You can really see the bagua influence. You can tell quite easily that this form of Tai Chi is meant to stave off multiple opponents. It looks like that instead of the "eight directions" that most Tai Chi forms deal with, this one has more, including double angle defenses and strategic withdrawal. Beautiful form throughout.
His name is jaques Maramarco. He teaches down here at the J.C. I go to. It's more wing -Chun based though.He also trained under augustine fong for wing chun. Yup, Sun is the 3 internal styles combined.
@yamiyomizuki he was already considered a genius at Xing Yi and Ba qua. That makes it possible but only if you had a great talent. He did. *shrugs* Dont know what more need be said.
The date on the video description can't possibly be correct - it would have made her 20 when the video was shot and she certainly looks older than that.
man i studied yang style for 25 years. but sun is stronger then yang with full body movement and its nasty street applications. many of these moves if your a master you would know how brutal they really are.

Sun-style is a mix of xingyi, bagua and taichi a form which was created by her father is i'm not mistaken.

Worst Taiji recording ever, not showing footwork does not help...
Maybe not the worst BUT zooming to upper body only and leaving out parts of the form makes NO sense.
