I know this is a little late 8 years late most likely but God Todd helton you were one of the greatest Rocky players of all time I wear 17 because of the time that I got to see you play reminding me of spending time with my dad you may not have a world series but you got my devotion as a fan always

He truly was a terrific 1st baseman throughout his entire 17 year career with Colorado. I'm an Indians fan, but I am also a fan of baseball as well. Todd Helton's #17 should be retired and I think he's worthy of being a first-ballot HoF. I tip my cap to Todd on a stellar career in the major leagues.
We enjoyed going to Rockies Photo Day at spring training for several years. One of my favorite pictures is of Todd and myself. I always tell people that when I stood next to Todd and put my arm around him I was amazed at what shape he was in. He was solid as a rock. We will always think of him that way, as a player and as a man.
He needs to be in the hall of fame.
Every moment With Todd Father was a huge difference in the Rockies. Todd Father you are God of baseball!
