My Xpro 250: amzn.to/3NBNuoc
Just ordered one of these and have been going through your videos. I really appreciate you making them. It is my first motorcycle in addition to something I cant just pull into my local dealership if I have an issue.
I'm glad you like them. Definitely check out my oil change video. Ride safe.
Yes since there isnt much out there your vids are a godsend and will definitely use that as a guide. One think I want to mention since you bring it up in one of your vids, I do have some decals that will cover the "x-pro" but not to make it look like a kawasaki. I have some tigershark decals (like from military aircraft... Mine look just like the Flying Tigers' P40s) that I think are going to look pretty sick on the tank red bike. An homage to my love for military aviation too lol. I'm not going to shy away from what it really is though lol.
What do you think about the x22R MAX
I've use powersportsmax twice with no issues at all, venom is over priced and have gone way down hill lately, I found a local lifan dealer and went with them for my first bike
Thank you for your comment. I agree as well. I feel that they can work harder at trying to provide better customer support as well. I will also be using a local dealer next time I get a bike. Ride safe.
Yes I can hear you just perfect I'm really looking forward to purchasing the bike I hope you can get with me on this purchase
@@MarcusZuniga-bk3rk Check out the links in the descriptions of my videos. That is who I went through and I have nothing but good things to say so far, and it's been a year now since I have had the bike.
obviously you know alot about the bike or motorcycles in general. if i do purchase would you please walk me threw what u did to yours, anything thats not made of steel and hit a pot hole, dam sorry to hear that i know ive had my share, i try not to ride at night unless i know the roads and holes but dam my heart goes out to homeboy about his bike
I guess I'm lucky, cuz I had 2 one 50cc and one 200 cc
And no problem..with it! The only thing the muffler keep breaking off..now I'm goin to get one from SCOOTER INPORTS ILL,..here in L.A
Let see how it goes!!
Im saving up for the venom x18 50cc auto
Man I bought this bike in December and I brought it to Texas. I hit a pot hole the bike has completely stopped working. I have tried taking this bike to repair shops and nobody will touch this bike. They say it's crap which now I'm going to agree. I don't recommend buying these bikes especially if nobody will touch these bikes. Thanks for the information man!
That's the biggest issue. You have to be your own mechanic. No shop will touch them.
@@DOHowenI want to thank you for this video! It was just in time though. I was trying to figure out where to get another bike. I will try the place in Fort Worth! 👍
@redraider122 I'm glad it helped.
Japanese shops won't touch them do to parts are not readily available.
i know of a mechanic actually a couple of them that work out of homes. good people, hit me up i live in san antonio
I can hear u please update with valve adjustment video and oil cooler
Yes, now that summer is here, Ill have more time for video updates.
Hey I want to get a motorcycle, I want a ninja clone or a Chinese sport bike, do you have any websites that have good reviews and I can buy from? I also live in california
I was going to get a sport bike from venom but from what you said they cut corners and honestly if something did go wrong with the bike like warranty wise I don’t really think they will hold true to their 1 year warranty.
I’ve had a DF50SST first starting out and it was a good bike honestly BUT little things like headlights, speedometer, performance CDI went bad all these little things can be annoying and honestly from my point of view I don’t think venom bikes are 100% safety rated and checked ✅
Go to a local dealer or order from Amazon. That way you will have support if anything goes wrong with it.
@@DOHowen your X-pro still running great ?
I ordered a KPM 200, and came to find out my clutch was missing 2 plates, they proceeded to put the blame on me for not checking the bike or paying their 300-dollar fee for assembly. Although they helped me get new parts, they refused to pick up the labor and finally, I forced them to chip in. Never in my life have a dealt with such shitty customer service.
Sorry to hear that happened to you. At least you got some type of result, not many people who had an issue with them can say that. That why I think going through a local distributed or like me Amazon, allow you to have more control when issues come up. Hope your bike is good now, and ride safe.
Thank you for all the good information 🏍️ 🙌🏻✨

Awesome, thank you!
Why put the stock exhaust back on?
Didn't. I just used a photo from my ride to Eland that was before I pit the new exhaust on. Trying to make a cover photo that looked Canadian, lol 😆
When are you going to upload the oil cooler install video
I still haven't had time to install it yet. Hopefully soon, ill get out in to the shop to work on it.
would you recommend me buying the the 250cc x-pro roadster off the x-pro website itself ?
Yeah, there is no issue doing it. Just know that they probably will not give much customer support. I would also say don't use the money order option.
Buy Japanese….dont be an idiot
The pronoun for this machine is: Moped😂
My friend here's my commendation
40mm carburetor
Racing no limiter cdi
Racing ignition coil
Port and polish intake, exhaust cylinders head
Stage 3 camshaft upgrade
Big valve cylinders head
Clutch spring 5
Me too we have a same motorcycle my friend
This upgrade will squeeze out some juice on that motor
Hahahw
lol a little much definitely, plus its EFI. Point taken though.
@@DOHowen i convert it to cdi much cheaper than ecu
@@DOHowen it's not hard to convert though just gonna find the pulser, ground, ignition coil, positive i just used 4 pin Racing cdi from pitsbike Hahaha try it my friend i highly recommend
@leohilary4685 Thank you. I'll look into it. I've only done a bit to it so far, but I will keep upgrading as time goes on.
i ordered mine and it came from california. but this was a year ago. came on a pallet with metal frame and strapped down. boom bd250-5
Same here. Thats why I am skeptical of the Canadian dealers.
