I noticed that the rotary cutter you use is about a 45 mm model, for those tight corners you can get a smaller one that will make cutting the curves much easier. For the trimming stage, i found that for any similar kind of trimming, a cheap pair of nail scissors works like a charm, they are sharp, with a sharp pointy tip and can be gotten in anywhere. Sounds crazy, i know, but from experience i know they work well.

absolutely. I will come up with one. Someone did suggest using plastic wrap. You wrap and wrap and wrap. Then cut off the excess with an exacto knife so its just covering the shoe. Then cut it off and you can use that as a pattern

While gluing and stretching the fabric, do you think it would help to firmly stuff the boot with balls of newspaper or something similar to help "form" the boot while you're working with it? Love your videos! Your ideas and DIY's are fantastic.
I would do a mock up of this pattern first that beautiful holographic gold sequin fabric is expensive so any mistakes can be hashed out .I feel like you are an advanced crafter/sewer/pattern maker who can just dive right in and get it right. These look so amazing!! I love sequin fabric but I break sewing machine needles every time I use it.
oh no I say that twice in the video! You want to cut the pattern in a cheap stretch fabric to check your pattern before you cut it in your main fabric. I tested mine before the video so that I could make the video shorter

Can use knitted socks over the block heel shoes to make sock boot of any height ? And how to cut sock for that block heel ? For stilettos it was easy 😊
Would you recommend a similar system if I want to make ugglike boots covered with rhinestone mesh, not draping but tightly on them, I feel like it wouldn’t look as perfect because it’s hard to get a perfect seam with something like crystal mesh. If I made the pattern in the same way what ideas would you recommend in order for them to look as nice as possible
