum). They conceal very well and even print less than the revolve, wearing 2 on your belt is not uncomfortable. I often carry a Ruger SP101. I sent it to Gemini Customs to be cut for moon clips. I carry a spare loaded moon clip in a Jox Kydex holster right next to the gun. Super fast to reload! I get the moon clips from TK Custom and keep a lot of them loaded with different rounds for different purposes.
hey man, I carry my Charter Arms Pro V revolver appendix IWB I carry a safariland comp 2 IWB just left of it in one of the safariland spring clip speed loader carrier. tying the bulge of the speedloader to the bulge of the revolver really helps break up the outline and the whole thing covers up nice with a t-shirt for me and my dad bod. very very concealed. I don't tuck with it because the clip hangs outside the pants and if you tucked your shirt into the speed loader carrier, it'll send your reload flying when you draw. I carry a pair of zeta 6 nested nose to nose in my pocket for topping up if I don't want to dump the whole cylinder. total round count 24 in a very concealed system.
I have to say those are awesomely cool...I don't carry my revolvers but I still might look at them...note-2 of the 3 revolvers are Vintage Colt Official Police 38 specials, so they don't see the streets anymore 😉, the 3rd is a 5 shot M85 nightstand gun...

this is my biggest gripe with revolvers they are lovely in a carry situation but reloading you are either holding golf balls or can you give me ten to 20 seconds as i fumble with my speed strip. these are wonderful and making me reconsider my carry choices
The shellshucker fans need to let up on dissing the revo-lovers. There are legit uses for all designs of handgun, from duty/defense to competitive matches to hunting to woodswalking. Different disciplines necessitate different firearms. To quote another major toober, "Old does not mean obsolete, and obsolete does not mean ineffective". I taught marksmanship (LEO/MIL) from '79 through '05 and still mentor whoever needs it (my bona-fides are available online). I became heavily invested in revolvers as well as autos because I was assigned to teach both, and was shooting IHMSA, IPSC, USPSA, PPC, Second Chance, Three-Gun, informal cowboy (I don't play dress-up) our local LEO matches which have both revolver and auto class divisions, and other disciplines. At the time, my agency was "run what ya brung" with a myriad of action types, makers and calibers; the requirement was ".38 or larger, max 4" barrel revolvers or 5" barrel autoloaders" and I had to stock ammo for literally everything from .38 S&W to .45 Colt. We finally issued an autoloader, but the agency only bought 200 of them and those who did not get one issued still presented the same logistic problem for me. During this time, I demonstrated, used in matches and carried just about every speedloader ever made. I was in the High Master class in both revo and auto divisions of our local LEO matches, and used primarily the Safariland Comp III loaders for the match-tuned M66 and later M686 that I used for the revo division, and HKS loaders for the M29 I shot in the big-bore revo side match (because Safariland are non-responsive ass-hats and will not make a .44 N-Frame Comp III, and the Comp I they do make is crap). In my 28 years at that agency, besides the Training Division, I did stints in Patrol, CID, Warrants, Organized Crime unit and Internal Affairs. I was also either a Counter-Sniper or team leader in every iteration of the SWAT Team that came along. My usual carry in the out-of-uniform jobs was a parts-built match 1911 in .45 ACP or .400 Cor-Bon, a 3" Bulldog or 4" M29. My build allowed me to easily conceal the full-size pistols and mags/loaders so the only time I resorted to speed strips was in shorts & T-shirt gigs. But when those came around, I drilled incessantly with the contrary little things before relying on them. Once we received the new autoloader, a SIGPRO 2340 in .357 SIG, and I got everyone transition-trained to it, I carried it for all duties. I was also in the TXARNG and worked as the Opns NCO and instructor in the SARTS at the State HQ, and competed in the AG's and higher Pistol, Rifle, and Sniper disciplines, earning my Distinguished Pistol badge, points toward Distinguished Rifle, the Governor's Twenty in every match I fired in all three of those competitions, and the Chief's Fifty in Sniper. I had too much on my plate to add the LMG matches. One of our big projects was teaching transition PMI on then M9 when it started replacing the 1911 at the NG level. I developed a cordial hatred of the M9 which persists to this day. Upon retiring, I immediately started reserving in another agency, and after 8 years of that, they asked me to go fulltime, which I did for the next 5-1/2 years until an off-duty injury wrecked both my rotator cuffs. During that time, I was a patrolman and carried either my 1911, an M29-2, a Springfield XD45 on night shift (because it has a light and I like the 13-round magazines), or a new toy, a 4" M625-8 Miculek. This revo uses either full moon clips with .45 ACP or speedloaders with .45 Auto Rim, and I carried both in my duty belt. A duty-style speedloader pouch holds TWO loaded full-moon clips. In two double speedloader carriers, I had five clips of 230 gr Gold Dots, one of 230 gr hardball, and one speedloader of .45 Auto Rim with the Speer shot capsules meant for .45 Colt. I also shifted from the M686 and the M29 to the M625 for the Revo and Big Bore matches; for that I used the MP Molds 235 grain HBWC in AR cases and the HKS loaders or in ACP brass with moon clips. Either way, I never - NEVER - got whistle-bit because of "having to" do a revolver reload; I frequently loaded faster than the shooters with shellshuckers. Said all that to say this: I know a thing or two about reloading a revo. I'll be watching for Wrapid to bring out a 5-round .44 SPL, an N-Frame .41 Mag (asking for a friend), N-Frame .357 and .44 Mag, and a K-Frame .32-20, as well as models sufficient to cover other "non-typical" revos. BTW Tuff Products version of speed strips are very affordable and available in a useful range of rim diameters and round counts. They work really well for SA revolvers and leverguns. BTW again, the otherwise useless MaxFire rubber loaders (they lose rounds no matter how you carry them and fling rounds when you load a revo with them) about semi-worked for an oddball application about which I'd been bugging HKS: The 1905j/4 K-Frame in .32-20. I like to carry the little gem when woodswalking with my B53 in that caliber. The rims are too big for .32 S&W loaders and too small for K-38 loaders. They will work with the Tuff 9mm strips, but I wanted a legit speedloader. It turns out that they will somewhat retain in the MaxFire K-38 model if not rough-handled and release the longish rounds without puking them all over the terrain as the other caliber models do. Just sayin'.
