ranger is one of the CV with high dps in the game. the biggest problem are the stat rarity and glass cannon. but if you bring both sandy and seattle AA is very godlike.
Its normal to be good. 2 Dive bombers + qiuck takeoff is not bad at all. Overall Dive bombers are better vs Boss then torps. I dont know why so many people take Ark Royal into this - I would take Sara Retro instead. The problem with torps is that most are going to miss (you are going to hit with 2-3 from squad) while bombs have higher chance of hitting.
@@farandapriza1524 No, because converging torp can all hit when DB is kinda RNG at whether or not they can actually hit... With the right slow/stop setup you can hit all Ryuusei and deal insane damage. But again, that can be ruined if your average boss move at the right direction for a right distance... DB is easier to use but lower damage, TB is harder to use but deal insane damage if all hit (which is possible)
Bombers are rng focused, they either miss or hit, dive bombers are better for bossing if you don't use converging torps, dive bombers focused ships are better for mob, If your Torpedoes are missing, use ships that give slow debuff to enemies like Ark Royal and Centaur

LoL U am new player (one week playing) and I use in vanguard cassin downes and Shiranui all 3 gray girls, in the back I have Ranger, Pennsylvania and the last spot I normally use Erubus or Nelson, when I use Nelson isn't a single elite or higher in my fleet and cassin downes Shiranui and Ranger all have retrofit ;3 For now they are helping me to go forward and farm a lot because low oil cost I have other ships actually got all the Italian event ships and have many of the yellow girls but I am waiting to see if I get at less 2 more copies of them to don't waste Xp if I can not full limit break them

ark royal are better focus fire with slow. the thing are centaur are ligh CV whie ark royal are CV. but both are good.
May be they think if the torp will drop first meanwhile the DB can probably die before drop the bomb with AA so they think the effective is torp

This is why Hood is hard to replace for me...
Just look at those barrages every salvo😂😂😂...
And the reload boost on barrage adds up when it procs so often
