I remember being there for his 2,000th hit. I was there when they made it to the World Series (when he jumped on the pike if teammates). I was there for his farewell game. I grew up watching on the field, he retired when I was just about to turn 17, so I've only known the Rockies with Helton on the team. He will always be the best player for the Rockies, and he was one of the best in the entire league during his final years.
