FYI, I've been doing OOAK jeans, denim jackets and more, for a year or two. Not sure what your budget is, but as a person with EXTREMELY limited income, I actually found my local thrift shops, Salvation Army included, want at least $6 plus dollars for one....if you can find it! I'm in NO WAY getting paid to say this, but I'd try options like the Big E Bay, as well as Threadup. You can find people dumping their kid's clothes (if you want to make gifts/a small profit) on the 'Bay, and I like Threadup, because as an Elder Goth, I can see who is liking what, that's maybe not in my concept to search! As to the latter, I have spent MORE than $6 on a denim jacket, for adults, especially if it has a lot of hearts (trend?!), and I see that this designer piece would seriously set my work apart. I try to use only Fair Trade fabrics, or other ethically sourced materials, for personal and global reasons. Best wishes!
