This is exactly why I HATE making quick decisions. Someone is like... hey want to to go the pub on Saturday? My thought process isn't like "Sure, why not." It may be like that on the surface but in reality it is like... who is coming? - do I get along with them? - what time? - what will traffic be like that day? - what is the best route? what do I have to do that day? - where will we sit because I want to have a good view of the game? - what are they serving that day? - what we will talk about? - who else may in the bar? - do I have to prefer myself for a noisy night? - do I have the energy to put up with annoying people that day? - what do I have to do the next day?... and on and on... and it can be a lot of overload at that time. So I take my time before answering, but people can be assured that if I say I am coming. Then I am coming.

INFJ´s don´t have low energy, we just are like submarine ferraris, we go deep and we go fast! this is why our gas deposit becomes empty in no time and we need to chose carefully the things we dive in. Our minds are as powerful thinking deeply and widely as a powerlifter is powerfull lifting a car from the ground, because we are able to use our full brain capacity in each thought and perception (holistic thinking), this is why it just feels too much sometimes and seemingly incomprehensible for most, this is why we are permanently discarding our own realizations when most of other personalities could become literally rich by selling them to the world (we cannot do it because we cannot stick with an idea much time and thus things just lie and evolve there in the mental plane).
@@1igonin Such interesting and valid viewpoint, thank you for sharing it 🫶🏻 I have actually once dived in that world of “people selling their knowledge and becoming rich” (I will hopefully talk about it in my next videos), believe me, it’s not as good as it looks like from the surface, and a lot of questions in regards to ethical side of it pop up as well, which at least was quite stressful for me 😶🌫️ Just sharing thing from my life experience ✌🏻I relate to “cannot stick to idea” too, I myself shifted a lot of topics throughout 3 years of leading this channel. @@AGhere From some time now I realized indeed we need to learn to surrender upon encountering moment to moment opposites, as surrender is the only way such opposites can be made coherent and peace realized in ones heart. I think the past self never truly disappears. it either fades out in the background and or one oversteps it with something greater. because if you "literally" killed your past self, then we have a time paradox 😅
@@Rokas.Misingevicius sure, it’s just a metaphor. I’m personally following what my child self once used to like, that is one of past self versions in a way
For the real, saved, born again christian, this is exactly what happens to all of them. This is exactly what baptism is symbolic of is having already experienced the death of one's past so that they Rise Again into the new life and become a brand new creature born from above Thomas supernaturally and externally by the power of God So this personality characteristic definition is quite interesting and curious to me, as though it's defining a rare and distinct personality type out of 16 possibilities, is that where this come from? This is the new and interesting concept because as a born-again regenerated believer in christ, this is something elementary, foundational, essential, it's the starting point and the beginning of the entry into the kingdom of heaven and without it, there is no entry and nothing else can happen. In fact you can't even begin to see the kingdom of heaven without dying to yourself and being born again through faith in Christ Finally, just to be clear, there are millions of people who call themselves Christians that have never experienced this according to what Jesus said that they are not saved and not really Christians so what I am saying does not apply to them
@@7x779 Calling people that undergo individuation "Christians" tells that you're not (in the least) familiar with Jung and his work (on whose book the 16 personalities test was founded). I would kindly advise you read The Red Book. Because, as you correctly point out in your comment the process of the (ego)death being the necessary step towards the actual "salvation", you're missing the whole point that by following in his footsteps (experiencing death/crucifixion), one no longer imitates but becomes Christ (rather than a Christian). Again, reading the book would clarify this in a thorough manner. "But if I am truly to understand Christ, I must realize how Christ actually lived only his own life, and imitated no one. He did not emulate any model. If I thus truly imitate Christ, I do not imitate anyone, I emulate no one, but go my own way, and I will also no longer call myself a Christian."
Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. I think you are right on target, as far as us INFJ’s. There is sort of a killing of your immature uninsightful self. Wisdom, and insight require experiences, even traumatic experiences. We use these as stepping stones to build courage and a protective shield once we learn our lessons. To us INFJs, we introspect so much that we use every thought, every experience, friendship, attachment and we dissect it, at least I do. We use it as a stepping stone for our future, not as a death sentence. We can maybe be stuck for a bit but we regain strength, this inner fortitude that I believe, is from God and our connection with Him, and we get up and use all that baggage to become better people and help others when we can, without letting them destroy us. This is one of the reasons why I think we are fewer and much more different than most personality types. We don’t crumble at the first sight of pain. We just tackle it head on.
@@Sky-hd4ji Greatly written and very on point! We also often feel ourselves alone in all of it, sadly, not everyone gets the way how we see and perceive life. But I guess there is another greater lesson - for a greater power within to be found

Shedding the skin of ignorance to grow into new flesh of understanding all the while understanding the place of misunderstanding. This my first experience with you, and your beautiful mind’s eye. I like that term “killing my old self” not quite murder, not quite suicide, but whole lot of rebirth. I’ll never stop being awoken, after understanding that I wasn’t awake. This is getting off topic so I’ll end it here before it turns into a whole long ass thing. Nice to come into contact with your wisdom.
As an older recently discovered Infj, I think early on we set some basic rules that we tend to follow very rigidly. Once those are set it's something we automatically follow no matter the situation. I think it's a problem especially when trying to change oneself.
@@Barot8 as younger INFJ, I relate strongly and can agree. Some of people are writing me comments here, referring to my “values” and “thinking” to be rigid and not open-minded enough. While I understand where they come from, I don’t neglect my personal need for more consistency and structure in my life. I know that these are not always guaranteed in life, though we could be trying our best to have it. So we learn to become more flexible in life too.
Really appreciate you for making this. It’s not easy to feel understood as an INFJ ❤ would love it if you could make a video about making friends as an infj
My insights come from my deep connection with many INFJs over the years. INFJs often have a strong tendency to model after thus lacking a distinct personal identity. This is likely due to their insecurities.
So I am someone who recently came into the knowledge of INFJ and how it helps me understand my brain. Doing so without any awareness of INFJ, I have been moving this way for a very long time as young as I remember. I have been through a cycle of Birth, Life, and Death with my mental, emotional, spiritual, physical body. Like the story of Resurrection. Ive died so many times to the lower states of myself that Ive seen that it has all been to the greater glory our Creator has planned for their/ it's (it's hard to speak about God in such a short setting) Childern. But anyway your video is exactly my experience, everything is shattered in higher states of awareness. All areas of experience are taken in to trial and weighed to this new state of understanding. Every thing is either life or death. This thought, this relationship, this way of going about something, this way of feeling.... Any way before this gets longer Thank You Captain.

This is something that we have been clashing heads over with ENFPs, who seem to take things more easily. I know that above things I mentioned are not always guaranteed in chaotic and changing life we living, but everyone could be trying their best to have it, if they want to (INFJs really need it for their peace of mind). I’m as well learning to become more flexible in life and my values also change as I mature and gain more knowledge/experience. But yeah, all in all, I believe there are always things to work on for everyone
