Not many people know about this little modification. Using factory Toyota parts you can have a significant upgrade for your 4A-C powered Toyota. By removing 3+ pounds off the crank, you gain significant throttle response and give your 4A-C a little pep to its step. Where can you buy the clutch and flywheel I also have a 4ac in my 86 I’m working on does it make a big difference in how it drives?

You will most likely need to do some junkyard hunting for a 7afe 6 bolt flywheel.
The clutch should be readily available through pretty much any parts store that supplies aisin or exedy OE clutch kits.
The clutch itself will feel about the same, but it is a little stronger and durable.
The biggest change in performance is that the engine is a bit more free. RPMs will climb and fall faster.
