Thanks for this! I can stay at Hyatt House for free on points and I wondered how long the walk would be. Looks like 10-15 minutes. Not bad at all!
You are welcome. The walk isn't bad at all, even after being at the park all day it is very doable.
Great walking tour, I think that this would be about my limit though. I’d get a ride share for hotels that are further away.
Typically this is about the limit for most people. We are staying at a hotel further away next month and we are debating showing a walking video or not. I think at minimum we are going to cover taking ART to Disneyland.

I can’t fathom how this can be billed as “across the street”
Unfortunately quite a few of the surrounding hotels use tricky language when describing how close they are to the parks. We always try to map their location to see where they are located. This walk isn’t too terrible, but certainly isn’t right across the street either. Thank you for watching!

@@dalewebb6115 the two hotels that are the closest are the Park Vue Inn and the Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini Suites. They are both right at the main crosswalk over Harbor Blvd into the esplanade between Disneyland and CA Adventure. We have videos on both hotels on our channel. Super convenient walk especially if you forget something or like to take mid day breaks in the room. ☺️
This is a very long walk vs the Fairfield
Hi! We have a walking video for the Fairfield Inn as well and surprisingly the Hyatt House isn’t much longer of a walk. Mapping it on google maps, Fairfield in is .5 miles and Hyatt House is .6. So it just depends if you want a larger room that includes a full hot breakfast. Thank you for watching. ☺️

That’s a tough one. If you’re comparing the two, we would look at what your top priorities are for your stay. Do you want an included breakfast? Do you want or need a larger room? Or are you ok with a smaller room? The good thing about both properties is they are close to other food options. Fairfield Inn has Mimi’s Cafe, Panera and McDonald’s. And Hyatt house has Starbucks, Blaze Pizza, Yangs chicken and a Walgreens (for snacks/meds, etc). Plus at Hyatt house you are very close to all the food options at the Garden Walk mall. Another thing to consider is Fairfield Inn is a motel and Hyatt House is a hotel. For us, we factor in the price of the breakfast when comparing the room rates, and we typically will go with the cheaper option including all taxes and fees. Hope that helps!!
@@AnaheimParkTourist I took a look at your video. It's about a 5min difference. Hyatt for me is cheaper on pts and I like how they have ev charging, free breakfast is a bonus. Fairfield is just super convenient but costs more bonvoy pts. I have stayed at the Fairfield, the Hyatt is an unknown for me.
@@kaiguo2655 totally get that! We used the EV chargers at Hyatt house. If we remember correctly, there were 4. Two at the hotel and 2 at the Walgreens that they share a parking lot with. If for some reason you have an issue charging there, the Toy Story lot which is super close to the Hyatt House, has 100 EV chargers and we have never seen those fill up. ☺️
We would for sure recommend reading the most recent reviews for Hyatt House on Yelp and TripAdvisor to see what people are saying. It’s always nerve wracking for us to try a new hotel, because you want to have the best stay as possible. And it’s expensive and you want to feel you are getting your money out of it too!