*I love how you responded to that! You are such a cool person!* 😎🔥❤️ Did you know I tested as *INFJ* yesterday? I was so tired after all the answers, but I couldn't believe I became an INFJ! I posted my reaction and results in real-time on TikTok ### My Cognitive Functions: - *Ni:* 64.06% - *Ne:* 60.56% - *Si:* 53.19% - *Fe:* 50.88% - *Ti:* 50.19% - *Fi:* 48.75% It feels weird because I relate to many aspects of INFJ, but with a stronger emphasis on *Ni* and *Ne* . I don’t get stuck in my head about who I am; instead, I constantly change my moral compass on a daily basis. I have a strong *Si* with *Fe*, which helps me tap into people’s perspectives and emotions. *Fe* always leads to “what is best for all,” giving me a good radar for tuning into the group I'm in with strong *Si*. It’s kind of like *Fi* without its hard edges. Overall, I think I'm a pretty unusual kind of INFJ- *extremely SPACY!* I'm less prone to let *Ti* ruin me or *Ni* drain me. With *Ne* in second place, I tend to explore more with high emotional intensity instead of diving deep into understanding. Since *INFP/ENFP* types have strong *Ne* and *Si*, I often come off as an “ENFP/INFP,” but in reality, I'm an *INFJ* with high-energy intensity that doesn’t fit the typical INFJ stereotype: *Most INFJ* Structured, composed, and slow-talking, with highly compressed information that gets easily drained by overload. *Me* - I’m hyper-excited about the smallest things, often with a very unstructured, satirical speech that doesn’t always make sense but is funny as hell. *It’s like a “welcome to the show”* when conversing with me! “Where can I mentally take you today? I’m here to blow your mind with my inner rich world and make you laugh at your own life!” I tend to express my INFJ-ness in a very *“heart-on-the-sleeve”* / *“open book”* kind of way. I don’t waste time on “my identity.” Instead, I embrace aspects of *INFP* and *ENFP* : > “Yeah, I’m probably psychotic, straight out of the mental hospital… I know people think I’m dumb. So let me make you laugh at it too! Just to let y’all know what a crazy PSYCHO I am!” While I do have that typical INFJ side of “No one knows the real me,” I also have a rebellious *ENFP/INFP* vibe that says: “Hey, look at me! You see how crazy I am? Aren’t you laughing too? Just wait until I blow your mind with some sick art you’ve never seen!” *I think most INFJs would be like:* “No one knows the real me, and I try so hard to fit in…” While I’m like that, I express the hidden parts of the stereotype: - I’m less about telling you what to do with your life and more about listening and exploring options, like an INFJ, but in a more optimistic and less blunt way. Yeah, I can see myself as an INFJ. It was already on the horizon from the last test I did four months ago, which suggested I was *ENFP/INFP/INFJ* (all within less than 1% of each type). ### Like you mentioned in your video: I relate to that “fundamental change” for a bigger cause. I experience periodic paradigm shifts every 3-6 months. But you can change my mind in one day: - *“Ayyy guys, I’m opening a comedy RUclips channel!”* - with dark, high-drug vibes. - *“Actually, no! I wanna be 100% clean! I’m writing a book and becoming a good chef!”* - *“No, actually, I wanna travel to Japan and become a Buddha! THIS IS WHO I AM NOW!”* While it might take an INFJ 6-12 months to reach such conclusions, that’s just me living life every day! People who know me love me, but they often say, “They don’t know me…” *So, who am I? What are my core morals?* I’m figuring that out every single day! So let’s all laugh about it! 😎🔥✨
Sorry if I spammed some comments, trying to figure why it’s not getting accepted my Google!: Edit: - It seem that it’s possible that you might have blocked comments that contain “web/url” links. I removed the link in the comment and it came through! 😎🔥✨♥️
In all honesty people switch between Myers Briggs personalities throughout their lives, even day to day. The personality is not rigid like 1s and 0s but a fluctuation along a continuum. Honestly every organism struggles to exist in this universe, so being any personality can have its ups and downs and feel insane at times, it is not a unique experience to any one personality type
Seek your inner child and listen to your heart again. Infjs i think grow into intj bc they have a capacity to be so smart but arent smart at birth like intj. And in the end its the wrong shoe even if youre good at it. Your intelligence is not your compass.

Doesn't sound like your personality type. Sounds like insecurity which anyone can have. Removing insecurity isn't changing your personality. Its funny though, my ex was infj and the same problems happened, I didnt give her enough attention and it sounded exactly like what ur saying. Unrequited feelings, not giving what I'm getting. But again that can happen to anyone. Perhaps this is how insecurity manifests as this "personality type". Or maybe you need to spend less time focusing on "claiming" things about this "personality type" and fixate more on your individual self.
