And so Spider Man keeps suffering, but unlike Mark, he will never reach the conclusion and no deserved catharsis will follow. His closest ones will keep dying, deceased foes will keep resurrecting and girls will keep leaving him.

See that’s exactly what I love about the series, I feel like I’ve read and seen many others where there’s a couple scenes that are like “oh fuck, that’s good” and “OHHHH SHIT OKAY” moments, but Invincible manages one about every chapter maybe more lol

People are giving alternatives to the time-skip, but really, they could have just advanced time - draw some panels of the intervening years, and then explain it's 'five years later' now. no fuss needed.
