Back in the day, I added 1500 square feet to my house, doing all the work myself with my 14 year old sons help. I swore then I would never do sheetrock again. You make it look so easy. I enjoy watching a craftsman like you, because then I can see what I did wrong. I enjoy your channel and I love watching you and Matt work together.
It's nuts to me as someone who worked as a plasterer her in the UK just how much gear you use we just used to use a hawk , towel and straight edge . It's great to see how different we do the same job loving the videos I really enjoy watching the building videos since being forced into early retirement due to ill health I miss being on site and getting my hands dirty .
There is many ways to do the same job if the job is good when done then it was a success. Sorry to hear about your early retirement it sucks when you’re forced to quit
I'm not a fan of textured ceilings either. I'm sure mine include asbestos. What?! You make it appear easy to get a smooth surface. 16 years ago, I thought it was difficult so had my contractor put a knock down texture on the ceilings of my kitchen remodel. At least it's not popcorn like the other rooms have. Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and your family.
Being a mud man/woman is definitely an art form.
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
