    the best Beast of burden lesson as i can tell. Thanks a lot from Spain. There is a live version from 1981, realease as the B side on the Going to a go go 7" where Ronnie plays the solo especially inspired.

    Thanks Jon. I’m learning a lot from these lessons. I always see guitar players using there thumb for chords so it great to have a detailed breakdown like this

    John, thanks a bunch. Just hearing the song helped get me started. But I've picked up traveling down the neck and restarting to travel down the neck in Progression. Always wondered how that was done. Keep the lessons coming.Really starting to sound like music from my fingers.

    Nice lick makes it relatively easy to sound like I can actually play the guitar. Thanks for the nice choice and demonstration.

    You perfectly configured the amp. What are the settings or do you use a pedal?

    • @jonmaclennan
      @jonmaclennan  4 года назад +2

      Thank you! I just used a line 6 M5 pedal that has a phaser sound in it. Then into my old 65 Princeton you can see in the video. Audio is off one room mic that’s it. Thanks for watching. ✌️🎸

    Jon..Great lesson.It is my understanding most of the ROLLING STONES songs are in open G tuning.
    Are you in standard tuning for Beast of Burden?
    Thanks

    • @jonmaclennan
      @jonmaclennan  3 года назад +1

      I'm in standard on this video. Yes Keith did use open G a lot. Here is a video you might like that I did on a secret Keith Richards guitar tuning: ruclips.net/video/WYH8M-XfeWc/видео.html