@@mizzox5924 I focus on reconnecting with my authentic self all the time. It’s ongoing process as well. Everyone has insecurities though, I don’t get the thing about personality. I just summed up what I learned from my experiences in coupe with things that other INFJs relate to. Anyways, people’s opinion will remain to be reflection of them ✌🏻
@@farida_mind I may just be projecting my own experience onto this, but feeling like you aren't "giving what you're getting" has nothing to do with your personality, that is just insecurity. The reason I say reconnect with yourself is I find it strange the similarities between you and my ex. Almost to a tea as though you read somewhere how you should feel, as an infj, and then proceeded to feel that way about these situations. Thats why I say you should reconnect with yourself and who you are through yourself, and not through what you read someone saying about you. Again pure assumption, but the similarities/identicalness of this just gives me that vibe. My ex had some trauma in her childhood, so I understand why maybe she'd latch onto something like this to become who she is, shes scared to see who she is, she doesnt want to relive that past. Maybe theres something in you that also causes you to latch onto the 16 personalities idk.
@@mizzox5924 Oh ok, I see where are you coming from. It sure can involve insecurity, as not receiving enough as people give can make them doubt their self-worth. I had it as well, but in my case, it also included other person actively showing how he enjoys taking advantage of it (in the past). I used to always make excuses for him because latching on other people’s energies is also a form of insecurity, but it as well highlighted my own lack of self-love and boundaries for me. I don’t use belonging to INFJ as a form of excuse or smth like that. I don’t reject me or any other INFJs having insecurities either. Only once recognised, it can be transmuted into power and self-awareness, to not fall into same situations with lack of reciprocity again. Thank you for sharing your perspective, appreciated 🙏🏻
@@mizzox5924 No offense, but your problem with your ex may be your own insistence that she does not know herself and, due to some internal insecurity, gets ideas of who she is from videos like this. Maybe she relates to this video because it just resonates with her 🤷♂️ Simple as that
@@Here4TheHeckOfIt Oh no she didn't show me this. I just saw it randomly, and I observed how similar the two situations were. She has always been obsessed with the 16 personalities thing, had nothing to do with me. But I know her childhood was very shitty, and something like that can make it harder to truly realize who you are. That is likely why she resonates and focuses so much on it. She desperately wants to know who and what she is, but can't and obsesses over reading over what "she is". As though shes simple and clear cut, and then views everyone else that way. But the similarities of this situation only confirmed my perspective of that. But shes actually intj so I'm just yapping. Just realized😅

This is exactly what baptism is symbolic of is having already experienced the death of one's past so that they Rise Again into the new life and become a brand new creature born from above Thomas supernaturally and externally by the power of God
So this personality characteristic definition is quite interesting and curious to me, as though it's defining a rare and distinct personality type out of 16 possibilities, is that where this come from?
This is the new and interesting concept because as a born-again regenerated believer in christ, this is something elementary, foundational, essential, it's the starting point and the beginning of the entry into the kingdom of heaven and without it, there is no entry and nothing else can happen. In fact you can't even begin to see the kingdom of heaven without dying to yourself and being born again through faith in Christ
Finally, just to be clear, there are millions of people who call themselves Christians that have never experienced this according to what Jesus said that they are not saved and not really Christians so what I am saying does not apply to them
@@7x779 Calling people that undergo individuation "Christians" tells that you're not (in the least) familiar with Jung and his work (on whose book the 16 personalities test was founded).
Older INFJ here .... many years .... lots of professional training to better understand Living Life with great understanding

Although always an INFJ I was never truly awake until aware of the interconnectedness of my misunderstanding and the cognitive functions I needed to know to put words to feeling and experience.
I know that these are not always guaranteed in life, though we could be trying our best to have it. So we learn to become more flexible in life too.

So right now you are projecting your values of your past experiences,
- That is constantly changing, just at much slower rate than other.
- Or you are valuing being consistent with who you are.
As an ENFP, I'll tell you this:
- You are already presenting all the pardoxes of life that no one has figured out, like a mine-feild, you are trying to avoid the mines....
You look for consistency, the FINAL TRUE PATTERN to follow in life.....
- But it does not exist
So I gave up on finding that...
