I remember an off shore site had LLWS, and they had Gavin weir pitching as an underdog and the under set at 7.5… it was the easiest wealth redistribution Opportunity in history
Played serious ball with a HS buddy, 5’8 maybe, 145lbs, lefty and born somewhat bow legged, pitched 89/91 at 14. Rest of us hi 60 low 70 if lucky. He went on to play Minor ball for a few years at 2nd base. I remember he was hell to get off his feet playing hockey too. Solid as hell good friend and teammate.
There are a lot of Hockey players trying baseball. And they are doing so well. Tom Glavine of the Atlanta Braves player hockey. He turned out to be a hell of a baseball player.
Wish they televised PG tourneys. Im 22 now, played 14u against kumar rocker at the atlanta facilty. He was touching low 80s on 60ft mound. He got drafted 1st rou d our senior year lol
@@jcgocrazy yeah his travel team was full of D1 studs. Also played against Carmen mlodzinski (pirates pitcher) in high school. Low-mid 90s and a crazy CB that was like 79-83.
That Gavin Weir concerns me though, incredible as he is. He gets almost all of his velocity with a very floppy and violent arm whip. You know he's probably thrown a ton, probably too much in LL, because parents are stupid and don't take care of their kids' arms. He throws like this to the MLB level, he may be 75% used up and not far from his first TJ surgery.
I saw this too. He's got to practice a form or his arm will fall apart. All of these kids sadly if pushed to fast and not taught recovery techniques they are done. He's controversial but I watched Trevor Bauer and learn alot over the last few years. Too bad I'm 27 lol
It depends on what he's feeling. l throw with a very loose whipping sidearm slot, and I've experienced no elbow issues for a year. But the second it hurts, I'm making a change.
He's got a Perfect Game account. FB velo is sitting around 80. He's class of 2027. Still 5'8 and about 140. Hasn't had any issues with his arm as of yet. Has pitched pretty well in high school so far. He's about to be 16. Here's to hoping for a growth spurt and that he can continue to improve and throw at a high level.
Last year there was a pitcher named Caiden hall he threw mid 70’s I played him in district because he was from Hagerstown and I was from nc and we are like 15 minutes away in indiana he was impossible to hit off of
I have been watching the LLWS for more than 35+ years and since 2017, it has been very disappointing. Once the bats were changed, the Home Run bomb days were over. Do you notice now, if you see one Home Run a game, you're lucky. And, the Home Runs are not moon shots like years ago, they basically squeak over the fence, maybe 230FT 240Ft tops versus the 280FT bombs of yesteryear. In 2016, my son was eleven years old and was hitting bombs in Little League, when he turned 12, in 2017, he was much bigger and stronger, yet only hit one Home Run, due to the bat change. People (fans) want to see Home Runs, that is why there is a Home Run Derby.
I play for 5 tool sports baseball and Ronnie Weir is my coach he is the father Gavin Weir and he has another son so I’m glad to see Gavin Weir in this video
As someone Who coaches several youth baseball team's , the amount of cheating with kids beings over the age limit is insane in the U.S. I doubt that other countries, are not doing this. One team already in recent history got banned when going under investigation.
@@brooksrichardson nah travel ball 365 days nothing but baseball. You take a stacked travel ball team then go to little league you’ll go really far. Most of these kids play other sports they only play baseball when it’s season vs travel ball kids who play 365 days a year nothing but baseball
Travel teams usually have kids outside their areas while all these little league teams have to stay in their district. Oh and if any 12 year old is only playing baseball he’ll be burned out by high school. Kids that age should play any sport they want
The problem with little league baseball is that it's organized.....go back to sand-lot and play the game and have fun......when you have a youngster that 5'9" and weights 165......throwing at a youngster that's 5'4"" weighs 120 pounds ..what do you think the result will be ........and the pitchers with all their curves etc......arms will be trash by their Senior year in high school.....
A 12 yr old throwing 80 mph heat and knuckle curves?
Yeah fucking right. Dude is 24.
“I am 12”
He was a 14 year old fun fact
Throwing 81 mph at 12/13 is absurd
Hardest I threw in highschool was 83 lol. I was a junkball pitcher, but I mainly played middle infield.
@@Monkey_11 it’s only that fast because the mount is like 15 closer than it is on normal sized fields
No, 81 is equivalent to 100+ mph
@@LouieLouPlays 106.5 equivalent.
@@igotflavors what
Garrett Williams had 15 innings of 0.00 ERA and 17 strikeouts in one game. Unhittable as they come.
This is back when little league World Series was amazing
So two years ago?
I'd say this one was amazing
Props to these catchers somehow catching these at this young
I remember an off shore site had LLWS, and they had Gavin weir pitching as an underdog and the under set at 7.5… it was the easiest wealth redistribution Opportunity in history
1:52 this kid is insane, he legit has pro mechanics
Dude has Chris sale mechanics lol
I remember watching him I'm from nd
Is mechanics are terrible. What are you talking about
Luis Garcia still had the same mechanics 😂😂😂
Facts 😂