I think I may have seen a vid for a prototype of these several years back. Bummed that the five rd loaders are sold out, but I was able to order an SL for my S&W 686 Plus. Currently using H&K for my 686P and Speedbeez for my Ruger LCR, carried in Jox pouches. I wear them upside down to minimize printing.
My first handgun was a revolver, a charter arms .44 special to be specific; so im looking-forward for the .44 special variant of that speedloader. Looks ideal, never even heard of speed strips before, definately an ironic name 😂
OMG, how come I have never heard of these before? When he zipped this thing off and spun that cylinder my jaw dropped!
I was thinking the same thing. I need a couple for my J frame air weight.
Rounds set about .5” - .75” out of cylinder, hence why the rip release. So the rounds spin and settle in cylinder.
And I just thought it was a handle for a moon clip.
Right? I stay pretty up to date on new products AND have a soft spot for wheel guns but this? I was like WHUUUUT. This changes everything 😁

Speed strips I have carried but am not a big fan of the device but they are flat and compact !
I’ve been using Zeta6 K-Paks with my revolver. They carry well in a pocket and work well loading 3 at tug. I will definitely look closer at these, however…
I often carry a Ruger SP101.
What an awesome idea man
bruh that was some SWEET ACTION this shit is amazing!!
I remember conceptualizing something exactly like this when I was a kid a few decades ago now. Wow finally.
Definitely a game-changer!
That's pretty cool!
I would be very interested in this in an 8 round variant for the S&W 627. At that point it makes sense to me to carry a revolver.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer says No, too many rounds = too much movement in the loader. Wouldn’t work right.
@@Redpitbull44They could make it work. And if they do not, the market will.
I have to say those are awesomely cool...I don't carry my revolvers but I still might look at them...note-2 of the 3 revolvers are Vintage Colt Official Police 38 specials, so they don't see the streets anymore 😉, the 3rd is a 5 shot M85 nightstand gun...
in the defence of speed strips, at least your rounds are all in the same place.
but this new stuff is really cool.
Wow! That is a really clever design. I’m going to have to find one of those.
I was literally trying to design folding speed loaders! Thease are amazing!
Very cool, thanks for sharing this info.
Its about fucken time these hit the market. They've been around since the 80s if not earlier
…hence ‘innovation’: SEMI’s. But it is a nice collection of Revolvers. (I do have several myself..generally Single-action Colt and Colt-type). The wife’s is an SP-101..FINE wheelgun.
This looks awesome!
bro carries a massive revolver and worries about his speed loaders printing lmao
Great device, I have the 5 shot variant. I hope someone makes a holster for them that doesn’t have to worn on your belt to use one handed.
I carry my revolver often in beltless outfits, so some kind of pocket holster would be great.
God dang I literally have a drawing of this I thought I had a game changer no one else had thought of
this is my biggest gripe with revolvers they are lovely in a carry situation but reloading you are either holding golf balls or can you give me ten to 20 seconds as i fumble with my speed strip. these are wonderful and making me reconsider my carry choices
Pretty damn COOL!!! Keep me posted when the 7-shot comes out.
That's really nice! My local police chief carries a wheel gun. Will share this with him!
One of the best speed loader systems was the one used with the Webley revolvers which incidentally ejected the empty shells when opened.
Like the Schofield.
@@kutter_ttl6786 That was one S&W I always wanted but alas, it won't happen in the UK now.
That loader is bad to the bone! I’ve never seen anything like this. I really like it.
That is absolutely brilliant!
My first handgun was a revolver, a charter arms .44 special to be specific; so im looking-forward for the .44 special variant of that speedloader. Looks ideal, never even heard of speed strips before, definately an ironic name 😂
They have a .44 magnum 6-shot loader now on their website.
Ah, you mean their standard speed loader, not the one shown here.
