      Yes since there isnt much out there your vids are a godsend and will definitely use that as a guide. One think I want to mention since you bring it up in one of your vids, I do have some decals that will cover the "x-pro" but not to make it look like a kawasaki. I have some tigershark decals (like from military aircraft... Mine look just like the Flying Tigers' P40s) that I think are going to look pretty sick on the tank red bike. An homage to my love for military aviation too lol. I'm not going to shy away from what it really is though lol.

    I was going to get a sport bike from venom but from what you said they cut corners and honestly if something did go wrong with the bike like warranty wise I don’t really think they will hold true to their 1 year warranty.
    I’ve had a DF50SST first starting out and it was a good bike honestly BUT little things like headlights, speedometer, performance CDI went bad all these little things can be annoying and honestly from my point of view I don’t think venom bikes are 100% safety rated and checked ✅

    I ordered a KPM 200, and came to find out my clutch was missing 2 plates, they proceeded to put the blame on me for not checking the bike or paying their 300-dollar fee for assembly. Although they helped me get new parts, they refused to pick up the labor and finally, I forced them to chip in. Never in my life have a dealt with such shitty customer service.

    • @DOHowen
      @DOHowen  Год назад +2

      Sorry to hear that happened to you. At least you got some type of result, not many people who had an issue with them can say that. This is not a beginner bike. There are lots of used bikes that are cheaper, faster, more reliable and just better. But if you want to spend most of your time working on a bike, improving and spending $$ then buy this bike. Ok first off you don’t know what you are talking about. You have never bought a bike from Venom. You bought it from another company then put down Venom?? I know Venom very well. Maybe reach out and talk to someone before you start digging a company. Venom never ships a bike laying down. But it will have 6 forklift drivers hammering against it till it is delivered. So if it shows up on its side it is a shipping issue. I can help you fix anything on any of the Chinese bikes. Venom warranties parts on each bike for a year. And you have customer service and tech to help with all other problems. Before dogging do some research. I’ve been working on all bikes for 30 years. Including Venom’s bikes

    • @DOHowen
      @DOHowen  Год назад +1

      It's definitely a good point on how many people are involved with the shipping, and I have been more than upfront about my role here. But as people post issues and photos about a company, there is something going on that needs to be said. I'm glad you are a fan of venom, but know not everyone has good experience with them.

    • @DOHowen
      @DOHowen  Год назад

      Also, you make another good point, I will reach out to them about the clams being made on the forums. I really think they are having quality control issues. I don't think this has been common with them in the past and hopefully not in the future.

      I don't like the fact that they offer you bikes if you agree to give them positive reviews no matter what to help them sell bikes. If it is indeed true, that is just bad business especially if it is putting people's lives at risk. First it was Yammie Noob, and I see they gave Cars and Camera's guys bikes as well. Don't know if they were offered the same deal but after Yammie's video, people will question.

  • @karigilbert1984
    @karigilbert1984 9 месяцев назад

    For all the different things that you have to do and know about bikes this is not a beginner bike. I got a KTM, paid 8k and not had a single issue. Just changed the oil regularly. If your going to constantly work on a bike go work in a shop where at least you'll get paid. Also my KTM has way more power and is lighter than the Venmon, and is water cooled.

    • @DOHowen
      @DOHowen  9 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, but like you said, you paid 8k for it. Also if you financed it, now you have to have full coverage on the bike. I paid less than 3k (including taking a rider safety course) and only pay $80 a year for insurance. For as much or as little as I ride, this was a better option.

    • @karigilbert1984
      @karigilbert1984 8 месяцев назад

      @@DOHowen I pay $70 full coverage for a year. I saved and paid it for all at once. If you watch the video you will need to purchase a torque wrench, and an oil cooler assembly, after market parts, specialty tools, assorted brackets. I personally want to spend my time riding my new bike not spending weeks working and waiting on parts for it. Also these chinese bikes are impossible to get parts for.