Ryan matsuda - Played for team Canada he was hitting like 78-82 from this range it was absurd
Madjik Mackenzie was a beast too

For the first kid i only started throwing a knuckle curve when I was 14 15 and he's been throwing it since he was 12😭😭
That big Japanese kid from a decade ago was a stud
Tanaka
I’m pretty sure it’s kiyomiya
Ah I was off by a decade, I was thinking of Yutaaro Tanaka from 2003
Had to do some research didn’t know Tanaka. You were off by a decade tho
That first kid had some nasty stuff. I hope he doesn't do anything to his arm.
Just wild that these kids are the same age as me but throwing 20mph harder
great and all but i wanna see a follow up on these cats in 5-6 years!!
Notice that most of these pitchers have hit an early growth spurt. They will not be as dominant when the other kids catch up.
You must be speaking from experience. Peaked as a kid huh?
crazy thows
Played with a guy who was up to 86 at 12 from 50 feet 😂
Ehh he probably hit puberty at 11
How tall was he and how much did he weigh
Second kid is a mini Chris sale
Now all these kids have had Tommy John lol
All those kids are amazing
For some reason you don’t hear about these kids past high school
LL strike zones are huge.
@goskawow1943 I am eight is throwing 50 mph good ?

RIP elbows
Gavin weir is a young chris sale
I’m being completely honest. If any good travel team faced Gavyn Weir he would get rocked
You sure bout that bro 😂 LLWS teams are often better then most travel teams
@@brooksrichardson yes I’m pretty sure
Actually out of the 15 travel tournaments he pitched 10 and they won all ten that he pitched against and the games they lost it was all a close game

Wtf. First kid was absolutely ridiculous
How long ago was the first guy? What’s he up to these days?
He played in the 2016 LLWS and is now a Catcher in the Seattle Mariners’ organization.

That kid that throws 80-81 He’s the future Aroldis Chapman
the announcers don’t know what a knuckle curve is

El Segundo had a kid that was 12 years old 6’ 170 😂
Who was it?
Was it lappe?
No Danny Almonte? 😂
“I am 12”
shouldn't be throwing this hard as a teen. or a kid. impressive nonetheless
Where is Davey-jay Rijke
What are you waiting for?! Draft em and get them in the minors! Now!
Emoki😮 was decent
"I'm 12"
LLWS in a nutshell 1 really oversized kid on the brink of 13 vs a lineup of pre prepubescent kids.
carlos gonzales is really good but nowadays looks like the average 12 u travel ball kid. am i right??
I'm on Gavin weirs dads baseball team 5 tool sports is the name
Kids an animal
i was throwing 80 at 12. yawnn
That’s a knuckleball not curve lmao
glad they got rid of 13 year olds throwing 80
Danny Almonte>>
Kid isnt 12/13.

I saw a kid that threw 100 mph at 16
Too bad they took the 13yr old's out!Much better baseball being played, this only 12 is dumb!
