- In this video I replace some concrete tiled hips for lead ones. The client feels that the concrete ones don't look right. And also they keep coming loose.
The lead hips will provide a traditional maintenance free solution.
I also replace the lead apron flashing to the EPDM rubber flat roof. This originally wasn't installed correctly. And it was only a matter of time before it fails.

Most of your hips are the same profile do they make prestamped hips? I'm in the US been in architectural metals my whole life unfortunately lead would not work in Florida where we have high winds.
I don’t think you can buy these off the shelf.

Thank you. I usually work on my own doing lead work. But I’ve got a couple of big jobs coming up that I might have a labourer for.

The back is so much better. I still have days where it’s a little worse. And I need the occasional day off. I see an osteopath once a month. And so far it’s keeping me working.
Get yourself one of those massage guns. Keeps me going. After stripping a roof I need it😂 glad to see it👊

I find cycling helps with lower back pain it gets your hips moving, also don't forget to stretch morning and evening

It’s for the clips that I do as a Timelapse. No Audio is recorded. I thought the music would be better than silence ?