Just bought new Xpro 250 . How do you access the air filter? Your videos are very helpful.
Its on the side under the seat.
So i gotta ask, before any mods how fast were you able to go? Because i want to get a bike like this thatll be comfortable going over 60mph without it being a hassle. I was looking at this bike and the X22r Max but idk which would be better for more speed. Any suggestions or anything you could tell me?
It will do 80MPH out of the box, depending on the weight of the rider.
I just got the X22r Max it has done 85 so far easily
@@SPADESCTVI’m about to buy the same thing, thank you for saying how fast it goes because I was wanting the most fastest motorcycle on Amazon and the X22r max looked it could be the one
Where can I get the gear shift mine bent
Here is a link to one. amzn.to/3T30ve4
Wait are you from Boerne? I live in Boerne
SA, but I ride out there all the time.
Interesting. TY. Sounds like a lot of time and effort ($) to make it decent.
Very welcome
do they deliver this bike to puerto rico?
Im not sure.
Where did you get this from?
I ordered from amazon amzn.to/49ZVDMd
Please do a oil cooling video
I have one up. I hope it helps.
Im so confused some vlogs say its good or ok and some say its not worth it I am a first time beginner and was looking into venom they have a location warehouse in Anaheim but if i should save up for a Ninja 500 to start off with could you recommend
The bike is good, just not fast. if you are in the city only get the xpro. If you are going down I-5 at all, get the Ninja 500.
This is not a beginner bike. There are lots of used bikes that are cheaper, faster, more reliable and just better. But if you want to spend most of your time working on a bike, improving and spending $$ then buy this bike. I personally bought a KTM Duke 690 back in 2015 for about 8k.There's plenty of new beginner bikes in th 2-3I range.
@DOHowen I just got one blk and doing the oil change with Mobile 1 4t 10/40w but how many quarts does it take
Damn I wanted to cop that new 200cc they have
Just be careful, and this just might be a phase they are going through.
@@DOHowen okay
Ok first off you don’t know what you are talking about. You have never bought a bike from Venom. You bought it from another company then put down Venom?? I know Venom very well. Maybe reach out and talk to someone before you start digging a company. Venom never ships a bike laying down. But it will have 6 forklift drivers hammering against it till it is delivered. So if it shows up on its side it is a shipping issue. I can help you fix anything on any of the Chinese bikes. Venom warranties parts on each bike for a year. And you have customer service and tech to help with all other problems. Before dogging do some research. I’ve been working on all bikes for 30 years. Including Venom’s bikes
It's definitely a good point on how many people are involved with the shipping, and I have been more than upfront about my role here. But as people post issues and photos about a company, there is something going on that needs to be said. I'm glad you are a fan of venom, but know not everyone has good experience with them.
Also, you make another good point, I will reach out to them about the clams being made on the forums. I really think they are having quality control issues. I don't think this has been common with them in the past and hopefully not in the future.
Their website won't come up on any browser on my computers. That's not health to me.
Sketchy mfs in general
I don't like the fact that they offer you bikes if you agree to give them positive reviews no matter what to help them sell bikes. If it is indeed true, that is just bad business especially if it is putting people's lives at risk. First it was Yammie Noob, and I see they gave Cars and Camera's guys bikes as well. Don't know if they were offered the same deal but after Yammie's video, people will question.
For all the different things that you have to do and know about bikes this is not a beginner bike. I got a KTM, paid 8k and not had a single issue. Just changed the oil regularly. If your going to constantly work on a bike go work in a shop where at least you'll get paid. Also my KTM has way more power and is lighter than the Venmon, and is water cooled.
I agree, but like you said, you paid 8k for it. Also if you financed it, now you have to have full coverage on the bike. I paid less than 3k (including taking a rider safety course) and only pay $80 a year for insurance. For as much or as little as I ride, this was a better option.
@@DOHowen I pay $70 full coverage for a year. I saved and paid it for all at once. If you watch the video you will need to purchase a torque wrench, and an oil cooler assembly, after market parts, specialty tools, assorted brackets. I personally want to spend my time riding my new bike not spending weeks working and waiting on parts for it. Also these chinese bikes are impossible to get parts for.
@@karigilbert1984dude, please shut tf up, get what u like and move on with ur life. It’s ur opinion, no one wants to pay 8k for a bunker bike, when we can pay under 3k. And have the parts readily available to us by dowen giving us the links to everything. If u don’t agree then bye
I wouldn't buy from orion I have the gtt 250 and had them assemble it the gas tank leaks under a bracket which is a bad weld on the tank a manufacturing defect. I sent video of it leaking. Supposedly have a year warranty from them contacted them they wanted me to ship my gas tank to them on my dime with no guarantee of getting it back I asked if they were high there was no way I was doing that. So stay far away from orion.
Good to know. I don't recommend sending a part back. If it breaks, should be able to send a picture and have a replacement part sent to you at no cost.
I'll find out for myself id prefer to do whatever I want not some utuber who gets thire stuff free
