  • This recipe for celeriac, kale, barley & apple broth is taken from Much More Veg. Perfect for this time of year when the veg are in season and a comforting and warming meal is welcome on a chilly day.

The book is great, but can we please have some videos in the old format? If you must advertise while you make these (understandable, gotta make money) then show us cooking some meals from your restaurant or speak up for some of your local producers! I would be so down for a video showing off some gorgeous produce or one of your chefs showing off a restaurant meal!

Been enjoying cooking the recipes from this book. I've recently turned vegan and its been excellent. The 'pea speltotto with lemon and hazelnuts' has probably been my favourite so far. Would highly recommended this book to anyone, meateaters as well.

I understand that these videos are here to advertise the new book, unfortunately they're bland and lack the charm that makes River Cottage so wonderful. Extending the video by a minute and having Hugh or one of the River Cottage regulars present them would be much more interesting and fun.

Truly miss the "old" videos, it's makes a world of a difference if you have an enthusiastic cook show off a gorgeous meal as opposed to this "tasty crap". I do understand that the purpose of these videos is to mainly advertise the book, and that's great & all, but it's not why I've been following this channel.
Could we please get some information on whether this "change" (for the worse) is permanent or temporary?

Seriously, listen to your audience. Stop it with this kind of video, and please go back to the wonderful, charming older style.
