We are going through a lot of the same things, I really feel like crying looking at this because I lost my baby 2 years to a car accident because I was idolizing my job. He put it in my head to call off work that morning but I didn't listen because HOLIDAY PAY WAS ON MY MIND MORE THAN ACTUALLY HAVING A STABLE BABYSITTER! Amen. It took me years but in 2019 I decided to follow Jesus fully and not half way. I found my identity in Christ. In 2024, my relationship is stronger than ever and I am free from the past. It only gets better and growth is step by step. God is the true redeemer.
I loved this ! I’m 23 years old as well and I’m just starting to find my identity with Christ myself. I find so much joy when talking about God and listening to gospel music during my workouts. It truly helps me get through everything.
Thank you for this impactful video. I'm 31 and just had a breakup, and God used your video to show me where my identity lies. It was in being a good/nice girlfriend, friend, and employee. When I struggled in those areas, I thought it was only because I needed boundaries, but my identity was in those roles instead of who God says I am.
I’m dealing with having my identity in the wrong places and I’m allowing God to put my identity truly in him Because it can be easy to put ur identity in so many other things that aren’t God. I also feel like ppl don’t talk about this as much . Bc having ur identity in the wrong things can really affect ur relationship with God and others.

hey Marie!!! so, to answer your question, as of today, i can gladly say that my identity is in Christ. years ago, just like you did, i put my worth and identity into how productive i was or who my close circle was, and that's not how it works. now, by the grace and glory of God, i run to Him, my bible, or worship when i feel myself stumbling or trying to fall back into old unhealthy habits because they were familiar. lastly, i do my best to remember that i don't need to be perfect and that His love constantly surrounds me. thank you for this video and for forwarding the spread of the gospel. 🤎🤎🤎