- Let's walk right into the mine-feild and make firework baby ;)
BOOOM BAMM,
People think they have it figured out!
- Hell nah
Good book for you
- Kokology
Look it up, you gonna LOOOOOOOOOVE IT!

@@MentalAsylumDimension33 thanks for comment! I had few ENFP friends, so I kinda observed our differences as well. While I understand where ENFPs come from, I don’t neglect INFJs personal need for more consistency and structure.
You are such a cool person!* 😎🔥❤️
Did you know I tested as *INFJ* yesterday?
I was so tired after all the answers, but I couldn't believe I became an INFJ!
I posted my reaction and results in real-time on TikTok
### My Cognitive Functions:
- *Ni:* 64.06%
- *Ne:* 60.56%
- *Si:* 53.19%
- *Fe:* 50.88%
- *Ti:* 50.19%
- *Fi:* 48.75%
It feels weird because I relate to many aspects of INFJ, but with a stronger emphasis on *Ni* and *Ne* .
Overall, I think I'm a pretty unusual kind of INFJ- *extremely SPACY!*
I'm less prone to let *Ti* ruin me or *Ni* drain me. With *Ne* in second place, I tend to explore more with high emotional intensity instead of diving deep into understanding.
Since *INFP/ENFP* types have strong *Ne* and *Si*, I often come off as an “ENFP/INFP,” but in reality, I'm an *INFJ* with high-energy intensity that doesn’t fit the typical INFJ stereotype:
*Most INFJ*
Structured, composed, and slow-talking, with highly compressed information that gets easily drained by overload.
*Me*
- I’m hyper-excited about the smallest things, often with a very unstructured, satirical speech that doesn’t always make sense but is funny as hell.
*It’s like a “welcome to the show”* when conversing with me! “Where can I mentally take you today? I’m here to blow your mind with my inner rich world and make you laugh at your own life!”
I tend to express my INFJ-ness in a very *“heart-on-the-sleeve”* / *“open book”* kind of way. I don’t waste time on “my identity.” Instead, I embrace aspects of *INFP* and *ENFP* :
> “Yeah, I’m probably psychotic, straight out of the mental hospital… I know people think I’m dumb. So let me make you laugh at it too! Just to let y’all know what a crazy PSYCHO I am!”
While I do have that typical INFJ side of “No one knows the real me,” I also have a rebellious *ENFP/INFP* vibe that says:
“Hey, look at me! You see how crazy I am? Aren’t you laughing too? Just wait until I blow your mind with some sick art you’ve never seen!”
*I think most INFJs would be like:*
“No one knows the real me, and I try so hard to fit in…”
While I’m like that, I express the hidden parts of the stereotype:
- I’m less about telling you what to do with your life and more about listening and exploring options, like an INFJ, but in a more optimistic and less blunt way.
Yeah, I can see myself as an INFJ. It was already on the horizon from the last test I did four months ago, which suggested I was *ENFP/INFP/INFJ* (all within less than 1% of each type).
### Like you mentioned in your video:
I relate to that “fundamental change” for a bigger cause. I experience periodic paradigm shifts every 3-6 months. But you can change my mind in one day:
- *“Ayyy guys, I’m opening a comedy RUclips channel!”* - with dark, high-drug vibes.
- *“Actually, no! I wanna be 100% clean! I’m writing a book and becoming a good chef!”*
- *“No, actually, I wanna travel to Japan and become a Buddha! THIS IS WHO I AM NOW!”*
While it might take an INFJ 6-12 months to reach such conclusions, that’s just me living life every day!
People who know me love me, but they often say, “They don’t know me…” *So, who am I? What are my core morals?*
I’m figuring that out every single day! So let’s all laugh about it! 😎🔥✨
Sorry if I spammed some comments, trying to figure why it’s not getting accepted my Google!:
Edit:
- It seem that it’s possible that you might have blocked comments that contain “web/url” links. I removed the link in the comment and it came through! 😎🔥✨♥️
Why are INFJ usually like the typical ENFP and INFP? The NF.
